F F F FACK ! I hate when that happens . I bought one 10ml bottle of each Flavor Art flavor now I am in the process of buying all large bottles because the next thing I would be saying is I have run out. ACK in never ends but with big bottles I should be good for the winter hopefully and not have to wait 3-6 weeks to get a flavor.

Not in this thread, and not in the other thread that I recall!
Oh I see. The prices are very attractive at PureVapes for flavor samples but PV doesn't seem very active anywhere. I wonder how fresh the rebottled 3mls are.

I've bought quite a lot from them and never had a problem with any flavor. They used to be much more active, but I suspect their B&M is keeping them very busy nowadays.

Just dropping in to say...

After reading several posts from HIC, wwlmc and many frequent posters (including the OG thread too), I bought several samples from PV. With all these recipes floating about, it was a no-brainer to get this little FA order. Aside form their tobaccos, I'll likely just order every flavor from PV. I previously had not a ton of luck specifically with FA, so I have a nagging suspicion that will change now -- plus, I finally got it through my noggin that too much flavoring was the root of my mixing woes. As my hand becomes more deft, I can't wait to experience all the possibilities with new-to-me flavorings. I look forward to reading more and possibly contributing.

This is what I bought for the first round from PV.

Dark Bean (Espresso)
Jamaican Rum
Caramel
Mango
Bilberry
Cinnamon Ceylon
Magic Mask
Lemon Sicily
Apricot
Butterscotch
Vanilla Tahiti
Vienna Cream
Brandy
Amber
Custard
Marzipan
Apple Pie
Catalan Cream

Thats interesting, I started with FA and haven't used anything else. What were the negatives that you experienced and how did that compare to other flavoring companies?

I was coming from a pretty extensive background in NETs, so I had a tough transition when trying to make synthetic tobaccos meet up with my prior flavor-familiarity and comfort level. Since I have broadened, or maybe even simplified, my palate, I have come to appreciate a different flavor profile (though it's still under construction. LOL). Before I was focused on tobaccos and turned to FA for that, but I have since (almost totally) moved away from making my own tobaccos. The best luck I had with tobacco mixes came from Inawera, but now I want more lively flavors. I currently use more Capella than anything else for desserts/other-than-tobacco liquids (and it's decent), but it occurred to me that I had written off FA based on a few of their tobaccos when it wasn't really a fair assessment considering what I was trying to emulate (not to mention my percentages were way too high).

I only have a few other FA flavors currently that I hadn't even thought about using until lurking in you all's writing, but tonight I just gave a quick mix with some FA Fresh Fig (3%) and some TFA Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (1.5%) @ 65% VG; 6 mg/mL. So far so pleased!

Edit: Liking it even more since I hit the reply button!!! Hopefully it stays this way or even gets better (though I think that TFA could maybe go down a smidgen under 1.5% to boost the Fig a touch more). Either which way, it's just a sketch.

Nikhil has never posted here, at least knowingly. His partner Ben did post once or twice in the old thread, simply because I think we had weighed them down, lol!

Pure Vapes doesn't have their own B&M. They do a lot of business with one in town that is very close to where Nikhil lives. When I was ordering pre-made juice from him, they'd drop it off there, or mail it to me. It was always a fun reason to hang at the shop, get to know other vapers and learn more. Many times I'd pop in Ben would be in there, sometimes, Nikhil, too. Now when I order from him, it's DIY stuffs :) He drops off or mails to me, still. They's good people.

I'm glad to hear that you are giving FA another try! Our tastes change, our taste buds change, we get tired of a flavor profile. It is so good to know that with diy we can do whatever we want. Have fun with it!

I use Liquid Amber, Citrus Mix, and Papaya. Forest Fruit is pretty popular. Looks like a good list to me.

Oh ok adding to my list:D

I think you need Hazelnut and Torrone, too. Hazelnut for your coffee, torrone to candy some fruits. If you like lime flavors in general, it's a good idea to get both of FA's (very different) lime flavors.

IMO, FA's Black Cherry tastes more natural than TFA's version, and it sure makes an awesome cherry Coke (real or to vape).

You have a great looking list of flavors there.

TFA - Their cranberry sure goes well with FA Pomegranate, and it's a fun holiday flavor to mix with.
If you avoid custard notes, ignore this line, but their Molasses is irreplaceable for great spice cookies.

My TFA Milk Chocolate tastes like water straight from the bottle.

Better Chocolates are out there, FA is good.
INW Chocolate Cream pretty good.

I don't like any of TFA's chocolate flavors, no matter what I do to them.
IMO, anyone willing to experiment a little can get vastly better results with FA Cocoa and Chocolate (not one or the other, but both), TFA's premixed acetyl pyrazine, and various optional additives (nuts, especially). (my Ferrero Roche recipe is nearly done...good chocolate flavor there)

INW Chocolate cream was better to me than their Milk Chocolate (gag), but too much cream/butter (errr...diacetyl/subs?) for me and not enough chocolate flavor.

HIC, I think you suggested putting some Cardamom in with White Peach, ages ago. It took me a while to get round to trying it because I enjoy the White Peach solo a lot, but yeah, it's a great mix! I'm vaping it at something like 4% peach, 2.5% cardamom :)

TBH I'm not sure of the actual %s... it is a 3:2 ratio though, and I like the White Peach strong :)

Your FA Coconut wants in on that action!

TFA Holiday Spice for nutmeg flavor.
TFA Cinnamon Red Hots if you want to vape that hot candy flavor.

Nature's Flavors for the best ginger.

Anise flavor, either TFA's Absinthe or FA Anise - identical flavor ingredient, possibly different base, taste/measure the same

FA for Cinnamon Ceylon, Clove, Cardamon

If you have all those, you sure won't need any premixed Chai flavor! You can do a much tastier chai yourself.

Ooh, that sounds interesting! This evening's test mix... think I'll start low with the coconut; still want the bright crispness of the white peach at the fore :)

totally MY opinion, as someone who can't handle strong pipe/cigar type tobaccos. Dark Vapure lives in seclusion in my garage. I wish I never bought CamT (Cam Blend, CamTel...) - tastes like sandalwood oil used in massage therapy. I've never tried Cigar Passion. All the others, I've gotten some use out of, at least as tiny but meaningful additions to other tobaccos. 7Leaves and Maxx are the lightest FA has, very light tobaccos, IMO. With the ones you've listed, I recommend Black Fire to add a realistic smoke exhale. I use a little of that with every tobacco blend I mix (unless I have Latakia in it, which has its own very smoky aura).

Thumbs up on adding the nut flavors. FA has great nuts :D. Grape Concord is hard to work with, but it works well with other dark fruits you've mentioned are on you list. Wait...did you have BlackCurrant? If you don't have that one, I think it's much more useful than Grape Concord. Ideally, just get both, of course.

I already have Torrone and Black Currant - did not really want lime but may be useful in some recipes not enough to buy both ugh. But added the FA Black Cherry and Black Fire so now need 26 more FA flavors I think that should do it.;) Of the TFAs - Vanillin 10% PG, Apple Candy, Cranberry (may get a bigger bottle),Holiday Spice, and last but not least Banana Nut Bread:D
And TY for your help with the baccys I figure you and I are close in what percentages we like and I do not like strong flavored baccys, I have the percentages somewhere lol just have to find them LOL:rolleyes:
I do not care for Ginger so will hold off on buying that besides where would I get NF from?:)
