Americans have been subjected to unconstitutional measures since the beginning of the Covid outbreak. But even with the virus slowing down, we should remain vigilant in defense of our rights. Lawmakers across America must continue to resist the implementation of dangerous vaccine passport programs, and you can remind them to do so by joining THIS CAMPAIGN...

Dear Friend,

There exists perhaps no greater threat to medical autonomy than the introduction of "vaccine passports," which serve the purposes of tracking Americans and limiting their free movement within society and around the world.

Join this campaign to help STOP vaccine passports by urging both federal AND state lawmakers to reject their implementation at all costs, and SHARE it with friends and family members!
STOP VACCINE PASSPORTS IN AMERICA!

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., writes:

I like to compare the way the liver functions to a car’s oil filter, which keeps the engine clean by filtering impurities out of the oil. In the human body, the liver is supposed to keep blood free of toxic metabolites. And it is well-suited for this job.

But like a dirty oil filter, the liver can become clogged up and lose its ability to effectively detoxify the blood.

In order to better appreciate how a person’s liver can become overwhelmed, it’s important to understand how it works to filter dangerous substances out of the blood.

The liver is a large organ located in the upper right quadrant of the abdomen. Its principal function is to filter the blood coming from the digestive tract before that blood is circulated throughout the rest of the body.

Special: 5 Simple Steps to Remove Dangerous Toxins and Heavy Metals From Your Body's Cells

But it has a wide range of other functions as well, including synthesizing proteins, storing glycogen, producing and activating or deactivating hormones, and producing bile, the substance that is secreted into the intestines to help digest fats and fat-soluble vitamins.

There are two main pathways for liver detoxification, called phase 1 and phase 2. These pathways are designed to neutralize toxic substances so that they can be excreted in stool or urine.

If everything is working right, toxins are neutralized and safely eliminated. However, if the liver is overwhelmed, the body will accumulate toxins.

That’s why it’s important to try to minimize toxic exposures and reduce the workload on the liver.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., editor of the Natural Way to Health newsletter, is a board-certified family physician and one of the nation’s foremost practitioners of holistic medicine. In addition to his practice, Dr. Brownstein has lectured internationally to physicians and is the author of six very popular books.

When it comes to digestion, HOW we eat is equally as important as WHAT we eat.

Here are a few tips that you can incorporate immediately to improve digestion when it comes to HOW you eat:

⦁ Take 2-3 deep breaths before you eat to help your body shift into a calm and relaxed state. If you are in a fight or flight state, blood is being sent away from your digestive organs and into your arms and legs so you will not digest your food properly.
⦁ Eat in a distraction/screen-free environment when possible. (No TV, phones, or iPads) and be present and mindful when you are eating.
⦁ Give thanks for your food and all the people that were involved in bringing your amazing meal to your table.
⦁ Chew your food 20-30 times per bite or until it is a baby food type of texture.
⦁ Slow down when you eat!

Most people eat too fast and, therefore, tend to overeat.

Hope that helps!

Your Daily Motivation

Friday

You have to believe that you can do it. Out of all the obstacles you will face in your life, a lack of belief in yourself is the biggest one.

Unless you believe in your abilities, you will limit yourself no matter how great the opportunities are around you.

Being confident gives you a feeling of certainty that you'll figure it out somehow and make the situation work for you. Choose to be confident.

You can accomplish whatever you set your mind to. Take the moment and make the best of it.

How Does Dopamine Affect the Body?

Hi Jimi-

You might have heard that dopamine is the "feel good" neurotransmitter. In many ways, it is. Dopamine is made by the body, and your nervous system uses it to send messages between nerve cells. That’s why it’s sometimes called a chemical messenger. Dopamine plays a big role in how we feel pleasure, but it does a lot more than that! It’s a big part of our unique human ability to think and plan, it helps motivate us, enhances focus, and fosters curiosity!

In this podcast, I am joined by my buddy Evan Brand to talk about dopamine, its many functions in the body, and how it is essential for our health.

*-- Tips to Maintain Good Posture --*

Don't Slump at Your Desk

I get it. If you work at a desk sometimes slumping down in your chair feels amazing on your back. I sometimes even lean back for a couple seconds and twist my chair. But if we find ourselves slumping down a lot of the time, were not doing ourselves any good.

Try this instead: Sit all the way back in your chair. You can place a small lumbar cushion behind your mid-back to protect your spine's natural curve. If you don't have a lumbar cushion, you can also purchase a posture support cushion which can be used in any chair, car seat or wheelchair. Also try bending your knees at a right angle and keep them at the same height. Then place your feet flat on the floor.

