Asgard Minis are in my opinion right there with the Goon 25mm and Nightmare RDAs for dripping. Kalis my personal fav for squonking. Nightmare has a mini that is supposed to rival the Asgard Mini but I know what I'm getting at with the Asgard's so I haven't pulled the trigger.....yet lol.
Asgards...

I'm def interested what you think about the Nightmare Mini. Might take a few days obviously, but I've been waiting for someone on VU to tell us what they think. If it's anything like it's original big brother I'm all in!
All my buddys who have its every bit as good as the 28mm so im stoked to try it!!! Cuz I love both the 28 NM and Valhalla! Haha

So weird to me seeing NM posted.

Haven’t lived there in more than 25 years, haven’t visited since 2012...

Parents still live there though.

Last time I was there, a lot of gentrification projects...which was nice to see... cause it was truly trash there.

10 years there was more than enough

Highland to La Cueva in 89’

I do miss the food though.

You can beat the food here by any means IMO! Haha and yes it's gotten alot nicer her but it's still not where it could or should be, lived here all my 42yrs of life and couldn't picture living anywhere else. I love to travel but always can't wait to be home!

Did you try them, same deck I believe if you're talking about the Valhalla 28, with the solid silver pin? What was it about them that you thought was shit? Funny thing @~Don~ , I used to reside in New Mexico as well. It was when I was real young for about 4 years. I have some faint memories of the place. It was around Roswell

.999 Silver vs the Solid copper isn’t a significant improvement in that RDA. And pretty much on all my mechs I’m .999 silver and .999 on the 510

To me they both had terrible tolerances on the orings, and juice would bypass them and look like seepage and travel underneath the Rda constantly.

They also both had nasty heat transfer to my mechs... I run .09 or .10 on the Asgard Mini... zero heat transfer.

The Valhalla cap would get scorching hot for me, even the ultem nightmare would get hot.

Flavor was ok.

Lastly... they were bad with inherent voltage loss, and the little gains you would get from a .999 silver pin, would still be significantly less than the AM without one.

Go from 3.64v to 3.68v with silver is just wasted money, when the AM is 3.74+ with just the copper pin and nearly 3.8v with .999.

Now others have said it vapes fine for them... I even traded my last Valhalla to gadget for another AM... he says it’s perfectly fine and it didn’t exhibit the heat soak I experienced.

And that’s fine, I can build coils from simple claptons to fraliens and no matter what I tried, it was just trash for me.

But the one thing being a mech head I can’t ever get passed, is inherent voltage loss.

I test each RDA I buy with the same build, on the same mech, voltage read at the terminals via DMM.

I read people a lot who say something hits hard... and I see them using a mod and or Rda I voltage tested and they pretty much lose all credibility especially when I say what’s the voltage read?

“I vape .06/.07, trust me it hits hard”

That doesn’t say anything to me, but you’re a potato head.

Hits like a truck! And it’s a mod/Rda I tested... must be a Tonka

Tell me they still have Blake’s there?

There was one on Iron road next to Highland High School back in the day I would go to almost daily for a green chili burger... Best $0.79 burger on my walk home.

Not that I think they are awesome to today’s standard of food’ism, but to a 14/15y old the, they were great.

If it dates me when I last lived there.

I installed more than half the HVAC systems at Cottonwood mall when it was being built

I think a lot of it is subjective. To a lot of people any atty with some decent aliens and a tube is gonna knock their socks off cause they aren't used to that kind of response of vape. I respect the time put in and your tests and look forward to your opinion on a mech or atty you give your 2 cents on. Prob gonna pick up an OG grip in the near future because of your opinion on it. Thanks for your response!

And just have some fun when ppl say hits like a truck that could mean so many different trucks from a Subaru Brat to a Mack diesel! Hahaha and to me all my mechs hit hard with the right build except my Pulse squonk. That hits like a little girl...

But for reals tho, thank you for your response and the study of actual voltage loss as I never woulda guessed. I like both my Val and NM and enjoy them as much as other rdas as to me they all have their place in my vape world and we all have different vape worlds and that's what makes it awesome is all the options we all have

Alright guys 1st impressions of the NM25...they have a solid copper 510 pin!!! Haha same deck just smaller. Awesome AF with a .1Ω build chucking clouds and flavor!!! Oring tolerances feel great so far but we'll see how they last in time. Over all 10/10 for 1st impressions will report back later with extended use hahaha

Nightmare 25 sitting on the Snow Caps Denali!!!

Are you going to provide a full tutorial with pictures for me and @dubya314 then? ?
2.5mm coils cut so that they either sit on or are just off the deck. Pull them up and toward the middle so that there is maybe a mm between the coil and the ultem airflow insert. Take the insert out of the cap and put it on the deck to determine this and you should just see the bottom of the coil in the slot part on the bottom of the airflow.

Do it like that and you can't go wrong imho.

I'll be able to handcheck this tomorrow, black is hard to find in 25mm, took Albert 6 months to get a batch

They make Matte Black and Satin Black. I didn't want the aluminum top so I hunted down the Matte Black one while I could. I found it in a shop in NJ that I never heard of. Can't think of the name now either.

Vaperscloudz should be pumping out colored caps/beauty rings like crazy. People would pay good money for them.

For an RDA that size there's not a ton of room in there. 2,5 is the right size, again imho. Also, because there's not a ton of room there's less ways to get it wrong, but you can, Usually by setting the build too high. It will mute a bit if you do that.

It's easy to get it right, but it won't be at it's best if you don't. It can get a little spitty with the coils too high too.

I agree. This one I just bought is the Matte Black.

Good point on the caps and beauty rings, seems like a missed opportunity

I personally wasn't a fan of that chip in a single 18650 set up, added battery life with a 21700 should compensate for the battery efficiency of that chip though. I'll take a 60 over the 75C all day.

Both are the same efficiency, it’s the added power draw of the color screen vs the old style that makes it seem much worse

All from memory though... haven’t looked at the data sheets or on the forums for confirmation in a long while...though fairly confident that the E-Rating is right

It is actually a 21700. I just don't like the 75c chip. Much prefer a DNA60. And Pioneer is just not ny fav. I have three. All in trade, lol. Gettting rid of one tomorrow for this ... bantams.jpg
