RX200. It really need a H.O.G. or something beefier.
I almost bought the hog v2 but in figured fir my first mech... I wouldn't go for that beast. That and there is nothing I have that ib can think of that ib would build to need that power. I went worth the NC because I like the size and it fits everything I have. Still want a hog just so I have one...just in case. Hah

Its not more power...its just more overhead protection for lower builds and more battery life...same with the V1....They arent actually all that large compared to other boxes but they are very nice to have....I think everyone should own atleast a Tres Equis clone or a Hog clone...

Its a clone of the "So Horney RDA" by wild Bill Productions.

@CrazyChef You think you need more wartz?? ....Too much powa from the Ego fer me! It looks crazy on it...I think they should make a 40mm Version of it!
You would have to have a hog to power everything you could put into a 40mm version of that! Haha 8-16 coils to power!

@CrazyChef I wanted to ask before mine arrives...how are the screws/threading on it? Do the posts move or bend when torquing down the screws? IF not I think this may be one of my favorite RDA's in the future...The screws I can replace with hardened versions but the insulator/posts are what matter to me.

WALLETS BE WARNED!!!
I think I found my next regulated mod...300w/3 x 18650 and fires down to .05Ohms for $50 ! LINK
Yeah saw that one a few days ago, then I read the add and laughed 'we suggest use >35A or 40A high drain battery' :sneaka:but yeah, 30amps or don't go to the 300w, though I'm curious about any internal cutoffs, always wish it'd make a point to mention those ever since the cuboid fiasco.

I feel the same with the output limits...but the Cuboid couldnt fire down under .09-.1 so I think the limits a bit higher (probably 40a) then the Cuboid. If it can even do 90w @ .06 Ohms I'd be happy...

Loving my Tres Equis though scared the crap out of myself last night when I took the batteries out and 3.5v 4.2v 4.2v (EEK!) Luckily I wasn't running too low (.14Ω) with Samsungs, still bad. So I gave it a good cleaning, more than just the polishing cloth (did that Ketchup thing you wrote about to check it out, works surprisingly well, the things sparkled). Anyways, it's all working well now. Time to build a nice .1Ω Boreas build and enjoy it.

Ive been talking about this mod for a little while now, nodbody seemed to care lol. Pretty sweet though, Ive been thinking about buying it for a while now (preordering that is, doesnt come out for a couple more days), but just keep talking myself outta it. Ill have it in my cart and be filling out the billing info and then be like "Nah, Ill just wait and see".

I dont NEED it, but hot damn do I WANT it! I think Ill wait for it to come out and see which US vendors have it.

I kind of wish I got the Red/Black Asian Version...but If I dropped that kind of cash on it I would of gotten an Oblivion...the Vertex Mod I didnt like. I wish they would make a Castigador Styled Box but twice its height and made it 4 x 18650's...then it wouldnt be much bigger then a Hammond Box and still be holding a HOG sized punch.

Curious how that hammered twisted coil vapes on it's own, looks great. I've seen that style but never that flat looking.
theres a version of that which is twisted less (2-3mm spaced twists) they call a boneyard coil (it looks like skeleton arms). i love it for an easy build, its a cross between parallel and twisted in terms of performance. i find it chucks pretty well and tastes better than twisted or parallel. it ramps up and cools down pretty fast too.

I havent done a original boneyard in some time but Ive done variants since...

Yup, I was looking at the authentic Tres Equis boxes, like the thing enough I was considering it, but $230 just... no. Low hundreds, I would likely be a bit poorer right now with vape mail on the way, but I just can't drop over 2 bills on something when clones work as well as they do. At this point though I'm thinking I'm going to hold off a while, I don't have enough arms to vape all the toys and I still have a couple on the way.

Yeah that's what I've seen, but Chef does what he does and made it look (at least IMO) even prettier.

I just bought one used...like the HOG...as long as it checks out and it has proof its Authentic I dont mind if its used. Its not like I could buy the HOG brand new...

nice. i like the look of the square one. have you ever tried claptoning a really flattened out one? im curious how it will vape since its basically a fused clapton, but with a slightly better core setup (imo).

So is it like having 2 sets of 18650's in series, not 4 in series as in 4 x 4.2 = 16.8? As usual this electricity shit has me confused.

2S2P for the HOG V2 Para-Series
1S4P for the HOG V1 Quad Parallel

I'm maxing out my RX200... The math says it should be around 145 watts.
Doesn't the RX200 go up to 200? And it does so pretty well having 3 batteries in series. Or am I just thinking all weird?

If it works well and feels like its doing it then Ill buy one tonight instead of that 300w...
I'll have to try it with some staples in a different atty to see how much better it is. Not much difference with the So Horney. I'm actually not very impressed with the So Horney. It's built well for a clone, but it's really just a gimmick. Unless you want huge ass clouds, but I need to put a different build in it for that. This one just needs way too much power to be effective.

Well, what the math says is what it needs to be powered. Not what it needs to be effective. There's a lot of metal in this build.

I have all that except the Coo and the Lush. Oh well. Maybe I'll put it in the "Trading Post". I'll try a few more builds on it that don't need so much power.

Cleaned up pretty good. So... What's an ideal build for this?
