Won't be for a long time if ever now. Got a call from my doc and surgery for the hip is June 13th. This means all trips are canceled while I'm on medical leave.
This also means that I will be able to put on shoes and socks, walk, get in/out of vehicle, etc without pain. Wow what a concept...

My back yard is a menagerie and mowing is a pain with all the babies about.
Very proud of Herk..he is very gentle and quiet around them. Was afraid he would go all wolf on them but he just sniffed and stared at them. The baby robin was struggling to get back to the bush and Herk (with me right beside him ..just in case I had to grab him) herded him to where he needed to go.…even with mom and dad robin dive bombing us…and a third robin which made us wonder what those 3 kinky robins had going on.…a red breasted 3 way????
