Yeah that is why they did it. The final barrier of cells left before being diagnosed with cancer was the next layer left. They caught it just in time, but it took two tries to get everything to clear her and then she had to have biopsies every 6 months for a couple years and then once a year after that. At the 15 year mark they put her into a normal testing cycle for cervical testing but I don't remember what that frequency is.Oh god I can't imagine. they had to cut a piece of my cervix off to test for cervical cancer and HPV I forget the technical term and that was the worst pain of my life. they really oughta give you an anesthetic for that
