Hey Jimi,
There are three main ways through which I communicate with you:
My books, my emails, and live presentations/webinars.
And out of these three, I gotta say I enjoy webinars the most.
Why?
Because, through webinars, I get a chance to engage with you directly, talk to you, answer your questions, etc.
This is why I'm happy to announce - that after almost three months...
I'm hosting another free Covid-19 webinar. The previous two webinars attracted attention industry-wide - with thousands of people attending.
And I hope this one will also generate a mountain of response...
Because in this new webinar, we’ll talk about a number of crucial updates - that the media is still NOT getting right, including:

• What is wrong with COVID-19 case counts?

• What have college campuses taught us about the wisdom of opening up vs. shutting down?

• Will the flu shot help prevent COVID-19 or increase the risk of infection?

• Which natural therapies have been shown to outperform the flu shot in reducing seasonal influenza? (The advantages are shockingly superior!)

• What do the early results from remdesivir, monoclonal antibodies, and the COVID-19 vaccines really tell us?

• Are these messenger-RNA vaccines a Trojan horse that may lead to potential health problems?

• What is the best supplement program for prevention? Treatment?

• Why is the FDA moving fast to remove one of the most effective natural products for COVID-19 from the market?

• Why does this virus cause lingering health issues?

• Can anything be done for “long haulers” and those with persistent symptoms due to this virus?
And everything in between + we’ll have a Q&A at the end.
So click here to register for your free spot
I will see you LIVE!
Be well,
mail

Dr. Michael Murray
P.S., the webinar will be recorded. If you can’t watch it live, please register so you can watch the replay. It is FREE too!

Hey Jimi!

In this episode, I am speaking with Dr. Tim Spector, one of the world’s most respected epidemiologists and a man who is in the top 1% of most cited scientists in the world.

Dr. Spector also is in a remarkable position at the moment because he happens to be in possession of some of the world’s best real-time data, collected from his own “ZOE” app that tracks millions of people.

As a result of his deep analysis of this data, along with his incredibly expansive expertise in epidemiology, he has some surprising findings, and many powerful and profound thoughts to share about C19 and the harms of our response to the pandemic.

In this podcast, Dr. Spector and I will discuss:

  • How Dr. Spector’s ZOE app has allowed him to accumulate one of the world’s best data sets on C19.
  • Is the recent lockdown in the UK grounded in good data, or was it a mistake?
  • The danger of removing context and perspective from the C19 conversation.
  • How the politicians and media are exploiting fearand causing unfounded levels of hysteria.
  • The truth about population immunity and antibodies. (And why it’s taboo to talk about this basic science and logic).
  • Dr. Spector’s top advice for how to think differently about what’s happening right now.
  • How to become a ‘citizen scientist’ and take charge of your own health.

You can watch/listen to the podcast HERE

Enjoy!

CALL TO ACTION
Say NO To Forced Coronavirus Vaccine
Immense fear of the coronavirus, along with sweeping government-imposed shutdowns and stay-at-home orders, has crippled entire populations. Authorities now say the only way out is a vaccine for all along with 24/7 tracking and surveillance. Bill Gates, a tech billionaire who uses his wealth and status to influence policy, has gone on record saying that life will not return to normal until we can vaccinate the entire global population against COVID-19. Gates has also suggested that the coronavirus vaccine might become part of routine newborn immunizations. To that end, he is pushing for disease surveillance and a vaccine tracking system that might involve embedding vaccination records into our bodies through quantum dot technology.

Obesity Can Reduce Effectiveness of Heart Drugs

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

Millions of Americans have the potentially dangerous irregular heartbeat known as atrial fibrillation. Now, research suggests that being obese might undercut the effectiveness of certain drugs meant to treat AFib.

The new study followed more than 300 patients listed in the University of Illinois at Chicago's AFib Registry. Researchers found that a class of medicines called sodium channel blockers, which are often used to treat AFib, were less effective in obese patients.

Special: MAGNESIUM: Are You Getting Enough?

In fact, the recurrence rate for the heart arrhythmia was 30% for obese patients taking sodium channel blockers, compared with 6% for non-obese patients.

That could be bad news for many patients, since obesity is a big risk factor for AFib, said a team led by Dr. Dawood Darbar, head of cardiology at the university's College of Medicine.

Still, obese patients may have a viable option: Darbar's team found that another class of drugs, called potassium channel blockers, worked better in obese patients.

