I want to take a minute to teach you how I help people reverse prediabetes…

The year is 2017.

Health misinformation is rampant.

People were saying anything online to get clicks and views.

And nobody was calling them out on incorrect science.

And feeling overwhelmed with too much information was easy.

In fact, it’s not much different than today.

When it comes to prediabetes, studies suggest that nearly 80% of people in the U.S. don't even know that they have it.

Since 2017, the problem has only grown larger…

…and it’s officially an epidemic now.

It slowly degrades people’s health, and they aren’t even aware.

Our client Pat is a prime example.

She had seen type 2 diabetes wreak havoc in her family, but unlike them, she was determined to avoid the same fate.​

What is prediabetes?
Prediabetes is a condition in which blood glucose levels become slightly elevated, but aren’t high enough to be officially classified as type 2 diabetes.

Think of prediabetes as a warning sign, in which your body is telling you:

“Hey! Your glucose metabolism isn't working well.”

The good news is that it's not too late to take action.

You can think of prediabetes as a yellow traffic light…

It signals to pay attention before progressing to a more severe state.

But what are the symptoms?

And how do you know you’re living with prediabetes?

Let’s learn from Pat’s example, so that you can avoid the same fate.​

Recognizing the silent killers
Most of the symptoms of prediabetes go unrecognized, or often mistaken for the symptoms of aging.

That’s why it’s imperative to be vigilant.

So, when Pat first began experiencing prediabetes symptoms in March 2017, she was both confused and terrified.

Pat had been eating what physicians deemed a “perfect diet.”

Yet, she felt lost because despite her efforts, her energy levels were low, her blood pressure was elevated, she couldn't lose weight, and her blood glucose was slightly elevated.

Pat sunk into a deep depression.

Despite living in a beautiful part of California (what she calls “paradise”), she stopped enjoying her life.

Why?

1. Weight Issues: Pat was 25 pounds overweight.
2. Diet-Related Issues: Despite following a high-fat, high-protein, very low-carb diet, Pat was unable to lose weight. To make matters worse, her diet made her feel sick.
3. Digestive Issues: Pat had difficulty digesting food, and could barely eat without feeling bloated.
4. Hypertension: Pat developed high blood pressure, which was a new issue for her.
5. High Cholesterol: Pat’s LDL cholesterol was high, and her doctor recommended that she start using a low-dose statin.
6. Adrenal Fatigue: Her adrenals were struggling, and this made it a struggle to get out of bed most days.​

Now, those symptoms are merely the “visible” parts of living with prediabetes...
What truly worried me are what I call the Silent Killers.

These are the symptoms that lower your quality of life, reduce your life expectancy, and are largely invisible to you and the outside world.

Like many people living with prediabetes, Pat was experiencing multiple Silent Killers:

1. Low Energy Levels: Pat had dangerously low energy and could not engage in regular exercise, which left her homebound.
2. Depression: Pat experienced deep depression after her diagnosis.
3. Social Isolation: Pat felt isolated and alone because people around her did not understand what she was going through.

The good news is that it wasn’t too late for her to take action to reverse both the symptoms and the Silent Killers.

And guess what’? It isn’t too late for you either.​

Potassium Benefits Women’s Heart Health

New research shows that eating potassium-rich foods can improve heart health. That’s because foods such bananas, avocados, and salmon help counteract the negative effects of salt in the diet and lower blood pressure.

Other potassium-rich foods include a variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans, dairy products, and fish.

"It is well known that high salt consumption is associated with elevated blood pressure and an increased risk of heart attacks and strokes," said study author Liffert Vogt, M.D., professor of clinical nephrology and renal physiology at Amsterdam University Medical Centers in the Netherlands.

"Health advice has focused on limiting salt intake, but this is difficult to achieve when our diets include processed foods. Potassium helps the body excrete more sodium in the urine. In our study, dietary potassium was linked with the greatest health gains in women," Vogt added.

The study included close to 25,000 British men and women between 40 and 79 years of age who were part of a research study between 1993 and 1997. Participants completed questionnaires about their lifestyle habits, and their blood pressure and urine samples were analyzed.

The researchers found that as potassium consumption in women went up, blood pressure went down. Every 1-gram increase in daily potassium was associated with a 2.4 mm Hg lower systolic blood pressure for these women. No link between potassium and blood pressure was found in men.

  • Allergies, colds, flu, and sinus infections: Common triggers for increased mucus production.
  • Lifestyle factors: Dehydration and certain foods can make mucus thicker and harder to clear.

Natural Ways to Manage Throat Phlegm and Mucus



Here are some practical, natural methods to help reduce that sticky discomfort:



Lifestyle Adjustments​

  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water to thin the mucus, making it easier to expel.
  • Humidity Control: Use a humidifier to maintain healthy air moisture levels and soothe irritated tissues.
  • Air Quality: Use HEPA filters to remove irritants like pollen and pet dander from your environment. Avoid smoking and secondhand smoke.
