Nobody mentioned Tuscan Reserve.

Ok,,,Tuscan Reserve.......
I get a floral, sweet, very light spice with this one.
Another that is Highly concentrated, I use it @ 1% or less.
Again here... not a strong "Tobacco" presence at all for me, but less than 1% and I get the aroma of a fresh opened pack of Marlboro Red cigs.
( Not the actual smoking part... just the smell of a pack of cigs if that makes sense ? )

I guess I should also state that I am a fan of the "Less is More" school of thought.
I really dont care for strong Mixes..... Most of my recipes never total over 10 -12% and alot are less than 5%.
With that in mind I am sure when I say I like Tuscan Reserve @ 1%, there will be many who use twice that amount and are perfectly happy that way.
But I will say anything 3% or over with the FA "Tobacco" concentrates I've tried over power me and become gross to my taste.
Which is great cuz it makes those small bottles go a LONG way... Lol !:D

As Always....
Just MHO, and MMV.........

I agree Blue......

Was just throwing my experience out there for those who maybe interested in those flavors.
When I bought them I was under the impression they would be Nice as Stand-Alone Tobaccos... in fact one review I read suggested mixing @ around 5% !
( I still have that 10mls of Cam Blend, and use IT as a concentrate...lol )
Just wanted to post my experience so someone doesn't handle these flavors like they would Ry4 Dble..... Mix @ 10%, Shake n Vape !o_O

Be Well SB......
(More Coffee !) :)

see, that is the "thang".. some can be used as a flavor, while yet still be used as an additive..
most dont know it, or don't post they use it in a recipe.. why i dont know.. vinegar is in this category too..

but i find that when i vape things that are just straight flavor, i get so bored..
i want my juices to pop, to make me smack my lips and beg for more!

flavors are good, but when care is taken to find the right additives.. my vape world is all good :)

and yes, i have seen some strange % #'s for fa, vz, and most other stronger flavorings.. gota get giggles.. ;)

For me Tuscan Reserve at 2% is a well balanced mild cigar flavor. I get a mixture of dark tobaccos and more exotic eastern tobaccos. Light smokiness, light pepper, mild cedar and mild sweetness but it does have a caramel undertone. Very realistic to its namesake little Italian cigars but favoring the aroma of the cigar vs burning cigar smoke though not completely void of a smoke experience. My go to straight tobacco. I make sure to never run out.

That's a great description, RyGon. You ought to copy that over to the DIY Reviews subforum.

When Cuban Supreme is too light for me, I like Tuscan Reserve. To me it's just one step up on the tobacco strength scale, still mild enough for me.

I mixed up cuban supreme for the first time the other day at 2%. It's strange to me - bit like vaping hay! Not unpleasant, just a 'why would I want to vape this?' sort of taste:eek:

I get that taste too at lower than 3% Amanda, but I'd do get a tad of vanilla to. My latest try with CS, I went 3% and added 1% Vanilla Classic. The tobacco is still weak to me but still a good vape.

Something I've been doing lately and since I know you're a REO girl, I've been filling my squonk bottle with the above mix, and switching up by dripping a Burley/Black Fire mix every so often. I'm enjoying going back and forth between the two flavors this way.

My so far only REO has become a tobacco device. I Seriously need to get a couple more REOs!!!

The word pepper puts me off, I also do not care for a floral in a baccy or spices - guess I am a boring vaper lol;)

Don't have Vanillin ATM, so hoping I can sub tiny bit of FA Vanilla Classic instead?

Also, can you remind me again what ACV does to ejuice as an additive? I've never used it before.

vanilla classic wont do what vanillin can..
if you dont have it, leave it out..
if you want that cream in your tobacco, add it :p

acv adds a pop, a shine if you might say.. it helps flavors blend in a bit better.. ;)
kind of like vape wizard, but not so much like it..

@Thunderball When I made that recipe last week the smell was "off" a bit but I didn't taste it.
It was a week before I tried it so I don't know if it needs a week to steep or if it is good to shake and vape.
Let us know if you try it out.

I have a tough time getting past the green leaf tobaccos in FA's cigar flavors. For FA cigarette tobaccos, Maxx Blend is probably my preference. Other decent choices include Shade, 7 Leaves, and Royal.

Hehe, just found some FA Virginia that I mixed -- and never tasted. Guess that's one approach to successful steeping...

I'm not familiar with the term green leaf tobaccos. Is it a non-cured tobacco flavor? Like grassy?

Vaping it now, without the Vanilin or ACV since I have neither. It is pretty darn good, thank you! Really liking how the Cuban Supreme tames down the floral notes I get so much from the other two. I'll be taking this to work tomorrow!

I'm curious how this would be after a couple weeks steep too, so will mix another bottle to stash away, but it's really good shake/vape.

So I know I'm a bit late here, really busy lately. As far as a blue raspberry flavors, I made a simple
15% blueberry extra tfa
5% raspberry tfa
6 drops/10 ml la tart and sour

Really gave me a blue raz slushee thing. As far as a cigar thing, this is from a guy named fit simulation over in Mordor It it totally slamming (Jason imitation coming) Hurry! Go make this now! This shit is awesome! No seriously it's really good.

9% cohiba Chinese blend at RTS
5% 7 leaves ultimate FA
3% caramel Cap
1% em

I usually make this 50/50, and also sub DDL for.the caramel sometimes. RTS is the only place to get that particular cohiba, and I've never subbed that part because it is distinctive I think.

I was just thinking I haven't played with the alcohol flavors yet. Any recipes you guys love with Brandy or Jamaican Rum?

HIC has a bunch of them in the recipes forum!
I looked through his creamy cocktails and I actually have overdosed on really creamy stuff lately and was thinking maybe something more refreshing. Does he have another cocktail post?

2% White Peach
1% Mandarin
1% Amber
1% Brandy

Aint too shabby. Im gonna double it.

Yeah thats better, but which one is turning soapy?

Probably 4% White Peach. LOL

...needs a maraschino.

3% White Peach
2% Brandy
1.5% Mandarin
1.5% Amber
0.5% Cherry

I might have to try this with the rum next. I get the brandy flavor but its kinda funky.

Hey we are pretty close.

I can't decide if I want to switch it over to the Jamaican Rum. I want a significant alcohol taste but the brandy is getting a little strange at 2%.

That would be good but probably a completely different recipe.

I do see how a tiny bit of menthol would be good in this for that chilled drink effect. All I have is peppermint and I don't want to end up making another candy cane.

That will have to wait at least until I make a 30ml.

That strange taste went away after a few hours. I image the brandy must mellow as it ages. I'm kinda addicted to this at the moment. Hits the spot after a week of malts.

Yea super crappy smoky. You wanna hear the worst part? She had just turned 20 which means.........just dropped.from.our dental.plan! Bye bye 2k! On a total tangent of a tangent, how the hell can I have 11 mods, 8 rba, enough flavors to fill a bathtub, half a freezer of nic and a pile of shoeboxs full of shit as tall as me and still have a three pages list of stuff I "need"?
