I have a crown tank I love it but I'm buying a herakles v2 at ecig.com with code vapingcheap it's 14.99$. So I'll be able to give you better answer once it comes but you can't go wrong with the crown tank

Sent from the lab in my basement of vapement

Also, if you get a Crown, every few weeks or so, ecig.com will put the coils on sale for $7.99 or a little lest with coupon codes. I always buy a couple packs when they do that. Thing of it is... even running the .25 coils at 85-90w... the coils last for a month for me. So I have a few packs of coils sitting around for mine. The flavor and use of all the juice because of the way the coil sits in the deck and tank... that and the capacity... LOVE MY CROWN! I have been tempted to sell min so I can pick up a rose colored one.

Im not going to buy anymore RDA's over $120 that are the same thing with one extra feature....
I may buy the 40mm Mason and the Achilles 30mm Velocity though...Those atleast seem more worth the money to me....

Don't get me wrong if that Horney was less then $100 I would scoop it up but Im seeing it for almost $200 online unless you contact the producer, then its $120...

Was thinking of getting that color changing RDA but in all black...its 30mm Velocity...with enough room to drill 2 more holes under the existing holes in the posts and tap m3 screws in....all for less then $30

EDIT: I just saw its a $12 clone! I just bought 2!

Yeah, there's no way I'd pay $128 for ANYTHING from Focal Ecig.
Yea I didnt click the thread, I just saw someone said the Horney RDA and then you picked one up afterwards...I was going to call you a crazy fuck because I wouldnt even spend that kind of money on a slightly taller velocity!
My last FocalEcig order didnt go too well...I purchased 5 Clone Griffins to compare and a handful of other RDA's and RTA's in stock (almost a $140 order!) and my order didnt move from "Collecting Products Now" for almost a month, then I tried to cancel the order and then they responding email stating the order was already shipped and immediately the order went from "Collecting Products Now" to "Order Shipped Still, waiting for Tracking Number"...and stayed like that for 5 days. I sent a new email asking what the flying F%$K is going on and I really thought they were scamming me.
I was sent a email yesterday stating that DHL left my the package at my local post office for me to pick it up almost 4 days ago and I was never notified...I am picking it up today when I get down there....I ordered this order on Feb 10th and everything was in stock and I paid almost $18 in shipping for quickest method...

I hope this one RDA is a smoother experience.

Have you seen the 40mm Mason RDA? Its almost like the Alliance Fatboy but without Swappable Posts...I wanted to get one since I cant get the Fat Boy, would be nice on top of my new Authentic HOG V1!

I was thinking of a quad coil series build...There should be enough room for dual vertical coils on each side....Could have 4 of 28/38g Claptons 15 Wrap/3mm ID....There is just sooo many options with the height and post holes!

So I got a question for you guys this 430 SS I have been using for the past two weeks after about 4 days the coil looks rusted to shit I know multiple people who order it from the same company and don't have any issues so I'm wondering could the ID affect how fast is breaks down this coil is maybe 5 days old

Pull the wick and dry fire it. From what I can see it just looks gunked as hell and so does the cotton. And, black isn't rust, SS does blacken. I don't use 430 so it may be different but for my 316 the stages is pretty much the shinier (not Kanthal shiny though) starting point. Then it turns into a few shades of dull grey moving darker into black then it stays there... for longer than I've been able to find (put 300mL+ through one coil and still just a deep black). On that same thing, Kanthal will for me generally start to get dull grey then go into browning and eventually it looks like a light brown powdery substance is coating it, that I'm quite sure is rust or at least something not good (it's vape is changed as well).

If that helps cool, if not /shrug.

One thing I haven't played with enough to know much but i'm interested is how long Kanthal Wrapped or Nichrome wrapped SS Fused Claptons will last. I've run a couple for 2 weeks but nothing past that and they were fine for the kanthal wrapping (I still haven't touched Nichrome myself).

I got the Alleria V2 today, its a nice RTA and I love the fact that you can see the build and wicking while using it, I just wish they would of made it a 25mm RTA with a 18mm deck at least-that would make it crazy good!
Build Specs: 3 x .3 ribbon/28N80 Frames/40N80 Outer Wrap (7 Wraps/2.5mm ID @ .12 Ohms).
(I cut off that bit of insulation as it was some over molded, I did remove it before using the RTA...)