Darbar said the new study offers obese patients a route to better treatment, since the obesity epidemic is increasing. He maintained that "having treatment options to better manage AFib would greatly improve quality of life and could prevent the risk of serious complications, like stroke, which can cause early death."

Hi Jimi,

We've been talking lately about the lack of nutrients in our modern food system.

So how specifically do we address this?

Well, there is a way to increase your own health while building your family's overall crisis resilience...

And we all know that is looking more and more important these days as lockdowns and extreme measures continue around the world.

There are few personal actions that can affect in your life in as many positive ways as gardening.

Gardening is a time-honored tradition passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.

If you aren’t already, you can be a part of that tradition, too!

Imagine how you would feel making a huge positive impact on you and your loved ones’ health with all that fresh food.

And what if you could follow a simple, step-by-step garden system that puts clean, inexpensive, fresh-picked vegetables and herbs on your table?

Well, the good news is, it IS possible!

You may remember my friend, colleague, and green thumb genius, Stacey – known for her simple, holistic and proven organic garden system.

Stacey Murphy literally grows TONS of vegetables in just 500 square feet without breaking a sweat. From her unique perspective as a backyard farmer, she shows vegetable growers and homesteaders, both new and seasoned, how to garden quickly and confidently. She trains thousands of teens and adults on how to adopt a thriving garden lifestyle. She proves time and time again that anyone can be a successful grower by following her garden system.

For a limited time, she's offering a complimentary Masterclass, called “Three scientifically proven strategies for an abundant vegetable and herb garden any time of year (in any climate, indoors or outdoors!).”

Watch this Masterclass today, it's totally FREE right now.

The truth is, regardless of what your growing conditions are, Stacey’s workshop can work for you. Because it is designed to help you understand your unique needs and how to make your growing conditions enhance your approach.

You’ll discover:

* What nobody tells you about plants... your plants will LOVE you for knowing this!

* How the concepts of “growing zones” and “growing seasons” actually hold you back from real garden success and what to focus on instead.

* What the heck the Circle of Awesome is, and how to allow it to do the work for you

CLICK HERE to sign up at no charge.

To a healing future,

Rob Herring
Director, The Need To GROW / Earth Conscious Life

P.S. If you’ve been trying for years to start a successful vegetable garden or to simplify the garden system you have, you’ll want to sign up for this! Click here to register for this life-changing Masterclass today.

Today's Motivation:

With everyone posting their major life events on social media, it is now easier than ever to compare your life to people around you. You may feel left behind since you feel you haven't yet achieved the so-called milestones your friends already have. Remember everyone's journeys are different. You don't have to follow the same path as the people around you. Different people have different priorities. Celebrate your achievements and appreciate how far you have come in your journey. Make decisions based on what you want, rather than trying to fit the mold.

Immunity developed from previous infection with endemic coronaviruses reduces COVID-19 severity – study

Hello ,

Did you know heartburn is actually a result of too little stomach acid, and not too much? Low stomach acid is at the root of so many digestive issues, like:
  • Bloating or belching immediately following a meal
  • An excessive sense of fullness after eating
  • Feeling like food sits in the stomach forever
  • Gas after food
  • Iron and B12 deficiency, chronic anemia
  • Chronic constipation
  • Undigested food in the stools
  • Weak, peeling, or cracked fingernails
  • Parasites (especially parasites that come back even after treatments)
  • Chronic intestinal infections
  • History of multiple food allergies and intolerances
This life of painful bloating, uncomfortable gas, and raging heartburn is something Steven Wright knows personally. We introduced him to you recently with his digestive enzymes product, Holozyme. Our community absolutely loved this product, but that’s not the only healthy digestion aid Steven has to offer.
Steven once suffered terribly from daily bloating and gas. It was to the point that his uncomfortable struggle with gas created awkward situations at work, and almost cost him his job.
When conventional doctors told him it was simply genetic, he altered his diet with the help of an integrative practitioner, and poured into thousands of pages of research on digestion himself.
Here’s what he came up with.
The “low acid switch problem”
Stomach acid, or Hydrochloric acid (HCl), is secreted by the stomach to help digest and absorb proteins and other nutrients that we consume in our diet. HCl also serves to protect us by killing various pathogenic microorganisms (parasites, yeast, bacteria) that might otherwise cause infection in the digestive tract.
Sufficiently digested food is key for giving the body the nutrients it needs to function well, including producing hormones.
Low stomach acid, also called hypochlorhydria, is a leading cause of heavy, slow, sluggish, and sour stomachs. Constipation, too. Conventional doctors miss it often.
It’s simple: there’s a "low acid switch" that speeds up digestion (or slows it down). This switch is also the key to complete absorption of nutrients from food. When it’s off, it’s much easier for bad bugs to cause gut dysbiosis.
When it is turned on, it allows for maximum energy, strong nails, and hair growth. Most importantly, it enables reliable, easy digestion.
Facebook Live Replay: Learn how to test stomach acid levels at home
I sat down again with Steven Wright to talk about how you can test stomach acid levels at home, and why stomach acid is so important. Here’s what we cover:
  • How to do the HCl challenge at home (and find out if you are low)
  • Why most people are low in stomach acid
  • Why acid reflux is a sign of low stomach acid, not high!
  • Consequences of low stomach acid; bloating, constipation and food sensitivities
  • How to prevent recurrence of SIBO
  • Difference between enzymes and HCl
  • Why licorice in a HCl supplement
  • Steve’s group-buy for the HB community

