Good to hear your feeling better....!Hi Dale, thanks I am feeling a little better but still not out of the woods yet
What's this thing called rain?Good to hear your feeling better....!
Get any rain yet, to help that garden flourish before snow hits?
Hanging in there. . . One Day at a Time (high temp today 46)How's Rich this lovely evening?
Not bad, could be worse.Hanging in there. . . One Day at a Time (high temp today 46)
Not the last few days, been working my ass off....but if I wasn't working my ass off, I'd have problems.Hey Dale are you still having problems sleeping?
Two kittens, one snuggled against each cheek. You find something to share, in the sleep help dept?
I have been making banana tea, it's been helping me.Not the last few days, been working my ass off....but if I wasn't working my ass off, I'd have problems.

Interesting. I usually eat about four bananas a day, perhaps something in the peel, besides magnesium?I have been making banana tea been helping me.
Take a whole organic banana wash it cut off the ends then cut in half long ways then put it in a pan with about 3 cups water then boil it for about 8 minutes (leave the skin on) strain and drink
it give you a surplus of natural magnesium which helps you sleep
Good luck, Sarah. The countdown is on. Phillip goes in tomorrow for cardiac catheterization to see if he needs stents, or a bypass.
Hope Lannie doesn't read that.....Two kittens, one snuggled against each cheek.
We are both hoping stents are all he needs. The bypass scenario scares us.Good luck, Sarah.
I assume it would. We are both hoping stents are all he needs. The bypass scenario scares us.
I will keep my fingers crossed SarahThe countdown is on. Phillip goes in tomorrow for cardiac catheterization to see if he needs stents, or a bypass.
They say there close to 10 x thee magnesium in the peelInteresting. I usually eat about four bananas a day, perhaps something in the peel, besides magnesium?
Never knew that, good information...!They say there close to 10 x thee magnesium in the peel
No wonder the garden like banana peels so much.....They say there close to 10 x thee magnesium in the peel
Yeah, she'll get jealous that the kittens are snuggling me instead of her.Hope Lannie doesn't read that.....
Damn right, the more the merrier....!A person needs the magnesium anyway
That's where all mine went till I started drinking the tea, all of them that I eat the peel goes in my compost pileNo wonder the garden like banana peels so much.....
You have rain again today?Yeah, she'll get jealous that the kittens are snuggling me instead of her.
I may try to eat a peel off a really ripe banana (never tried it)....I know they're really bitter on bananas not ripe. That's where all mine went till I started drinking the tea, all of them that I eat the peel goes in my compost pile
Cloudy all day, a bit misty at times, but no real rain. You have rain again today?
I noticed the w-guessers noted kinda shitty weather in your general area.
I wouldn't because the peel has way too much fiber to digest easily. And eating just the banana itself is only about 8% of RDA for magnesium (while spinach is 28%). I have heard that using the peel in the tea gives a lot more than that, but if you're going to do this, make damn sure the banana is guaranteed organic (NOT the grocery store's claim) because boiling the peel will put any chemicals that were sprayed on the banana directly into your tea.I may try to eat a peel off a really ripe banana (never tried it)....I know they're really bitter on bananas not ripe.
Well that ain't bad I guess. Hopefully you'll have some dog days of autumn coming your way.Cloudy all day, a bit misty at times, but no real rain.
We could use a few more good days. I am way behind in my "good weather chores."Well that ain't bad I guess. Hopefully you'll have some dog days of autumn coming your way.
I'm a fiber junkie....I'm aware of them damn chemicals too.....I wouldn't because the peel has way too much fiber to digest easily. You'll have a few, I'd bet my life on it. Hopefully, more than a couple days, perhaps a couple weeks. We could use a few more good days. I am way behind in my "good weather chores."
Oh please, Great Lord Dale of Scotts, make it so.You'll have a few, I'd bet my life on it. Hopefully, more than a couple days, perhaps a couple weeks.
Well be sure to tell me how that turns out, I think the delivery system of the warm tea would let your body absorb the magnesium better.I may try to eat a peel off a really ripe banana (never tried it)....I know they're really bitter on bananas not ripe.
Well fortunately Dale you can use your tree ripe organic bananas before longI'm a fiber junkie....I'm aware of them damn chemicals too.....
Was only kidding about eating the peels....their not too good, regardless of the age....Well fortunately Dale you can use your tree ripe organic bananas before long
As well as the rest of the public. The FDA always have their best priorities in order.....
Positive thoughts sent to you and him.The countdown is on. Phillip goes in tomorrow for cardiac catheterization to see if he needs stents, or a bypass.
I'm sending positive thoughts your way! Hubs had both procedures. The countdown is on. Phillip goes in tomorrow for cardiac catheterization to see if he needs stents, or a bypass.
I was about two minutes away from deciding no one was coming on here tonight....
Anyhooooo... overcast, very windy, and rained like hell this morning. Sky was totally clear by 2 PM, wind died, and it got all the way up to 63.5 degrees. Now it is cloudy, windy, and cold, with a feeling of mistiness that implies more rain likely.
Nothing of any significant merit... routine BS. Cows seem intent on destroying my wooden gates. They have been fine for the last 10 years, but now they are being battered. Wish I could afford steel.Get anything accomplished today, in the shitty 1/2 day of poor weather?