Been rocking these coils in my Alliance V2+, on my Sig 150W TC for the past week, re-wicked it this morning, and tossed it on my RX200 (finally got a proper silicone sleeve, not those cheap ones with seams and shoddy edging)..........hits soooooo smooth at 100W, and flavor is on point! I'm a happy vaper right now :D

Fused Claptons
2x 24ga K1 + 27ga K1, 5 wrap 3mm ID
2x 22ga K1 + 32ga K1, 7 wrap 3mm ID
Both come in at roughly 0.25Ω, build comes in at 0.16Ω
(and yes, they both glow evenly, in unison, not in sequence)

Not the prettiest wrap due to the insane spring these cables offer. Gladly I say they also offer the most incredible wicking properties possible.
.75+_ sec ramp time
Phenomenal flavor...very possibly the best I've partaken so far. Great vapor production..Comp quality...

Just throwing it out there, but wanna put links to your in depth reviews of different tanks in your coilporn thread? Nice to have it all centrally located. Just at the top. Just an idea that I know I'd like and I think others might find useful.

Monster....I'm almost out of 40n80 or I would've used it instead, presuming a shorter ramp time(not to say this ramp is long at under a second on my mech), and to cut down the overall profile or thickness of the wire. This coil or a variation of it may be my new go to.

You should hammer the core flat then flatten the outer wrap and then wrap it...it would knit tighter, cover more surface area and add to its craziness level;)

All new tank from Smok. The TF-RTA with two deck options. Doesn't look the decks would work in the TFV4 tho.

Don't get juice in the silicone sleeve, juice + sleeve = big ugly mess.

I clean my mods every other day, and if I see any juice on it I immediately wipe it off (I carry a microfiber cloth just for that reason, comes in handy). For the amount of money I spend on them, your damn straight I'm gonna take care of them like they were my children lol

No doubt, I bought a 4 pack of the 12x12 microfiber cloths. I keep one in the door of my car, 2 on the workbench, and one on the kitchen counter that is in the middle of the house so it is always close.

I quit doing the silicone sleeve after I had one on my Smok m80 with my "leak like a sieve" Subtank Mini. Didn't notice until I took off the sleeve one day when I saw some juice by the bottom vent holes. Pull that case off and it was full of juice. All over the damn place. So never again!

Damn, that's a shame, I would imagine it sucking getting a mod full of juice . The only leaking things I have are an Ego One Mega tank (all coils leak, doesn't matter, has to be stored upside down when filled with juice), and my TFV4, until I figured out how to fix it.
I haven't had anything leak on me since, but RDAs obviously spit juice all over mods, so those micro-fibre cloths are life savers (definitely easier and cheaper than using paper towels all the time).
I've been lucky with my Silicone cases, haven't had juice under any of them except for my Sig 150TC, and that's because the case is loose fitted (I can hold the case lightly and the whole mod can slide out under it's own weight since it has no bottom for whatever damn reason, just a poor design, been meaning to get an aftermarket one), and since I'm changing batteries in that mod on the daily, the juice is never sitting for long enough to damage anything.
I guess I'm just lucky in respect to my gear, never have any issues that weren't my own fault, and any issues I do have are easily remedied :D

I've hammered and compressed twisted wire...I like the results in terms of surface area. When it comes to cables, while twisting the pre twisted wires all together in the opposite direction they were twisted initially, if you don't over or under twist it, it creates long gaps between each wire. These cavities I've noticed are amazing at producing well rounded, crisp flavor. I would be defeating the purpose of these juice vesicles by hammering them down. I noticed after wrapping the cores in that ribbon Clapton(albeit a thick wire) it's essentially a wick by itself...I could reshape and reposition the coil at the bottom of a juice well to be used as a wick less coil for juice sampling. It's essentially a very long cavity for juice to fill and vent.

I received another Twisted Messes V1 today, this is number 6 in the Collection :D I wanted to do something new for it as all the others have various .1 Ohm Builds in them and I dont have a Series Build in any of them...So thats what I decided to go with. I spaced the wraps much more then normal so it could hold more juice between its webbing and ramp up faster, the whole width of the coil glows instantaneously. I find it odd it yields a warmer vape then a .41 Build I have in the Velocity...
2 x 28KA1/38KD Fused Claptons (9 Wraps/3mm ID @ .46 Ohms)

I also had a Lush RDA come in today....anyone have any thoughts of what I should put in it? Im getting Coil Builders Block and cant think of enough different builds that I can pull off to shove in all these RDA's, I still need to build the Black/Gold TM, a Double Vision, Lush, and when they arrive the Goon and So Horney RDA's...
