Thought I'll give you the guys a heads up...After reading the "Another forum banned me because?" forum and reading a few things in there I thought I'll have a snoop over at ECF.. it's been some time since I have been over there to my shock I had 2 security issues from to different progs Avast internet security and Malwarebytes Anti malware premium...The Avast block ECF Here is what I got from both Progs

i use avast and i go there to read Sarah's ITC thread. no problems for me. you know, other than the moderators.

Good morning to everyone, especially those of you who are beginning to enter you darkest season...
My wife has a lot of extended family issues stemming from her childhood with some popping up every now and then even now.
She is bi-polar and manic depressive and this morning I was reminded that today is the beginning of the longest season of the year for us as she was moving around the kitchen this morning looking for a sugar laden breakfast and skittering around like a mouse.
I just want everyone to remember, including @cherrycakes that even though it gets tough to respond with a supportive or loving message every time we see an expression of pain or outpouring of emotion, I'm certain that we do all read them and are "listening". You are not ignored, but are in my thoughts and the thoughts of others here.

I have no idea...I use AD blocks so I have never seen a AD there or anywhere even on youtube before the vid starts...I know it wasn't me...I tried there again and same shit then I ran all my scans plus a few more heavy duty ones and my PC is clean as a whistleOhhh wow Either they got a virus or send them to folks they want to keep away??????
you using free avast? I have the avast Internet security paid that has a few more bells and whistles plus the paid malwarebytes premiumso that would be a virus...in moderation?

I use the free version. Kelli recommended it. formerly, i used avg. i also use malwarebytes, ccleaner and spybot, all free.

Oh and I do this thing where I wake up really early to take pain meds and then go back to sleep so when I wake up for real I don't feel as horrible. Is that weird?
They are good but don't have real time protection ..you might also want to get ADWCleaner after you run all other scans.. you can get it here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ take this from a person who use to collect virus's
You should also get the ADWCleaner
BTW when I say "paid" They are the paid versions but I don't pay for them :shiftyeyes:

CCleaner first..That will clean up a lot of junk and make the other scans go a bit faster...after that no order but if you do get the ADWCleaner Always run that last

Trust me I know how you feel...PAIN FUCKING SUCKS!!!...just be careful if they are giving you narcs ...it can be a very fast slippery road... they have been times I have been on them for 2 months and then my nerve pain in the neck stopped and I went though 3 days of hell coming off them
I'll be glad to get off them but right now its the only thing keeping me out of the er. Already crying all day, can't imagine working without them. Plus for now it's only tramadol

Just always remember use them for what they are for...In the 3 days I was coming off them it I could have very easy taken them so I wouldn't feel like shit but thats where that slippery slope starts

Avast and MalewareBytes you run all the time.. Spybot and ADWCleaner once in awhile, especially after Avast or MB detects something. Use the Spybot 'Immunization' too.. CCleaner also once in awhile, just to get rid of the crap.

Well both progs showed up for me..You can see by my Logs...I am PC savvy......The ADWCleaner is always best to run last because it cleans a bit deeper and cleans up all the loose ends in the registry..etc where the others don't or may have missed...I do all my scans once a week normally sunday mornings ...Its a good habit to get into...Add edit.. The Spybot 'Immunization' is also very good but as you know it's only as good as it's update

Odd, I'm using the latest FF 33.1.1 and the latest Avast 15. No issues here browsing ECF.
However, I also use a hardware router and SPI firewall, a software ruled-based SPI firewall, SpywareBlaster, A large HOSTS file, ABP and NoScript.
My guess is, one of their ads (that I don't see) is from a less than awesome ad network?
Happens all of the time - ad networks get hacked or just aren't paying attention.
Add to that, that vaping sites likely are forced to go with less than great hosting and advertising partners for TOS reasons...and voila.
