Mmmm, that's a cheat day coffee if ever I saw one, with those little cookies on the side.

I conked out at around 10 last night, after not sleeping well all week, just walked like a zombie and went face down to bed, lights still on, computer still on, teeth unbrushed, the whole thing. Now I'm up, 3:30am here and can't go back to sleep. It's okay though. I can use the time to get caught up on work.

Feeling more crappy than usual. Been off testosterone for a month.

The last visit to health department, nurse did not have full dose in bottle. I've no idea how that happened. Two suspicions come to mind, nurses drawing out to skim to use or sell, the company shorting product.

Either case it comes back upon me as the patient. I get the prescription and the medicine comes to home. Then, upon visiting I take medicine to ensure fresh used syringe, proper doses and recorded by law as it's a controlled substance.

Now I have to use my own secondary spreadsheet to log the nurses for the doctor. As stated last week, or a few weeks ago, doctors cannot give shots in their offices nor their nurses. Which leaves me puzzled that the local clinic and health department can give shots. And this fairly much boils to insurance/money.

I guess I should have breakfast since I will be working through lunch and was up so freaking early. Had to drop off a check for my storage locker and not used to driving in the early morning.

When you speak of short shrift doses, I'm not sure if you're referring to the testosterone referenced in your first sentence, but I long ago stopped trusting doctors and pharmaceuticals. I feel certain there is a natural version of what you need, but I'll leave it to you to do your own research. The coming sticky wicket is a clause slipped into the so called "infrastructure" spending bill, by Dick Durban, which will make supplements available only by PRESCRIPTION.

In early 2020 when Covid was first a news item, before the journey into the fraud began, I bought a bottle of quinine, which still sits sealed in the medicine cabinet. I'm not planning to buy anything else. Ivermectin probably is the miracle that some say it is, but once you've been poisoned by the spike proteins you have to keep taking it over and over again. If this thing, like in the old movie The Blob, comes for me, I'm ready to go to heaven, but first I'll try out the quinine tincture.

Hydroxychloroquine is an improved version of the earlier Chloroquine, but both are synthetics of quinine, made from cinchona bark, a time honored treatment in tropical medicine.

I started taking high quality cod liver oil for an eczema attack a few years ago. It totally completely worked, but along the way I found out it's very potent in naturally occurring vitamin D, and in vitamin A the "skin vitamin". I still take it every day, but you have to read labels. Some of the CLO has the natural vitamin D removed, for re-sale in the natural vitamin D market, and is replaced in the oil with a synthetic. Caveat emptor.

I believe in nature. We evolved for eons without the use of pharmaceutical witch brews for every temporary or chronic need. Good food, exercise, and natural supplements when medicine is needed, will stand us in good stead, but each person must make these discoveries.

I wish you sweet health and peace.

Testosterone for me is not a supplement. My body does not create it on its own, never has. I do have a valid medical reason to take it and it is prescribed. Testosterone is on the controlled substance list.

Athletes and others get testosterone & use it for performance enhancement. They can get "roid rage" from an over excess of steroids, testosterone is THE steroid. I'm finding I have an opposite reaction. Without it, I have a "lack of 'roid rage".

I believe in nature. We evolved for eons without the use of pharmaceutical witch brews for every temporary or chronic need. Good food, exercise, and natural supplements when medicine is needed, will stand us in good stead, but each person must make these discoveries.

Can agree with the sentiment of this. I also know though there are some benefits to modern pharmaceuticals. Not everyone fits the "normal" profile and some of us face chronic congenital disease. If you're interested, here's what I deal with & more in depth via Wiki.

So yeah, rather not use all kinds of junk. But in some cases the junk is useful.

I understood, from what you said, that testosterone was not a supplement you were purchasing, but a medical treatment. I mentioned Durban's "supplements by prescription only" in the infrastructure bill, because it will make it difficult for people to treat themselves, using supplements, in the future.

I shouldn't have replied in the first place. It looks as though you have a great challenge, and we all deal with our challenges in our own ways. I still don't think the established medical-pharmaceutical industry will ever have the answers, but in this instance, I don't have the answer either. This is the first I've ever heard of this syndrome, and it may be a modern disorder that isn't dealt with in the long stretch of history. It also appears that it has multiple potential complications. If I'd ever had to deal with it, or had a loved one who did, I would have found answers. There are many substances that are controlled, but can be found unregulated in natural sources.

