Yeah out here is dessert...... I would never try to catch a rattle snake...... Imagine getting bit and you are hours away from any assistance....

Mountains behind us go forever...... Wild Javalina, Rattlers, Quail, Scorpions, Tarantula, Cactus...... You have no idea how dangerous it is until you are out there in a 115 degree day......

In AZ is the only place they have an anti-venom bank. They "milk" the snakes to make it. It is thin rubber stretched over a cup. They let it pierce the rubber membrane and the cup fills with venom. Then the lab uses it to prepare the anti-venom. They can ship it on a plane in an emergency anywhere in the lower 48 in a couple hours max. It is imperative the patient gets the anti-venom asap. The longer the wait the less effective it is. Believe it or not a Rattler is not nearly the most potent snake. That belongs to the Black Mamba. If bitten they must amputate the limb to prevent the spread and imminent death of the patient. If bitten on the trunk, certain death. All venom is an anticoagulant and tissue destroyer. So you just bleed out as your skin rots away. Amazingly some brazen idiots keep Black Mamba in the pet trade. It either ends in one of two ways always. Either the idiot is killed or the authorities take away the snake. It is not even legal for us to keep one. If found, unfortunately they must be destroyed. Native only to South Africa. Big problem for people there getting into homes and stuff. Never confront a snake! I was certified to catch them but never cornered them. That is rule #1. Extremely dangerous stuff there. Even a Rattle snake will kill in quick order. However Black mamba 1 drop can kill 1,000 people. If in water supply or something like that. It is imperative they get the anti-venom as quickly as possible. The longer the wait the less effective it is plus the more damage done. Organs start shutting down quickly. If bitten by a rattle snake on the finger and they get anti-venom quickly there is a good chance they even keep that finger. Not so with Black Mamba. Lose arm. It's cousin the Green Mamba is plenty poisonous but not like the Black one. Just do not mess with these critters. Scorpions of all but on variety not in AZ are unlikely to kill. They are kept as pets legally. Sold in almost every pet store. Not incredibly poisonous but rather not get stung. Here in WI or IL most hospitals only have water moccasin anti-venom if that even. Be careful with those critters. See, walking in the desert minding your own business and accidently step on one. Plus the heat alone will kill if lost and dehydrated. Just figured a little lesson if you did not already know all of this.

That's really nice and woody ... I just think we need to leave square boxes behind.... That's why I don't get any square boxes......

After a day or two I never use them again....they seem uncomfortable to me.......

But you got a nice looker..... If it's the original from Augvape......

Some Gragas were made original by Augvape, but then some new ones turned out to be clones from the original Augvape design.........

The best thing I suggest is going to the first page when I started this thread.....

And begin with page (1) and read through the thread ..... You will see several people and myself begin the process of polishing a Stabwood mod......

I have hundreds of pictures on the materials and the stages of creating a beautiful mod......

Yeah start with low micromesh.... Around 3,000 and slowly up to 4000 ,5000, 6000 and all the way up to 12000 grit......

It takes time... don't rush....... As I said take the time to read and you will see several mods and the materials used......

You also have some mods in between and some talking shit....

We bullshit a lot on this thread .....

I didn't buy the micro polishing pads yet- been busy outside getting gardens into shape.

Yep I’m still working a a few them. I won’t be touching the VA and Minikin Boost. The finis is already looking great.

I took your advice and I’m laying more finish on them. And they really look great.

Once they start shinning, a layer here and there of Poly and a Polishing here and there it's all that's required......

Keep it up post some images of your work !

It's definitely super lightweight. I really like it. May stain it in another pattern at some point. I have some black cherry stain that looks almost purple. But this is pretty dark already

The color is nice..... I would sand it down with 320 and hit it with (5-8) coats of Poly and she would look real nice...... After the poly hit her with 10000 micro mesh and she will be like a mirror......

Manny, I cannot see you in that mirrored building but I am not so keen anymore. We had a Kitty named MR. Meowgi but he passed away. He had a good life he was 22. I wish I could get a Solar Storm DNA C. You folks have so many. I wish a net store had one. I do not understand FB. Plus afraid to give money in a non secure transaction. I do not even have a clue how that all works. No one has to bother explaining it to me. I just do not grasp it.

Glow in the dark is the shizlenit! Freaking awesome. I really want a Solar Storm DNA C but must be cash and carry. Not on FB. Anyone know where I can get one? I think Java is out of my league and no way to get one asap anyways.

Looks very nice......and hand friendly...... I'm eyeballing a Wapari nano...... I'm more into the dark woods....... Don't enjoy Green in mods......

This Solarstorm has a little bit of green....... These are pretty much the colors that are for me....... Even the green in my Osiris..... Minimal.....

got it today, 3 days from Cali, VaporRange. $115

I asked them for as much blue and swirles as possible, and is exactly what I got.
like you say, Manny, the wood is dull'ish, basically "flat". as in NO shine.
this thing is going to look great when all shined up.

see that long thing, that is a polishing tool, and it works well. I tried it on that sample piece of stab.

the texturing on the black, it is nowhere near as pronounced as it looks in those pics. which is good.

I went looking for Sara's , have yet to find it. maybe she will post it again.

this is a nice mod in its own right. the display is great, light weight, nice metal finish. one thing I do wish it had = the Asomdis symbol on the button, and on top.