BLANK SLATES AND LOST SOULS

I live in a major city, but it wasn't always covered in the houses and condos and retail spaces that fill it now. It used to belong to the First Nations people of the area, the Anishinaabe. I didn't know this about them until recently, but they have one of the most beautiful and noble sets of ethics which they endeavour to live by that I have ever read.

As I was reading through them this week, I couldn't help but draw parallel after parallel between what I was reading and what I have discovered to be absolute truths for me and my life as a result of cancer. I have been inspired for the next few love notes to explore some of these ethics and their connection I feel to lessons cancer has taught me. It truly is in the most challenging of times that we learn some of the most important things that life has to offer us.

"Be tolerant of those who are lost on their path. Ignorance, conceit, anger, jealousy and greed stem from a lost soul. Pray that they will find guidance." - Anishinaabe Code of Ethics

I've talked before about being a serial people pleaser before cancer, and because I was so careful about how I treated others, I took it really personally when I didn't get the same treatment in return from someone. I was reading a philosophical business book shortly after starting Orenda where the author described everyone as a blank slate. You have people who love you deeply, so if someone doesn't like you, it can't be that you are inherently unlikeable; you are a blank slate, and it's the other person who has a problem that they are projecting onto you.

I was instantly transported back to the beginning, shortly after I was diagnosed. I heard someone talking about the importance of forgiveness to physical healing, and it made sense to me that we need to seek forgiveness for wrongs we have committed against others. What hadn't occurred to me yet, however, was that there were perhaps people who I needed to forgive, that there might be hate and anger and hurt that I was holding onto. That was one of the more difficult parts of my healing, trying to let all of that go.

But it couldn't be more important to healing. Hate and anger fester, and if we don't release them, they just get worse, like an infection that won't heal. Understanding that you are a blank slate and that the wrongs people commit against you stem from their own lost soul, these two things make it infinitely easier to feel empathy for them and to release the negative emotions you are harbouring against them. Forgiveness follows easily then.

Take a cue from the Anishinaabe, and instead of continuing to hate whoever it is, say out loud, "I choose to forgive them. I hope that they find guidance". Repeat this every day, until it feels true; you will be lighter, happier, and healthier.
Happy Healing ❤️

Mental Health Monday

The day I was diagnosed was the craziest mix of emotions I have ever experienced. I didn't even know how to move on into the next moment of my evening let alone tackling this mountain that had just been dropped in front of me. We were just getting ready to leave Jesse's parents' house after telling them the news, when one thought popped into my mind: I need to watch Harry Potter. HP contains some of the books that are closest to my heart, and if you know what a prolific reader I am, you will know how significant that is! They are nostalgic to me in the most comforting way possible, and the movies distract me when I need it most, transporting me to an entirely new world. Sometimes we feel equipped to think about and process the emotions we are feeling, but other times it's all just too much, and what we need is to be distracted from going round and round in unhelpful hurricanes of emotion.

For MHM this week, I share what to look for and what to avoid in your watching material when you need to be pulled out of an emotional storm and distracted from the loops of thought running through your head. Sometimes, we just need a break from it all, and that is TOTALLY okay.

