Rain rain go away!

You're making my upstairs bathroom ceiling collapse!

Not the way I wanted to spend my weekend.

It's just a slow little drip. Probably been coming for a while and just finally weakened it enough to wreak havoc now.

That sucks.
Nothing like a little rain to ruin your weekend.

For once I'm happy to live up north. It may be a little cold today, but no rain.
It rained a lot over the past few weeks, though. Y'all should have seen the mowing I had to do yesterday.

Hang in there, Southern Knuckles. <3

Did you get to ride a real live tractor and mow fields?

No. The farmer down the road mows our fields twice a summer for hay. But I did get to drive the tractor to haul a bunch of fallen tree limbs to the brush pile. And we have this old box vacuum thing that my grandfather rigged up about 30 years ago that we use to pick up all the leaves, so I'll get to do that in a few weeks. Beats raking. And I can't believe the thing still works. Grandpa was a Redneck Macguyver.
Yee Haw.

Going to ranch to see baby calves and family today, and hang out with my cousin who stars as a judge in Forged In Fire on History channel.

What's his name again bear? We don't have cable, but while we were at the beach they kept showing commercials for that show and I wondered which one was him.

I've been using my old dibi since I burned up my pinch in April. Never sent it back to Peter to fix.

We'll, I fixed it myself today. Still looks burnt but working great.

He's David Baker, sits in the middle, good looking with gray hair/beard. He's a 'historical weapon recreation specialist.' Lived in LA all his life, wanted to act, had a few roles, but found his calling making swords etc for Hollywood movies. Somehow got into this and it's awesome :)

Id probably figure out some way to Bork it.

Figured out why I'd been going through so little juice. Dibi hits at a fraction of the pinch. Forgot how hard it hit. Blowing clouds again.

I had 3 peko kits setting here and finally used the 510 from one to get the pinch running again.

so cute, other than when she's huffin and a puffin and a wakin my butt up at 430 for cuddles... I love ya Satie Vae, But I love sleep too... I decided Im gonna wake her up randomly through the day, then when she finally stands up, ill take a nap.
Good thing she is adorable so you don't get angry when she awakens you early! I got a chuckle out of your plan but I don't think it will have the desired effect. She will just accept it as extra attention, wag her tail and cuddle up with you to share a nap.

Is your last name Monsanto?

If I was ever gonna try hydroponics, it would be for the home grown tomatoes.

Morning Saint!
I have a hydroponics setup I haven't used in a couple years. Need to figure out a place to set it back up.

My setup doesn't do tomatos great. I want to get a year round supply of herbs and peppers going. Really want to start experimenting with making my own seasonings more.

Good morning, Knuckles!

Like embee, I'm so glad I am north and hope that any of you dealing with Hurricane Matthew are safe and sound. I saw pictures today of Myrtle beach and can't believe how high the flooding got......the whole way out to King St. and that is the main road that we drove going up to Ocean Isle. I hope the area recovers quickly.

Mr. Mike is going to be suffering a bit today.....lol We had an 80th birthday celebration for his aunt yesterday. Anytime we get together with his cousins the guys put down the drinks......Well, before we left he had had a number of pivos during the PSU game and then drank more along with some shots. When he started singing on the drive home, I knew he was going to have a rough Sunday........the man has been in the bathroom all morning and I bet I don't see the whites of his eyes until about 3pm. He isn't a spring chicken anymore......but, he still tries to party with them.....lol

I, on the other hand..... being the designated driver, was up at 5am, groceries bought by 6am, dishes done, huge pot of Italian Spinach and Tortellini Soup on, half my orders made for the day and ready to get a walk in........Love the crisp cool autumn mornings and 43°F is awesome soup weather!!!

Poor domesticated hombre!
I don't see him wanting a big bowl of that soup either.
Good thing we went to the beach a week earlier.
I woke up at 5:30 and took the dogs out. Told my wife I was gonna lay down for another hour. Then, promptly slept till 9:00. Haven't slept that late since I partied like Mr. Mike!

He wouldn't eat that soup even if he wasn't hung over........lol It's all put away so he doesn't even have to look at it.

Glad you did get to sleep in! It makes for a wonderful Sunday!

She's supposed to plan the second one so that's a plus I guess. We'll see if it actually happens lol. A trip to Home Depot and sushi was the order of the night.

What's up with the big, fat, poopy pants jerk?
Just stoopid. Insists I go get lectured by a talk therapist. After mum's accident.

I don't talk. A therapist will take the 3 words i actually say and rant for an hour about how i don't know how to life

Nice, between hydro and diy spices, your all set to get your mad scientist on! I would like to cook more, I did when I was younger and really enjoyed it. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to afford to eat and I can start again...

Yeah I hear that. Everyone is all "you seem like you might have PTSD" and I'm all "me and my P-T-S-D are going for a w-a-l-k with the d-o-g so just b-u-z-z o-f-f!"

I kid of course, I still struggle when I hear Mom talk about when she was having 'coma dreams' (which in any other scenario would be hilarious) or when she just woke up from the coma and wasn't quite in touch with reality yet, so she had a hard time discerning reality from Propafal Dream land. I'm finally getting to the point that I'm considering actually :gulp: talking about my feelings... yikes