Don't Be a Slouch

The bottom line is that slouching causes stress on your spine. As a result, this puts a strain on the bones, muscles, and joints. Lousy posture isn't just bad for your back. When you constantly slouch, you ultimately smash your inside organs together, and makes it harder for your lungs and intestines to work. Over time, that'll make it hard to digest food or get enough air when you breathe.

Try this instead: Make it a habit to sit up straight as soon as you sit down no matter where you are. Whether you're sitting down for lunch or even in the movie theater, turn sitting up straight into a daily routine.

Don't Lean Back When You Drive

Sometimes it's hard to sit up straight when you drive, especially since the seats in cars are molded in a way that makes it difficult. But it is important that you try to sit up as straight as possible.

Try this instead: Position your drivers seat so that your knees are higher than your hips. If you have a lumbar support in your car, adjust it so that it sits at the curve of your back. If you find yourself stuck in traffic, you can even do a little stretch. Rotate your torso to one side for five seconds keeping your back straight and then rotate to the other side.

Check for Problems

We all know whether we are a slouch or not. It's not a surprise. And if you really aren't sure, here's a quick way to tell. Stand up against a wall and place the back of your head against it. Move your feet 6 inches out from the baseboard. Your lower back and your neck should be about 2 inches from it. If not, talk to your doctor about ways to improve your posture.

Taking A Seat

Usually we think of it when we are walking, but sitting is the number one we wreck havoc on our posture.

There are different types of chairs out there designed to help you sit comfortably and ease pain, but the problem is they are incredibly expensive. But what if all you need is the right cushion?

With the Posture Support Cushion you can easily and affordably ensure you get the proper support you need while at your desk, in the car, or anywhere you find yourself sitting for long periods of time.

This is one of the premiere support cushions on the market because it comfortably corrects your posture in three ways: 1) Firm Lower Back Support, 2) Cushioned Base For Pelvic Support, and 3) Side Supports Cradle Your Spine.

Not only does it adjust and improve your posture, it is super soft and "oh so comfortable!" And that's all thanks to the thousands and thousands of micro beads packed inside. Use it in any chair, car seat or wheelchair and start enjoying the comfort and relief that comes with a healthy posture.

5 Ways You Can Support Your Pancreas

Don’t worry, we’re not going to leave you in the dark!

We want to share some of our top tips in supporting the health of your pancreas. These include:

1. Encourage detoxification

The pancreas is one of the few organs that cannot detoxify itself. To assist the pancreas, you can start by aiding in the detoxification processes through different supplements as well as minimising your exposure to environmental toxins, especially the food you eat and the water you drink.

2. Increase antioxidants

Low antioxidant levels in the blood have been associated with inflammation of the pancreas due to the destructive effects of increased free radicals. Antioxidant supplements such as vitamin C and alpha-lipoic acid may eliminate or minimise oxidative stress. Foods rich in antioxidants include brightly coloured fruits (such as blueberries, cherries, and tomatoes) and vegetables (such as capsicum, carrots, and squash).

3. Avoid processed foods & trans-fats

Avoid fried or heavily processed foods like French fries, burgers, and pastries as well as organ meats, dairy, red meats, and alcohol. These foods are hard for your body to digest. They also add to the toxin burden on your liver and can cause your insulin levels to spike.

4. Supplement with pancreatic enzymes

Supplementation of pancreatic enzymes is beneficial when the pancreas is not able to produce enough enzymes to break down your food. The primary pancreatic enzymes that help break down fat molecules and aid in digestion include lipase, protease, and amylase.

5. Support healthy blood sugar levels

Supporting healthy blood sugar levels by increasing your fiber intake, eating regularly, lowering your carbohydrate intake, and exercising regularly can go a long way in supporting your pancreas.

Eat Chocolate for Gut Health

By Dr. Oz and Dr. Roizen, MDs

Mayans concocted a bitter, frothy, hot brew from roasted cocoa bean paste, chili peppers, and cornmeal.

Later the Aztecs adopted the custom, but sipped what they called chocolatl at room temperature; Montezuma is said to have downed 50 cups a day.

Mayans and Aztecs revered the cocoa bean's flavor and even used it as currency. They didn't suspect that its true powers were displayed in their guts.

Special: This Gut Health Secret Is Key to Your Body's Immune Challenges

A new study reveals that the magic bean acts as a PRE-biotic; its nondigestible components, including fiber, encourage growth of beneficial PRO-biotics, such as bifidobacterium and lactobacillus.

