It's true! Lol! And to assure that I'll be making barrels of this delicious nectar, I went straight to Nature's Flavors and ordered big bottles of ginger and malt! :D

@Teresa P - if you remember, would you let us know how long their shipping took when it arrives? It's been a long time since I ordered directly from them.

I surely will. They're located in California according to their phone #, and I paid for priority shipping, but that doesn't mean they threw it in a box as soon as I paid...ha! (Would be nice though!) If their claim on their website is true, and everything really is "made fresh to order", then ships in 2-3 business days, I'm probably going to be lucky if it goes out by Friday.....good thing I have a scant few mils of each to at least make a decent batch before they get here.
I am really thrilled over this, you have no idea! :thanks:

This is the oatmeal creme pie you're looking for. Also one of the few by HIC that's a bit too strong for me out of the gate. I've been mixing this at 5% total flavoring and it is awesome as a shake and vape. It's a perfect flavor match.

I find a box of these cookies in my pantry every couple of weeks or so and they don't last long. No idea how they get there.

@HeadInClouds, I am most pleased to report that my Nature's Flavors order arrived today, a mere four days after placing the order....:D
Now....where did I leave that big blue barrel for oatmeal cream pie....:bliss:
I can't wait to join you in Oatmeal Creme Pie bliss! I made up the flavoring bottle but haven't mixed yet. Hoping I love it as much as you do!:stars:

Thanks for letting us know. That is by FAAAR the fastest I've heard anyone receiving an order from Nature's Flavors! Maybe they just knew who they were dealing with ;).

I've already raved directly into HIC's ear about that Oatmeal Creme Pie, so he already knows where I'm at. I bought some Little Debbie's today and the only difference flavor-wise is that the cookies are sweeter (plus you gotta chew 'em, which is such a hassle). If the juice recipe was any sweeter though, I don't think it would work as well. I actually ate one of the cookies while I was vaping this earlier. I can only describe the experience as "a total mind fuck." :giggle:

Apple Strudel Tobacco is finally in the bottle, and I ain't touching it for a week. That's 7 days, right? Right. I can do this.

Don't be. They can pleasantly surprise you.

+1

Back in the day when it was perfectly acceptable to smoke anywhere in public, I used to frequent a tobacconist at my local mall called The Tinder Box. They had a small environment-controlled room at the back of the store where you could find all of their cased tobacco and expensive cigars. Although the room was sealed off and had its own little glass door, you could smell the tobacco from outside the store. Even as a non-smoker today, plain old moist tobacco is still one of my favorite aromatics. Throw in a bit of peach, apple, or maple, and hoo boy.

I'm relatively certain it's impossible to replicate those exact aromas in vapor, but it's been so long since I've smoked a premium cased tobacco (and even longer since The Tinderbox closed its doors for good), I'm content to do the best I can with what I've got and call it close enough. HIC's Apple Strudel Tobacco is already smelling less like straight-up apple and more like its name even after just one day of resting.

There are all sorts of possibilities for tobacco flavorings. Banana/caramel tobacco, peach/pear tobacco, chocolate/hazelnut tobacco... With the right tobacco flavoring, you can literally throw just about anything in there with it and make it work. This is my first time mixing with both SOHO and Shade, and my nose is telling me I'm going to have a bunch of fun experimenting with these two!

Does anyone know where else besides Nature's Flavor & High Desert Vapes to buy Nature's Flavors?
I want to get NF Malt & NF Ginger for HIC's Oatmeal Cream Pie.
High Desert Vapes doesn't have Ginger & Nature's Flavor only has Priority Mail option for $7.85. Thanks!

To my knowledge, that's it. I used to get both from High Desert, but they stopped carrying them.

Apple Strudel Tobacco is very nice. I did have a little sample at the 3-day mark, and there was definitely more tobacco flavor going on. It's balanced nicely after a week and AGAIN I find myself wishing I'd made a bigger bottle so I can see what it does after 2-3 weeks (cuz this little 15ml bottle is gonna be empty by Monday morning).

For @Heartsdelight and others curious, I'm going to classify this as an apple vape instead of a tobacco one. The apple is prominent on inhale, but the tobacco flavorings provide a nice bittersweet finish that reminds me of how I remember the smell of flavored and cased tobacco. Aftertaste brings to mind Middleton Apple B&M's or similar cigar-ish product rather than nasty old cigs, which is a good thing.

The vapor trail had my girl (fruity vapes only) asking me what it was. Naturally I told her it was a tobacco mix so I could keep it all for myself. :D

Sounds interesting. I'm still looking for a recipe for Monsoon. I vape it standalone all the time, but I would love to have a recipe. I have the Stormy Smurf recipe, but am still missing a couple of ingredients. I'm definitely open for suggestions.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Where can I found reviews and ratings for hics mixes -recipes?

I love Monsoon all by itself or with vanilla/creamy flavors. But it's hard to mix with! It always stands out distinctly, rather than blending in or complementing the rest of a recipe. You wouldn't believe how many failures I've had with this one. I haven't given up on finding flavors it'll cooperate with, but those probably won't be FA.

My first DIY mix is Banana Tiramisu. So glad I chose this one. A delicious, successful start to DIY thanks to HIC!

Congratulations on starting DIY! Have you been using vendor liquids or are you new to vaping?