Click here to watch it now on the Orenda YouTube channel

Lessons Cancer Taught Me: Year 3

In my first year after diagnosis, I started to have realizations about different things I was learning from cancer: ways I was changing, positive growth I was experiencing, and how my perspective on life was shifting. I started writing them down, and it is something that I continue today. I have started to share my lessons from year three in the Facebook group, so if you have missed any of them, visit the link below to see the most recent one, and then meander through the posts on the group wall to see the others. I will keep posting until I share them all. I hope they speak to you and help you find some pockets of light in your own darkness.

Caramelized Onion and Rosemary Biscuits (GF/DF)

You and your loved ones will absolutely not believe that these decadent biscuits are gluten and dairy-free. They are a perfect accompaniment to any holiday meal. Whether you are celebrating a holiday or not, you can count on one thing: these biscuits will be the talk of the table. The sweet and savory caramelized onions and piney rosemary pair perfectly with the light, fluffy biscuit texture!

Yields: 10 large biscuits

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Clean Southern Cuisine gluten-free flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 2/3 cup palm shortening*
  • 1/2 cup caramelized onions, chopped small
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon fresh rosemary, minced
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon rice milk (plain, unsweetened)
  • 2 large eggs*
Directions:

  1. Place palm shortening in the freezer for 30 minutes to harden.
  2. Whisk the first four ingredients together in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  3. Using a pastry blender or fork, cut the palm shortening into the flour mixture until the shortening pieces are pea-sized.
  4. Whisk in the rosemary and caramelized onions, ensuring the onions don’t stick together too much.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs and rice milk, then pour this mixture into the dry ingredients.
  6. Stir until a dough just forms. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes, to allow the flour to fully absorb the moisture.
  7. Using a muffin scoop or large ice cream scoop, transfer the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 12-14 minutes, or until the bottoms of the biscuits begin to brown.
Notes:

*For a buttery flavor, you can substitute ghee or butter (if tolerated) for half of the palm shortening.

*If you cannot tolerate eggs, you can substitute 2 flax eggs for real eggs. To make flax eggs, combine 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseed meal with 6 tablespoons of water and allow this mixture to sit for 10 minutes, prior to using. This substitution will also make the recipe vegan.

Health Alerts
Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., writes:
One particularly important aspect of all neurodegenerative diseases is progressive decline in energy production within affected neurons, mostly due to impaired mitochondria. This begins decades before a person experiences symptoms.
In fact, some scientists believe that the process begins as early as a person’s 20s or early 30s, when the energy in mitochondria declines.
Natural neurons can become 100 times more sensitive to damage from excitotoxicity. Until recently, it was thought that brain cells could only utilize sugar (glucose) for energy.
But it is now understood that they can utilize ketones, which are produced by the liver from fatty acids, equally well. More importantly, ketones do not need insulin to enter neurons, as is the case with glucose.
Special: Doctor Finally Discovers Natural Secret Weapon Against Aging
This is critical because it appears that people who develop Alzheimer’s disease suffer from insulin resistance within their brain. This is a condition where insulin no longer works to help transport glucose into the brain cells, where it is needed.
In essence, this kind of insulin resistance starves the brain cells. Several studies have shown that a ketogenic diet (high-fat, moderate-protein, low-carbohydrate) — or better yet, taking ketones directly — can significantly improve many of the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, especially if started early in the disease.
Despite all the evidence confirming this, most physicians who treat Alzheimer’s patients still do not make use of this simple, safe, and inexpensive form of treatment.
Because inflammation is at the center of neurodegenerative diseases, plant extracts that reduce inflammation offer an excellent way to at least slow the course of the disease.
Nanocurcumin has been demonstrated to have several beneficial effects, including:
• Dramatically reduce brain inflammation
• Improve the function of the blood-brain barrier
• Reduce the accumulation of beta-amyloid proteins in the brain
• Inhibit excitotoxicity
• Calm microglia
Trans-resveratrol and pterostilbene also powerfully protect the brain.
Bacopa and gastrodin, in my experience, have shown the most impressive results for improving memory and overall cognitive function of the brain. Both compounds suppress microglial activation and reduce immunoexcitotoxicity.
Silymarin, apigenin, and luteolin all inhibit microglial activation, thus reducing the risk of neurodegenerative diseases. The problem with these three is that they are poorly absorbed. But, nanotechnology has greatly improved absorption of these compounds.
Unfortunately, none of these compounds are used by physicians treating patients with neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr. Russell Blaylock, M.D., is editor of The Blaylock Wellness Report and a nationally recognized board-certified neurosurgeon, health practitioner, author, and lecturer.