As these good gut bacteria feast on the chocolate, they ferment it, producing compounds that help tamp down potentially harmful bacteria like E. coli, ease inflammation, promote heart health, and aid digestion (preventing Montezuma's revenge, perhaps!). That happy tango helps keep your immune system balanced.

But hold off on chocolate syrups and candy bars! They're loaded with added sugar and not much chocolate goodness.

We recommend you enjoy 1/2 ounce of 70% dark chocolate, no less than a couple times a week and no more than once a day. One-half ounce delivers 85 calories and 6 grams of fat — 3.5 of them a saturated fat that your liver wonderfully converts to a healthy fat on its first pass through.

Our favorite ways to use that half-ounce: added to a spicy tomato sauce over grilled chicken; grated into black beans with a dash of cinnamon; or melted into a cup of coffee for an after-dinner treat.

Dear Jimi,
The world has gone absolutely crazy.
And it only seems to be getting worse.
It’s like we’re being shuffled through a never-ending haunted house of society's worst fears.
First, it was COVID and the fear of a worldwide pandemic.
That was quickly taken over by the cruel and despicable policies instituted by governments and corporations to “slow the spread” - resulting in the largest and fastest expansion of dictatorial powers we’ve ever seen in supposed “democratic” countries across the world.
These policies then directly led to rising inflation and the supply chain disaster. Prices for meat and vegetables are soaring. And shelves are emptying.
NOW…
We’re nearly on the brink of WWIII as Russia and Ukraine battle it out.
And if that’s not enough…
You can’t drive anywhere because gas prices are skyrocketing higher than they’ve ever been in American history!
It’s as if there’s a war on energy, liberty, common sense, and world domination all happening simultaneously.
And the question on so many people’s minds is, “how do I protect myself and my family from this craziness? What can I do? Where can I go?”
Our good friend and colleague, John Bush from Live Free Academy found the answer.
And he’s going to share it with you for FREE at The Exit and Build Summit II.
You’re going to learn how to live freer than you’ve ever been in your life RIGHT NOW despite unprecedented tyranny and chaos.
You will definitely be BLOWN AWAY by what you discover throughout this Summit.

When you focus too much on satisfying other people's desires, you end up sacrificing your own needs.

We must strike a balance between our own feelings and those of others. Being overly empathetic reduces your ability to make decisions in your best interest.

And as a result, you feel dissatisfied with your life. Check in with yourself regularly to ensure you know what you need.

Try to become more aware of how the energy of other people affects you. Being more self-aware will enable you to create strong boundaries when necessary.

Hi Jim,
When I was a kid, we simply didn’t know all of the foods that are heart-health rockstars. And a lot of folks, including some of my own family members, suffered greatly — even paying the ultimate price for their food choices.
Luckily, things have changed, and it’s definitely for the better.
I’d like to take you behind the scenes of one of the most powerful things you can do for your heart: eating the top 15 heart health superfoods.
Are you eating these astonishingly good-for-you foods?
You can find out all about them in the free guide, Heart Food: 15 Foods Your Heart Will Love.
>> Download your complimentary Guidebook right here.
The important thing to understand about heart disease is that it doesn’t just “run in the family.” Just because you have a relative who had it, doesn’t mean you’ll get it.
And vice versa — just because you DON’T have a family member who has it, doesn’t mean you’re immune.
One thing is for sure though, the time to start eating these heart-healthy foods is now because heart health impacts everything, including how much energy you have each day…and even your sex life!
And there’s more — my dad and colleague, John Robbins, and I are hosting the 2022 Food Revolution Summit.
Starting April 23rd, we’ll interview 25 of the world’s top food leaders and health experts.
When you download your Heart Food guidebook, you’ll get a spot in the online Food Revolution Summit, completely free.
During the Summit, you’ll discover what the world’s top doctors and health experts want you to know about the power of plant-based food, your health, and what we can do to create a sustainable planet for all.
Download your heart health guidebook and join the Summit now.
Yours for using food to heal,
Ocean Robbins
P.S. Eating a daily serving of just one particular food you’ll read about in Heart Food can reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease by an incredible 39%.
Find out about this and 14 other foods your heart will love, plus grab your spot in the free Summit, here.

Hi Jimi,

I hope you had an amazing week!

While you unwind and relax, let me take you through the five things that made my week SO much better!

