I’ll let you know how it does at 2000 when I get to build but feels really nice though super smooth bone bearing inside....just a waiting game now I’m all set ready to go

It should do. I've put feather weight touch when wrapping and hard as I can grip and mine still spins well because of the bearings. Haven't used the revolver but I've seen good remarks about it on Instagram. Nice setup there @KingPin! Like the engraved measuring tape a lot dude

had to rush the fuse, so a few bad spots there. not sure what you call this one. (or would call it if it were correct)

I like Patinos gear as well mate...bought a few bits from them now ...picked up some wide boy alienmakers as well wanna see if they glide easier than my originals
Happy Easter to anyone that is celebrating! I did a couple more builds yesterday I did another frailen and a "Shredder Coil". I think the latter came out better than it did the last time. All in all I have to clean up my work a little but they are very vapable

roundwire stagg.. needed something quick, no time to prep a staple core, but the staggerton being my new go to coil figured why not try it using all round wire. 26g staggered with 32g, framed with 28g, fused with 36g all N80

I have a couple builds I need to do but they don't include staggering and I really like to stagger stuff lol.
Only thing I'm doing is focus stacking images ... And I hate the photography part it's such a PITA that you(I)wish you was building, becomes the therapeutic part.

Really Impressive Staggered build! Really professional photography as well. How does the pair vape? I can kinda see what's going on it looks like a 6ply stack of ribbon in the middle framed with some more ribbon that's two and then staggered, two and then staggered ect. I'd love for you to tell me how you do that, I mean that looks really hard, and then at the very outside it's all framed with a round wire and then all the gaps are fused. The build is 2x 4ply .3 N80 ribbon staggered with 42G N80 , the core is 6 ply .3 SS ribbon, skip fused together with 42G of some alloy I forget... Think SS.. and outside frames are 30G SS with final fuse being 42G SS.

apreciate it so much! Yeah i'm going to have instagram soon when i get photography tent proper lights ect. Then i will start to do compilacated builds to just for fun. I just like to make simple stuff and they tent to vape the best to

Just tried to do staple staggerton but i messed up my spacing on ribbon stack after 3 - 4 inches because my staggering weight was to small So i decided just to do rest of the wire regular staple coil. 6ply .45 ribbon and fused & staggered with 38G (frames on staggerton 28G). I'm super happy how they wrapped to the coil form but i needed to unwrap 1 wrap from regular staple and as it seems its not forgiving at all but its only the one lead

Ribbon wire doesn't like to be wrapped and then unwrapped. Found that out the hard way. Doesn't affect performance having the leads twisted up like, just something to remember for the "picture perfect" shot dude

Yeah i noticed that but now i know i can't unwrap them at all so my lead will be clean to
Can't tell you how many Staples I've messed up from trying to pull a wrap out. Must be because of it being stood on its end that messes it up when trying to unwrap? Either way it's best to try and wrap perfectly first time. Clamping pliers help in that case I've found. Easier than using a vice, I think anyway. I just clamp the pliers round the wire and lie my wrapping rod on top clamped in my fingers. Then wrap as tight as I can. Sometimes I'll use pliers to grab the other end of the stick to wrap if the wire is particularly stiff. Ya might know these tricks already, I do find them very helpful though

Thanks Mach1ne! My work hasn't been as clean in my last few posts as it normally is. I bought a new drill with more battery power and I'm still getting used to the feel of it. As you can see my leads are jacked up. This doesn't prevent the coil from vaping well but ascetically it doesn't look as nice. I need to get back into my groove. Family and work responsibilities can be overwhelming at times and it's not always easy to find time to build but I will make the time to practice and improve. Posting leads like that is a little embarrassing but I know any decent builder is going to understand. Gotta keep on learnin.

When you wrap a staple, the ribbon stretches proportionately from the inner to the outer edge. It doesn't 'bounce back' when unwrapped - the outer needs a place to go. So the unwrapped portion gets distorted.

getting ready to fuse. really wish my hand drill were here to make this easier.. may try to do it manually without a drill of any sort.. 28g frames, inside those 6*.3 ribbon separated in groups of 3 by a 28/32 spaced Clapton all to be fused with 36g.. all n80

Yep, flavor and clouds for miles, no dry hits, no leaking, no weird "tiny ID and super packing cotton" theory testing, just boring old normal working coil
Staggerton 8 ply. .45/28 frames/40. I really need to get magnifying googles or something staggering with 40g starting to get so hard to see i just did that almost blindly I need to learn my colouring game so i'm going to save this for later