Jimi,
I find that most of my patients who complain of GI problems are deficient in digestive enzymes. A deficiency in these enzymes prevents the body from breaking down and sufficiently absorbing food. Most digestion and absorption takes place in the small intestine and is regulated by pancreatic enzymes (digestive) and bile. The pancreas aids in digestion by releasing proteolytic enzymes, which help break down proteins into amino acids.
These enzymes break down food-stuff and allow the smaller molecules and nutrients to be absorbed into the bloodstream. The enzymes may become deficient for a variety of reasons, including advancing age, excess sugar, deficient essential fatty acids, excessive trans-fatty acids, and overeating. Eating processed food also depletes normal pancreatic enzymes.
Raw, unprocessed foods contain their own digestive enzymes. When we eat these foods, we help spare our own pancreatic enzymes. However, eating processed foods requires our body to secrete extra amounts of pancreatic enzymes. Over time, processed foods deplete a persons own pancreatic enzyme stores.
Proteolytic enzymes also help regulate inflammatory reactions by reducing the amount of kinins in the body. Kinin is a tissue hormone capable of causing severe and painful inflammatory reactions. It is triggered by allergic foods or chemicals and can cause inflammation anywhere in the body, including the brain.

Bloating, gas and indigestion may be signs of low stomach acid, deficient digestive enzymes (not able to break down and digest their food), bacterial or yeast overgrowth. Take a digestive enzyme with each meal. I recommend my patients use a potent pancreatic digestive enzyme formula that utilizes USP porcine-derived high-potency pancreatin for reliable and consistent enzyme activity.
If after one week you continue to have bloating gas or indigestion add 3 capsules of high dose probiotics (good bacteria, acidophilous, etc.). Probiotics should taken on an empty stomach. Usually one to two months of probiotic therapy is enough.... (READ MORE)

The second thing I recommend on the Get Out Of The City summit for people to grow was herbs.
Herbs are not always easy to grow but they tend to grow really well indoors.
Herbs are a fantastic option for most people because they get used frequently and can be fairly expensive to buy in a store.
Here is really all you need to get an indoor herb garden going:
  • A decent pot
  • Quality soil
  • 4 - 6 hours of sun light (Often you can get by with less because of your indoor lights)
  • A way to keep the water moist
  • A warm house (at least 65 degrees)
Then just get plant'n and figure it out as you go along :)
One thing I hope I got across in my presentation is that people just need to start growing food. Don't worry about how good of a gardener you are, there is no such thing as a black thumb.
Herbs are a fantastic starting place.
Sign up for the summit (it's free) and learn the blue print for simple living & high thinking.
Keep grow'n,
Jason
PS - I have not raised the price on our new Herb Starter Kit yet, but I will have too soon. So check it out :)

Hi Jimi,
With Thanksgiving just a few days away, most of us have planned what we'll be having for dinner...
But if you don't have this superfood on your menu, be sure to grab some today and incorporate it into your holiday dinner for maximum cancer-fighting power!
It comes in many colors, flavors and has hard outer skins but can be pureed nicely into a smooth soup or roasted for a tasty casserole.
AND… most people have no idea how powerful this food really is.
So today, we are talking about squash...

Squash (Winter)
mail
Although winter squash comes in several colors and flavors, e.g., turban, banana and buttercup, most people prefer the common variety like hubbard, spaghetti, butternut and acorn.
No matter the kind, winter squash have been subject to lab studies due to their nutritious nature. The vegetable's dietary fiber, for instance, can help individuals lose weight as well as lower their risk of developing cancer.
Flavonoids such as lutein and beta-carotene are also present in winter squash and help minimize oxidative stress. Currently, scientists are studying how flavonoids could inhibit or slow down cancer cells.
=======
Thank you for your continued support and we hope this serves you well.

To your health,
The Answer To Cancer

Fixing our Food and the Climate: Regenerative Farming 101

Agriculture changed the world. In more ways than one, but primarily, it allowed human beings to become the dominant species on the planet. (Depending on your definition of dominant…)

When we figured out we didn’t have to hope we find vegetation, we could just learn the secrets of the soil and grow it ourselves wherever we wanted to, we built societies, civilizations, governments, townships, municipalities…

But there are some problems with that model.

One, we’ve talked about pretty extensively – we’re not ruminants. We don’t have the teeth or the digestive systems to process grasses (wheat, barley, oats, rye, corn, sugar cane) like ruminants can.