The Survival Paradox

Our bodies have their own survival mechanism in place but this could be the very reason we fall sick so often. Whenever this mechanism is triggered pain, inflammation and sometimes even a life-threatening disease can follow. How is it possible that our body could be making us sick while working to do the very opposite?. This book draws inspiration from leading research and healing stories to help you master your own biochemistry and overcome the paradox of survival. By the end of this book, you will be on a journey of physical, mental, and emotional healing, I promise you!

“Link Between Alzheimer’s Disease and Gut Microbiota Is Confirmed”

In recent years, research into how the Gut Microbiota works and how it can affect the many different systems in our body has become mainstream. Your diet and lifestyle are two of the biggest things that affect the bacterial makeup in your gut and now research has confirmed that it can affect the way your brain works as well. Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of Dementia and it can be triggered by an imbalance of the Gut Microbiota. Focusing on your diet, and lifestyle, and making sure you have healthy habits that keep your gut happy are great ways to prevent the formation of amyloid plaque in the brain.

“How Being Happy Makes You Healthier”

One of the things I strongly believe in is that keeping a positive outlook on life can help you live a much more fulfilling and healthy life. Happiness and positivity aren’t something that comes naturally and so takes practice. I absolutely love this article as it talks about the benefits of staying happy and how you can make your immune system, your heart, and your overall health much better. By making small changes to our daily routine we can start our journey to being happier. This will help reduce the overall stress levels in our body no matter what life throws at us. It is a long journey, I know, but working on it every day can help you live a longer, happier, and healthier life.

_____________________________________________________

The Correct Way to Breathe In

As we age, maintaining healthy habits becomes more important. Breathing is one of those things that we don’t really think about too much, I mean it’s something our body does on its own, but, what if I told you we may all be breathing in the wrong way? Every system in our body relies on oxygen to function properly. Effective breathing does not only help your body physically but also mentally. The video linked here will show you how to correct your breathing and where you could be going wrong. From better mental clarity and better sleep to better digestion and improved immune response, breathing correctly has insane benefits.

That’s all for this week!

Bleeding Risk Prompts New Guidelines on Aspirin

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

As an anticoagulant, it has long been understood that aspirin may cause bleeding. But the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology recently went further, issuing sweeping guidelines that adults who don’t have heart disease should not take a daily low-dose aspirin.

Those organizations based their consensus on three additional studies, which show that the risk of bleeding outweighed any potential benefit that might be gained for apparently healthy people.

Special: Save Your Brain. Reduce Your Risk of Alzheimer's Now.

Using aspirin to prevent the first cardiac event, such as heart attack or stroke, is called primary prevention.

Secondary prevention occurs when aspirin is taken by heart attack survivors or others with diagnosed heart disease, for whom the likelihood of a cardiovascular event is much higher. As a result, the potential benefit is much greater.

There’s no debate about the recommendation that people take aspirin for secondary prevention. Those who fall into this category include:

  • Heart attack survivors
  • People with coronary artery disease
  • People who have undergone angioplasty or coronary artery bypass surgery
  • People with unstable angina
  • Survivors of ischemic stroke
  • People with peripheral artery disease (a narrowing in the arteries of the legs)
  • People with carotid artery disease (a narrowing of the arteries of the neck)

There will be good days and bad days. Try to focus more on the good days. Take what worked. Use it to set yourself up to function better when a bad day hits.

When you learn to be grateful no matter what happens, you're less likely to get bogged down by the thought that it will never get better.

Negative thoughts will only cause you to feel overwhelmed by everything and interpret all your experiences negatively.

Do your best to stay positive and tell yourself that the bad day will pass. Enjoy the simple things. Allow the goodness in your life to grow.

Hi Jimi,

I wanted to personally write you this special note…

Because you have until tomorrow night to watch the replay of the Eat To Live Masterclass.

Putting this live airing on for you has been such a blessing, and I’m so happy that I can help get this potentially life-saving information into your hands. I’m also grateful that you’re getting a few extra days to watch this course…

And in that spirit, I want to highlight 5 of my favorite parts of the Masterclass, that I HIGHLY suggest you pay close attention to during the replay.