Even when I was dealing with eczema in 2018, which was a pure torment that can only be attested to by others who have suffered from severe outbreaks of it, all I could read online was that it has no cure, that you can only treat the symptoms. There are pharmaceuticals you can take for life, which, guess what, make you sick, cause side effects and adverse events. While there are many physical profiles, so there can be no single natural cure that applies to all, yet the "no cure" pronouncement is pure hogwash. IMO, med-pharma's truth is their truth, not the only or the final or the real truth.

That's all I'll say. I'll leave it to you to make your peace with what's on your plate, and how you deal with it. I only wish you the best of sweet life.

Actually it went smooth but I had to make the hole in the wall smaller. That's the way it goes because the old units were bigger and even the same BTU is not just slide it in.

[Deleted: Rethought even posting. Self censoring more so lately. Clear for many reasons one needs to do so. First wrongly thinking one is among friends.

If friends dark humor could be appreciated, accepted.
If friends sharing of life experiences is acceptable.
If friends compassion, understanding are present.

These are not the case. What is, is shock, sorrow, patronizing. Apologies If my differences offend, shock, startle, seem distasteful to you but I do not apologize for being different. Perhaps the apology should be coming from a different source.

Not sure. Not sure of much but lately getting surer I'm not around friends here or anywhere online, or offline. My wife, dog, cat are my friends. Those alone. A shame I cannot reach out to others. I see what I get if I do though. Done with that.]

It appears to me you are a farmer in this life. I like the look of that small tender broccoli. Looks more like what they call broccolini. I'll bet it's milder and less sulfuric in flavor than the big tough heads you get in the stores. I think I see a few peppers tucked in there with the broc.

The tomatoes, fabulous.

Good job, lucky you.

Is it raining on you again?

I can't tell you how much I enjoy this thread. I used to go months without logging into VU, but now I don't want to miss a day of sharing and conversation with the small group posting here. I guess it's Cootie19, working at home, and not much work. I'm not exactly lonely. I never did like being around people that much, and I see friends on a regular basis, but you know how it is with gatherings of friends. Sometimes you laugh and have a good time, other times you're just tolerating their tedious declarations of their viewpoints.

TMI, I'm sure. Anyway, thanks. Hope you're having a holiday or day off today.

I count few and far between friends, farther still intimate friends. There's no one I go "hang out" with offline. Sure, I hang with my wife, dog, cat. No one though aside from them.

Lucky: There's a difference between lonely and being alone.

Lucky: He's gone, Howard, and you're all alone. We come in alone, and we go out alone.
Bobby Lawrence: That's awfully bleak.
Lucky: It's beautiful. "Alone" comes from two words, all-one. It's in the dictionary.

Lucky: It's all going to go away. You, you, you, you, me, this cigarette, everything... into blackness, the void. And nobody's in charge, and you're left with... ungatz.
Elaine: And what do you do with that?
Howard: What do you do with that?
Lucky: You smile.

Fretting & crying over it only drives you mad. Laughing at the absurdity of it, graces you with sanity.

Not really lonely here either. It would be nice to have folks to visit, talk. As it is insurance covers my seeing a social worker for an hour of talk therapy about ever month, sometimes two or three.

Talking really doesn't help beyond having a safe spot to vent. They offer solutions which are untenable & know they're doing it. My medical doctor, family doc, tells me "find Jesus".

Religion, all religion I think is dead. Most religions offer a creationist view. If it's created, it's done (static) and dead. We can see change (dynamic) keeping on and that is a product of life itself. If you got life & change, creation never happened.

Anyway no matter my thoughts, the universe will do its own. :)

Having Coffee and washed the Kitchen and Dinette floors in case my Sweetie comes today for a BBQ. She had a new Bed Delivery Scheduled and with it being a Holiday I figure it will be early or by lunchtime. Then I need to setup the Backyard fora BBQ and do some cooking. Still have to clean the bathrooms and get a loaf of bread.

I always make friends with the bartender at the restaurants I visit when I'm on the road. I keep them happy with tips and they keep me happy with sometimes little extras on the drinks. You scratch my back I'll scratch yours kinda thing.

Fixing to feed the dog then take her outside to take care of her business. I'll be vaping and walking around the yard while she checks everything out.