That doesn’t mean you have to stop eating those things – it’s just that they don’t contribute to our systems running optimally. But a lot of what we’re growing are grasses, and so that’s what we’re eating.

More importantly, however, agriculture led to the hubris of monoculture and cash crops, which is how soil depletion even entered into our vocabulary.

And it’s causing major problems.

Soil Depletion

This is what happens when the nutrients and components in soil that make it fertile and allow for healthy, consistent crops is used and not replaced. When that happens, crop yields are lower and less robust. Excessive cultivation, monoculture, and less-than-attentive soil management are at the root cause of soil depletion.
This isn’t a new concept – even during the early days of plantation farming in the United States, farms frequently went bankrupt or changed locations because of the constant tobacco farming and growing trade demands.

Practices that affect soil fertility can be:

  • Allowing herd animals to graze freely, which can lead to soil compaction (reduction of pore space in soil) and close-cropping
  • Not using manure to feed nutrients back to the soil
  • Industrial logging on a large scale
  • Slash-and-burn agriculture
  • Monocropping
  • And more.

The problem we’re facing is two-fold: our soil isn’t healthy and so isn’t producing healthy crops, and the soil is eroding, which is not great for climate change.

Why?

Because when soil erodes, it takes the carbon that was trapped inside of it along with it, and that carbon gets released back into the atmosphere.

When you combine the carbon-releasing effects of soil erosion with the carbon-releasing effects of our current agricultural and land use practices, the EPA estimates that around 24% of greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. come from the agricultural sector.

That’s where regenerative agriculture can help.

Repairing the Carbon Sink Beneath Our Feet

According to the Rodale Institute’s latest white paper, Regenerative Agriculture and the Soil Carbon Solution, we can use regenerative agriculture as a means to “sequester carbon, improve soil health, and feed the world.”

That’s a tall order.
image
Let’s start with what exactly regenerative agriculture is…

You can think of it as the opposite of our current system. Rather than resulting in soil depletion, regenerative agriculture assigns equal focus to restoring nutrients to the soil as it does to drawing them out of the soil to bring into crops.

And because soil isn’t being damaged during high-yield crop harvests and monoculture, it stops eroding and continues to store carbon.

Farming practices that are considered regenerative include:

  • Composting
  • Cover cropping and green manure use
  • Seasonal crop rotations
  • Integrated livestock practices (like having ruminants strategically graze pastures in order to build up soil)
  • Less tilling of the soil (which releases carbon)
  • Complete absence of chemical fertilizers (which kills microbes, bacteria, and fungi in the soil that help to trap carbon)

By turning to these practices, we accomplish a few goals.

We lock more and more carbon into the soil. You see, when plants pull sugar from the carbon in the atmosphere during photosynthesis, they do it to feed the microbes in the soil surrounding their roots. The microbes eat the carbon, and convert it to more easily storable materials.

We also increase the nutritional value of the food we’re eating (which has been declining, as some studies have found), and by diversifying the crops planted in our massive fields, we reintroduce some of the original ecosystem to the land.

And, as is an increasing concern in the age of extreme weather events and climate change, regenerative agriculture strengthens the soil and prevents it from eroding, which preserves habitats, ecosystems, carbon sequestration, and helps to protect against powerful storms.

If you’re attempting to vote with your dollar here, look for these labels:

  • REGENERATIVE ORGANIC CERTIFIED
  • REAL ORGANIC PROJECT
  • USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC
  • LAND TO MARKET
  • SOIL CARBON INITIATIVE

These labels account for various initiatives – the second two focus less on the “organic” outcome of the harvest, and more on the practices used in animal, soil, and water infiltration care. The first three focus on both regenerative practices and organic outcome, with the first certification being considered the gold standard of regenerative farming.

In so many words, regenerative farming is the practice of spiritually concerning yourself with the land. It’s common sense – do not take without giving, do not be careless, do not poison.

And it’s probably our best hope for transforming our industrial agriculture system.

Listerine was NEVER meant to be put in your mouth.

In 1870... Listerine was used to treat STDs... and was also sold as FLOOR CLEANER!

But that wasn’t enough to satisfy their greed... which is why they changed their “marketing message” to go from a household floor cleaner to breath freshener and teeth whitener you use every single day.

Now dental institutions have found certain toxins in several popular mouthwashes are connected to mouth cancer.

To your vitality,

Dr. Pedram Shojai
