Xxx mode and adjust the FSK Curve. Dial it in and she vapes just as well as any one of the many DNA'S I own.

Yeah, day 2 and being a little further along on the learning curve definitely saw much better results. I'm not really much of a TC guy to begin with, but i did get my 316 SS coil dialed in to a fairly favorable vape. Still tweaking around with the Kanthal tho.

First time messing with 26650 batts too (Black Basen). I do like the extra mah. This door though.......

Just picked up an Aromamizer. Absolutely loving it on the Slice. Great flavor and pretty easy to build and wick. My only complaint is its a bottom fill tank. Guess I'm going to have to break down and pick up a couple of Supremes, maybe few Supreme Lites as well. Doots RY4 is just amazing in here.

That does look good...I'd be interested in your thoughts on a comparison of the supreme and boreas if you do get a supreme.
@Mazam put tape on the door to eliminate the clickyness. I works great, although I think Ducesjacks doors settled in with time/use.

Yeah, I'm probably picking up 2 Supremes and 2 Lites in the near future. True, after about a week I have absolutely no door rattle or wiggle but I'm still kind of dissapointed with the paint on the black one. Suprisingly the red one's paint is holding up much better. I so wish someone would make a silicone sleeve for this mod. If any mod ever needed a silicone sleeve it's this one.

Yea a sleeve would be nice, but it would hide my new Jwrap that is on it's way:D
I was about to jump on the sup lite myself until I saw the difference in deck size from the regular supreme. I do like the size of the lite tank. Like the boreas, the supreme is supreme in size.

Nice @MercuryVaper

I was just on jwraps site checking out some wraps. When are you getting yours? Remember, pics or it didn't happen :D
They just sent notification today, sooo, soon I hope. Pics will follow. I'm going to use the wrap as a template so I can do a carbon wrap on my other slice.

I have both tanks. I bought the Boreas first because it was only $20 shipped on sale, and i'm always a sucker for trying to go the cheapest route. Not a bad tank by no means, but coughing up the extra dough on the Supreme ended up being the move i wish i had done from the start. Better overall flavor, less prone to leaking, ectt. I've bought a lot of shit, and the Supreme is one of the select few i didn't question after-the-fact. Great buy.

Actually just got my second today from Fasttech. 10 days to Florida. Lottery win right there lol.

I guess I'll have to break down and get one soon. If it has better flavor than the boreas, it will be quite a tasty vape.

Do you both have the 7ml Supreme? I got the 4ml thinking the smaller the tank the better the flavor but it is not as smooth of a draw than the Boreas. Better built, yeah definitely but better vape, not so far as the draw is not as smooth and the flavor is about the same. I have redone my coils a few times as well, my first try I got a lot of gurgling with the Supreme, moved the coils up and the gurgling is gone but still not a smooth draw. I have seen a couple of other people mention gurgling with the Supreme, I am now wondering if maybe they have the 4ml as well and it is just a problem with that version of the tank.

I'm pretty sure you already know but here goes anyway. I have quite a few 7ml Supremes and don't have any gurgling. They are my favorite RTA's. I don't have any in the 4ml size so I can't compare them.

Cheers,
Steve

Well l am in the Slice club :stars:It is here and l am using now! Tiffany Blue LE. Thanks everyone for the info on this and the g2 thread, it made operation a breeze. An occasional rattle on the battery door but nothing to write home about. Fire button looks like the revised version, no sticking. Very happy l am :D

Yeah, I am just trying to convince myself to NOT buy the 7ml version......this hoarding has gotten out of hand :D

I only have the 7ml version as well, so can't really comment much on gurgling other then stating that mine never do. Both running fairly straight forward dual vertical coils.

Think i'm doing a 180 on this Slice after a week of use, and wanting to buy my own (i'd prefer a black LE) if i saw another decent sale. Preferably at least including the upgraded fire button.

Keep in mind the Hohmtech company line is only 2% have a sticky firing button. Once they were made aware all existing stock in their possession was fixed. So the only way you get an older version with that faulty button is getting old stock from a vendor other than Vapor Cube. The chances of that happening are slim since most places sold out on pre order. Just an FYI.

If you have the old button you can email hohmtech and they will send you a new button and a link on how to replace it yourself.

I saw that. But while it's one thing to look past this annoying door, it's another (to me at least) to also settle on a blue color i don't like. I only use and keep 2-3 devices around at a time. So i can be kinda anal on stuff like that :)

Just did it today. Great customer support. Emailed Cloudy vapor (where I bought it) and got a reply in about 15 min with the email contact at Hohmtech. Emailed them and got a response within 5 minutes. Will have a new button soon.

I'm sure they wouldn't leave you button-less. They have some of the best customer service in the vape game right now.

I think they had some hiccups at first but they have really stepped up. The customer service has been great so far and I hope they survive the FDA BS as I want to see more products with the FSK chip.

I hate to say it because I am a fucking cheapskate but I would pay more for a mod with the FSK chip but better built. I do think the Slice is a deal for the performance it provides but would have paid more for something that is built like a tank. I haven't had a bad experience with both of my slices though but I do baby those bastages based on what others have reported.

I think Hohm tech has something real great on there hands, they just need to simplify the interface and have better QC. For me it is a coin flip for the best chip on the market, the FSK or the DNA, there both different but exceptional in there own way.

I'd love to have the FSK in the same form factor and quality as the stout.

The mods would have to be out in the next 10 days or we won't be able to legally buy them unless the FDA regs are overturned and or modified (8-8-16). It's a sobering thought to think we (USA) won't be able to buy anything that isn't out by then.

I am crossing my fingers and toes that hohm gets the fsk chip into higher end devices. I am not much for paying crazy amounts for my mods besides the triade dna200 but would spend the same amount for something as high quality with the fsk chip.

Thanks Steve, now I am bummed and have to work tomorrow

Just kidding, not about the bummed part but about you making me that way.

Your right, the clock is ticking. I am starting to feel like richard banner or beuford banner, whoever the hell turns into the hulk with how much bullshit this is.

Fuck these assholes who are trying to kill the one thing that has finally got me off of cigs and kept me off for 2 years. It really gets my blood boiling with how they would rather see us killing ourselves rather than lose taxes. ...FUCKING ASSHOLES

When I think of all the old baseball cards that we use to put on our bike spokes to make noise:eek:. If I had all the cards from when I was a kid (in mint condition) I'd be rich. That's the secret, unless they are mint, they aren't worth crap. Heck, we use to carry our cards everywhere back then. We bought them to enjoy, not store in a closet though.

Only a select few cards are worth any real money nowadays, the market fell apart long ago unfortunately.