Is still alive in our home. We are both, my wife and I, Christians and creation believers.
:)👍

Interesting. Do you take the theory of evolution into consideration?

If not do you think there is only say two different species of mice/burros/tigers?

I'm asking to understand, not berate, debate. Know plenty of Christians that accept modern science/s. Know many that don't.

Hello Smigo. Nice to see you here. I think about Australia every day, not that I don't have plenty to worry about in my own country. This is the first time in my life that I've felt the whole world is in crisis together. I also believe we can come out of it together.

There is a commentator I love to watch. I was running across him from time to time on one of those news aggregators, where you get your grade A along with your clickbait. This gentleman is definitely top grade, and is risking arrest for what he does, a sort of general "news and commentary from the foxhole". I finally located his channel, so I can check for new posts every day. His September 3 is thought provoking.

Maybe you'll enjoy it if you don't already know about it.

I feel that religion is often conflated with spirituality. Like all institutions (governments, schools, philosophies, medicine, art), religions have the inconsistencies and confusion of human involvement and interpretation. It doesn't mean there isn't truth to be found in it, peace, comfort, strength to draw on.

We all can choose and interpret. I don't think you can get through any institutional idea without cherry picking. Fortunately, I like cherries :)

Hi.
I had the theory of evolution drummed into my head all through my school years and see it on tv and in documentarys all the time. Its been just a little bit difficult not to have ever considered it. I guess to a non Christian its just a given and something not given a second thought. But to us its pushed at us from every direction. Every doco tells us this evolved like this or that, every week in the news there's something, in newspapers, magazines.
The mice and tigers question, speciation?
Of course I believe in speciation, that doesn't though mean I believe in evolution.
But my cornerstone, the rock of my faith isn't and doesn't need that I understand how every single living thing became how it did. But it is fundamental that I believe God created the world in 7 days and all that was in it in those 7 days.
You see, thats the very beginning of the Bible, the foundation. 1 day wasn't thousands of years as many Christians accept to try to fit evolution and creation into their faith.
The way that Genesis was written in the original Hebrew, the style used in the way it was, was and is how historically things are recorded. When it's read And.....And followed by a statement that means it happened and is being told exactly that way and is not open for interpretation. Its a fact Genesis was written originally in a way that is an historical record.
So knowing that, if I reject that, then I reject the whole lot.
But all that aside its my faith in Christ that saves me, not how much I know about anything.

Interesting, will refrain from further save to say I'm not suggesting anyone can, will, needs to know everything. Well, refraining as I said. As said, not debating or debasing.

I agree. I don't know everything and don't believe that one can argue nor debate another into believing anything. It's a high school thing in my opinion that even though one may appear the "winner" means little in reality. All I expect from anyone is common respect. Which you very much show in my opinion Mr Magic. 👍

PM me because I have some Reputable Bootleg sources at $15 a 60ML.

I will. Thanks! I got juice on sale a few months ago and was vaping it, but honestly what I mix is better. :teehee: I need to get yet more flavors, though. Sheesh, this buying for 25 years in the future is getting old.

So yes, I am vaping now more than smoking. I’m having a cig every now and then only. Once I stopped the pre mixed juice and made 120ml of my Creme de Menthe Custard, I was not really tempted to smoke.

Argh, I need more Kings Custard though, or a good substitute. The DIY or Die one shots need to be sold in more places than just LB!

Hope you and your sweetie and your mom are all doing well. <3

I woke up to cracks of lightening and thunder here and a couple of heavy rainfalls.
I just saw a news story on flooding in NY. Looked pretty bad.

Yeah I was reading not long ago that the Chinese are right into weather manipulation.
Cant recall where I read it.

Was browsing the news earlier and came across a Yahoo article. Hadn't seen Yahoo news in ages.
Apparently going by the big happy smile on the reporters face this is good news.
View attachment 185878

I was watching one of ours the other night with a girl reporting on case numbers and hospitalisations and deaths. The entire time she was smiling from ear to ear.

Mate, remember a positive test is reported as a case. It may be asymptomatic or even a false positive. PCR tests are notoriously unreliable.

As long as you don’t have symptoms, you’re okay. Anyway, you can take Quercetin, Zinc, D3 and C and be okay.

If you’ve had the jab and feel wonky, try some pine needle tea or star anise tea.
