Wow, im impressed. I lose internet for a day and yall lose your freaking minds. Luicy running around everywhere showing everyone her boobs, yall getting drunk on wine and doing funky kindergarten dances. Really impressed :D

Cable company was out here yesterday working on the pole for who knows what reason, and after that I had no internet. Called them up yesterday afternoon and they said earliest they can get out here was Thursday afternoon. :gaah: Not good enough so I increased the charm and the bitching and they put a rush on the order and doubled my internet speed for $15 less a month.
Cable guy shows up this morning and I also told him to check by the road. He ensures me he is an internet specialist and knows what he is doing and wanted to check in the house..:blah:..and determines the problem is at the road so another crew has to be called out. :cuss2: They made it around 2 this afternoon and eventually fixed the internet. Took two bucket trucks but at least it is fixed. I did an internet speed test and sure enough, its running 65 mbps now which is double what I had so not bad.
Had my boy Rascal locked up in the bedroom during all this and he got to bark at more people than he has ever barked at before. Even the Fed Ex guy came by and got barked at so my boy Rascal is a happy camper too :D

So I wake up to an email from ebay saying my account has been compromised. Good morning to you too, world!

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

It could be worse, I woke up one day to find out my paypal was hacked to the tune of $2000 thru multiple purchases from ebay for all over the world. Thankfully Paypal cancelled every transaction and refunded every penny but had to change both my paypal and ebay passwords after that.

I think paypal is awesome. I once had a webhost try to bill me for a year of service, though they had somehow disappeared taking all my websites with them, and I had already changed hosting provider -- I got on the phone to paypal, and they assured me that the villain would be BLACKLISTED from paypal, and authorities notified. Fortunately when they tried to bill me, my credit card was maxed out so it didn't go thru anyway, but I got the alert so I knew it had happened.

Awe that's GREAT choppy!!!! You can't be double the speed and $15 dollars less. And Rascal getting to bark all that time. It's a win-win for sure!

How was the record keepin Atcha's day?.....:)
It was a GREAT day. Tiring, but got a lot done. I don't do record keeping though. I write T-SQL and SSRS reports so my eyeballs are totally blurry by the time I get home.
How was your day --- other than HOT? My son's in Arizona doing a percussion training thing for the Academy Drum Corps.

Actually it's outside.
Wow.....wouldn't wish that on anyone. Although our hot is much different than your humid HOT, anything below 110 isn't bad if the humidity is in the single digits.

BUT....the monsoon season is beginning...it's been lightening and thundering the last two nights without a speck of rain, and daytime humidity is rising slowly, soon the rain will come....:bliss:

I've found a wonderful way of dealing with the heat: STAY IN THE DAMN HOUSE. Easy peasy, especially since I vape now. 'Course, we got our electric bill today; $164, and the real heat of summer has barely started. This summer may see us going over our previous highest bill of $169.

End of Sept, we'll have been here 5 yrs, so it may be time to think about one of those home equity lines of credit, so we can get all the windows replaced with energy-efficient ones. What we have now are the originals, true divided-light windows, which are basically just sieves with some glass in there.

Yep...windows are the greatest energy loss.

I'm sure you talked to him...how does he like the heat?

First timers to Arizona usually say it's not bad....although the older I get the less I can agree with that statement.,,,
He taught there 2 summers ago as well. Every time I talk to him he's busy. lol. He didn't say much about the heat, but it gets pretty hot here too. :)

Andria...is there a company near you named Window World?

Reason I ask, they have bargain basement pricing and are just as good as Anderson or Milgard at half the price.

I'm a thermographer, I can see the temperature emitting from shitty windows, Window World windows are just as good as the expensive, in regard to heat gain.

Looks like there is one, yes, but it's in Marietta, quite a long way from us -- that's about as far NW of Atlanta, as we are NE. The reviews that are showing on Google aren't very good. And the reviews on Yelp are fucking HORRIBLE. No, we won't be using a company as unprofessional as that.
