Hmm. Guess I was hallucinating. Yesterday they had the G2 for sale at Black Mvrket, standard and limited. Now...poof...wtf. Never ordered from this place before, are they legit?
They are an authorized retailer of hohm tech. I ordered from ecig.com. love ordering from them. They have the best customer service and ship really quick.
Supposedly they were selling them at the booth in Miami last week. I haven't seen them go up on their page yet. I'm a little leary buying from Vapor Shark since I've heard horror stories about them as well.

This is getting weirder. Ecig.com now says out of stock. But using the link from webcrawler I can add the silver G2 to the cart for $73 ($77 with shipping).

Ecig doesn't even show the g2 on there site anymore. Hmmm that's interesting. Maybe I got the last one
I verified the purchase using their chatbox. Something strange is going on, maybe Hohmtech raised hell about the low price.
Black Mvrket had a few of each color yesterday, now it's not on their website either.

Spoke to BlackMvrket, they actually do have some. Said they are having a "glitch" in their system. They have red, orange, and silver in standard and limited edition. In case anyone is interested in getting one of these at a very good price...

I didn't think to ask or verify when I talked to them, but yesterday it was $75. I had tried calling them before placing an order with ecig, but it was before 9am pacific, and they returned the call later after I had bought the silver one. So just out of curiosity I got the story on why they are not on the website today and what they still had available. The number is 562-364-8537 and apparently for the time being the G2 has to be ordered over the phone.

That's good to know, still can't beat the sale price from ecig. During the Memorial day weekend, I got mine for $58. Now I'm waiting for the 4th of July weekend.

Well I didn't look hard enough when searching for a G2. They can be had for $49.99 LE or standard, at VaporCube with code WRECKER130OFF. May have to just get the color I wanted and have a spare.
Make sure it's a G2 and not the original Wrecker.

Thank you. This is why I often post what I'm thinking about, be it purchase, coil build, or whatever. Has saved my bacon more than a couple times. 
Got my g2 today! Wasn't suppose to be here til tomorrow. Instantly slapped some tanks on and vaped it. Threw on my herakles plus, went to kanthal tc, left fsk at 50% and it fired no issues but turned the temp down to 350 and up to 500 and it feels absolutely no different
Turn down that FSK until you find the vape you like. Once it's dialed in its awesome. Don't forget to reset the resistance when you switch attys. Just hit the fire button till it says no atomizer.

Forget all those other settings. Put it into XXX mode and for Kanthal try 2% to 6% and SS 12% to 17% FSK. If the vape is too hot then turn down the FSK and not hot enough turn it up. There is a learning curve but if I can get it than anyone can.
Did xxx mode and threw it at 2.2 and it was a little cool. Bumped it 2.8 450 degrees and 60 watts... never tasted soo good! This mod is a winner for sure. How do you upload pics? I clicked on the upload file icon but says my pictures are too big
Right click the image in your PC folder and click edit. Then click Edit and then resize by percentage, then use 60% and save it....then upload it.
Had some stuff laying around so decided to do some customizing. I really do like this mod and it actually is quite comfortable. I wasnt sure how id like the silver but its ok actually.
I did the same on my Snow Wolf...I would do it to my G2 but I have the Red G2 and Red CF Wrap...wouldnt look that good...

That looks very good. I have a silver one on the way and will do that also. Where did you get the carbon fiber? Is it adhesive backed, cut and stick stuff?
Been searching for some adhesive back carbon fiber, but so far what I'm finding is "metalized vinyl" or they just say vinyl. Was thinking I wanted real carbon fiber...

I bought it about a year and a half ago from autozone. Wrapped some things in my car with it and had some left over so pulled the battery door off, peeled the carbon adhesive section off, laid the battery door on it and smoothed it out. Then cut it
So why are ecig only selling them by phone? Why the super low price all of a sudden? For months and months you couldnt get a used one for under $100 and now you can get brand new ones for $70. Wonder what happened to let the price drop in half across every site.
Thanks. I found some real carbon fiber "samples" that are 4" x 4". Would the 4" fit the G2 heightwise? Dimension for height is 105mm or 4.13 inches so it would be close.
Ecig has been that low for a while. As far as I'm aware you can't buy them with ecig at all anymore. Blackmvrket you can buy over the phone

Was wondering if a 4" piece would be too short and leave a gap at the top and bottom. But I'll find out, G2 will be here tomorrow and the real carbon fiber next week.

I've ordered from fasttech and checked the wait. Batteries take about 2 and half months to get here 
It's crazy! I think what they do is try to recoup some profit from the shipping cost. I contacted liion and IMR about shipping to me in Newfoundland, Canada and it was around $35 I believe for $7 batteries. I contacted ecig to get a G2 and they won't ship to Canada at all but thanks to one kind user here, they ordered me one and when they received it were able to ship it for $10!!

This firmware update process is ridiculous. I can't get the fucker updated. Really makes me want to beat the shit out of somebody. I think raymo posted something on how to do it, but I can't find it in the 20 pages of this thread. Probably just missed it, but if anyone has a post number or page number I would really appreciate it. Thx
Alby what are you having trouble with? Also are you using Windows 10?
For me it was as simple as go to the website. Download the updater. Open the updater by extracting all the files and what not. Then downloading the firmware version 2.5.5 and opening it in the updater and away it went. Super easy but I have heard problems with some