  1. The “Hidden Addiction” that’s sweeping across America. This has made it it impossible for people over 40 to lose weight, and it’s the REAL reason why 90% of Americans are obese. (You’ll discover this halfway through Module 6.)
  1. The Ultimate Anti-Cancer Food. This affordable food has HUNDREDS of compounds that prevent tumors from growing in your body. (Find out what it is in Module 2.)
  1. The Ultimate Anti-Aging Food. This is the MOST COMMON food eaten by the world’s longest-living, healthiest, and happiest people. Add it to your breakfast, and miracles may happen. (Discover this in Module 4.)
  1. Health Marketing Scams And Where To Find Them. This one, in my opinion, is the BIGGEST scam ever put on the world’s population. I’ll tell you exactly what it is in Module 7.
  1. Stop Counting Calories! Don’t even think for a second about tracking calories, macros, or any of the busywork that makes losing weight impossible. (Discover why that is in Module 8.)
Wow! Choosing just 5 talking points from my Masterclass was really hard…

Because in reality, when you watch the Replay… or when you go through it in the future when you Own It For Life

There are hundreds of golden nuggets, strategies, and recipes that could help you lose weight, reverse disease, and live a long AMAZING life.

But for now…

I recommend that you watch the Replay here (it ends tomorrow night)

Wishing you amazing health,

~ Dr. Fuhrman

Hey Jimi,

How many times have you heard that having the right diet can help prevent cancer? If I had to guess, it’s probably a lot.

The reason you hear that so often is because it’s TRUE.

But, the fact is there are a lot of diets out there — from vegan and macrobiotic to keto and paleolithic — and knowing what’s best for you is easier said than done.

That’s why we wanted to share an interview with our host Nathan Crane and Dr. Joel Fuhrman that reveals the best anti-cancer diet, backed by science.

In this full length interview from the Global Cancer Symposium, you’ll discover:

  • The diet most likely to increase your risk of cancer.
  • The best diet for preventing and reversing cancer.
  • The truth about animal products (it’s not just meat) and how they affect your health.
  • The right amount of protein you need to help prevent and reverse cancer.
  • The biggest reasons why you can’t lose weight, even when you try.

Trauma Super Confernece - Register Now
Hello jimi,

Have you experienced trauma? Or do you suffer from chronic stress, anxiety, or fatigue and can’t seem to figure out the cause?

Trauma comes in many forms...

For some, it hits like lightening—a single, painful event that replays over and over in the mind. For others, it may be a collection of events, hurts, and memories. In fact, many who suffer the effects of trauma aren’t even sure why they feel how they do. And many don’t realize they have been traumatized at all.

The truth is that most of us have unresolved trauma due to early life stress, painful loss, and, most recently, pandemic-related challenges. Exposure to trauma (whether physical, mental, or emotional), can have long-term, detrimental effects on your health and wellbeing that hold you back from living your best possible life.

The good news is that the psychological, neurological, and biochemical effects can be reversed. In other words, you can completely heal from your trauma, regardless of how stressed, tired, burnt out, anxious, or depressed you may feel—or how long you have felt that way.

That’s why we’re delighted to personally invite you to the Trauma Super Conference, a FREE online event featuring 70+ of the world’s leading trauma experts. During the conference, they will discuss the far-reaching impacts trauma can have while sharing the most radically comprehensive roadmap to date for optimal health on every level.

And the very best part?

It’s hosted by our dear friend and Hay House author Alex Howard—creator of Therapeutic Coaching™ and Founder of The Optimum Health Clinic—and includes several other beloved Hay House authors such as Dr. Pedram Shojai, Nick Ortner, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Caroline Myss, Dr. David Perlmutter, and Jason Prall.
This event is a “Super Conference” unlike any other. It brings together the world’s most trusted and highly regarded doctors, researchers, professors, best-selling authors, healers, and speakers to create a truly interdisciplinary approach to healing at the intersection of functional medicine, neuroscience, psychology, art, and more.

You know Jimi, I'd say one of my biggest themes here at Evolutionary Herbalism is that if we want to be holisitic herbalists, we have to use whole plants to heal the whole person.
But an entirely other level of being “whole-istic” is looking at how people and plants are in relationship with the wholeness of life itself. And that's really what astrology is, the underlying pattern of the wholeness of life.
To me, it only makes sense that it’d fit right into a holistic philosophy and practice of herbalism.
But I’m getting a lot of questions about how all this works…
  • How exactly are plants and planets connected?
  • What criteria determines what planet is related to a plant?
  • How does astrology change our understanding of herbs?
  • And most importantly, how does it make you a better herbalist?

To answer these questions (and a lot more), I’m going to be doing a live webinar this Tuesday, April 12, 2022 3:00PM Pacific.
In 7 Plant, 7 Planets, you're going to learn seven medicinal plants and their unique ways of embodying the planetary powers.
