LOL- Thanks!
I have a weakness for stabwood!
There was another gal here who had some stabwood mods- Forza, but she no longer posts here.
I hope I am not the only lady here with wood- LOL!
I’m here too!!!

The secret is using the polishing pads..... The Minikin Kodama I got today was flat wood..... I started with 4000 paper and went up to 12,000..... It took me most of the day...... This is without any wax.....Is there any way to put a clear coat on it? I have the Asmodus Ultratoner Thor. The resin is shiny but the wood is matte or something. I want it to be shiny too. Not a temporary fix like wax. The Yihi SL Mini has a nice shiny finish on both the wood and resin.
I’ll post a picture tomorrow. Thanks for any suggestions.

Nice man.... Now is polishing time.......
Wax doesn't shine it, well a small shine, ..... It's supposed to be mainly a protectant....I haven't polished mine yet, but I guess I need these- do not use clear coat! They need to be buff sanded to get that shiny, glassy look.
Plus the "nail file, buffer" Asmodus includes is a polisher- I haven't tried it yet.
Gorgeous colors!!
Well my Asmodus Minikin V2 Kodama K-35 with matching tip arrived and went through the first stage of polishing today.....

Oooops I deleted the pics.
Hey there it goes lol! Thanks
Thanks-Glad Ladies are joining. You are certainly welcome. Sorry for my crudeness before. I know Y'all like those purdy drip tips. Stabwood is the shi.. It looks the best. It is strange what Men and Woman think looks best. I think more Woman maybe did not know about this?
Do you like this one? I've been considering getting it.Wow looks great! Love the color board on it too! You are lucky- awesome!

Yes I like the EOS II very much- feels comfortable to hold and great on battery life.Do you like this one? I've been considering getting it.
I am bummed. Never got colors like you folks. Even with a 1/1. EOS is not "real" stabwood. It is a thin veneer on aluminum frame but I still like it. I am talking about Kodama and Thor though. Thor was a steal at $118. I bought them all, sorry LOL.
I see you have both the EOS I and the II, which do you prefer? Obviously, I’d use my Drag mini for vaping on the go, but I’d love one of these for home use. If I’m going to buy another mod, I think I want something a little nicer than I have now.Yes I like the EOS II very much- feels comfortable to hold and great on battery life.
The only con on this mod is the battery door- I have a hard time with it, but seems to be not so tight the more I use it! Maybe just mine, I have watch reviews and theirs all slide much easier than mine!
Asmodus is having a 30% off sale until 2/1 - Vapor Range has this for a great price too.
Thank you for the advice!I love them both-
The EOS II is more comfortable to hold and I love the full color screen.
The EOS I battery doors are easy to get on and off- but sometimes I can feel movement on them and it has the older Black/White Screen, and the square shape is not as comfortable as the EOS II
The EOSI is on such a great sale so really nice prices on those I paid under $50.00 for each.
If your budget allows- I would get the EOS II- very nice and newer, I don't think you could go wrong with it- Asmodus does show some and so you can choose the exact one you want.
The problems with most sites is they don't show pictures- can't choose the colors you want- yes you can pick a color family like say purple- but they are all different!

Did you see the link- you can choose the EOS II that you want.Thank you for the advice!
He could not fulfill order. nice guy though. I ordered in Uk and will be here next week. I really look forward to this. given the quality I am amazed this is made in China.
Did you see the link- you can choose the EOS II that you want.
Remember a big 30% off sale till 2/1 at Asmodus- quick free shipping too
Vapor Range has both on sale too! Vapor Range is part of Asmodus- quick free shipping too
Plus Asmodus is US based and will fix or replace your mod.

It's called elbow grease brother !30% off Asmodus again. Don't know why they keep doing that but better for us. Manny, I am not sure if that is your photography or they really look that way? None of mine look anything like that. Thor is a deal at Asmodus but the Ultroner has DNA250C limited to 90W. It is better but not worth $100 more for the chip. Plus at 30% off they were like $118. That is an insane steal. Obviously he got the last one. A custom stabwood DNA75C or VA is like $650. I am the one that bought them all, sorry.
Use Butchers bowling alley wax. Does not come off. Will protect and shine. Do not use any other type of wax! Absolutely do not use acrylic lucite! It will coat the wood while melting the resin! It will be a freaking disaster.
VA is too expensive and I do not like what he has now. Not sure if I should order Lustro because it is newer or Kodama because it is more coveted? Certainly ordering again before 30% is over.
Look, I am 81 years old. I had a fucking wet dream last night! In reality I woke up at 4am and puffed my Thor. My D has long since worked. At least everything Asmodus does. If it does not 100% service in America. I say just only buy Asmodus even if you do not get the stabwood. They are the best mods for nothing. The stabwood ones are made 100% in California! The regular ones are Chinese but no worries with USA service.
My partner was away on vacation, so I have been real busy......where is Manny ?
Yours is beautiful.... Don't be lazy and start polishing, the colors are deep in that wood, you think she is beautiful now ...... after several hours you will see the colors begin to pop...... and the wood will become like glass...... It takes effort and watching TV and polishing..... Toilet and polish..... Polish and Polish....That purple is so deep very nice!!!
Thanks. I’m glad I finally received the correct one too!!
Absolutely stunning colors! I think I need to learn how to maintain stab wood properly and how to polish it.The secret is using the polishing pads..... The Minikin Kodama I got today was flat wood..... I started with 4000 paper and went up to 12,000..... It took me most of the day...... This is without any wax.....
The resin that makes the wood shine is in the actual wood.....
The heat is what activates the resin.... Or better said melts some of the resin ...... And the wood absorbs it while you sand........
It takes hours upon hours to get it right and not split the wood..... If you coat the wood with a clear coat it will crack.... Because it can't absorb moisture..... And it dries.....
There are 1000's of YouTube videos that show you how is done.....watch the process on how a Stabwood block is produced and how it's turned into a mod.......
You could not see the colors at the beginning it was dull as hell..... The polishing is what brings the wood alive......

It takes effort.... Look at the first picture the entire mod had that color tone ...... That's why I didn't do the top.....Absolutely stunning colors! I think I need to learn how to maintain stab wood properly and how to polish it.
I was always afraid that I might screw it up.
Is it crazy that I kind of prefer the big chunky EOS I, over the II?
