Simple solution to wanting better LEO's, stop f&cking complaining and become one. Be a good officer, put yourself in their shoes. Especially in a time like this when almost everyone hates them and think they know laws better then they do.

And if you really have that big of an issue, don't use their services it's that simple. Someone robs you, beats you senseless, murders someone you know solve it yourself don't ask for their help. Because their always good guys when you need their help but not when you don't.

I say this because I have tons of friends that are in law enforcement and are scared to go to work, scared to get gas or use the bathroom for fear of getting shot.

And why are they dicks? They deal with tons of people on a daily basis who hate them, who attempt to hurt them. People who look like you and I and when they approach them draw weapons and intend to hurt them when all they wanted to tell you was to slow down or arrest you for that warrant you have on you for skipping court or commuting a crime.

Our experience when we heard the gunshot disagrees with you. Those were definitely not good guys, to treat people reporting a crime as if they themselves were the criminals.

Okay so a bad apple, we as people who Vape should understand this more then anything. Someone blows themselves up because they aren't smart enough to know how to Vape safely, want to be grouped with them?

A few cops shot someone for no reason, means all of them are bad right? Or as you put it 95% of them, so I'm assuming you've met more then 891,000 officers to make a statement that 95% are bad...

And do you know everything that went down that led to the officer discharging said firearm? Or just what the news wants to show and chooses to play from the footage they might of gotten?

It reminds me a recent story, someone sends news a 30+ second clip of 2 officers tackling a guy while the put him in cuffs. Said news station airs it, the police chief rebuttals with the body cams and dash cams that show said guy try to reach for officers gun and then tries to assault them.... But yah shame if the officers for protecting themselves.

The only unarmed shooting that the people did not warrant getting smoked were those Asians ladies delivering papers when that one bug fuck crazy cop went wiggy.

All the recent ones... ya they were not fucking saints of the streets. Criminals doing criminal shit.. play stupid games win stupid prizes.
Oh and in before anyone says the dude in MN was a upstanding citizen.. he DID NOT have a concealed license, he was also riding dirty.

On top of dealing with pricks all day they also drive thru the worst parts of any given area, they do it for shit pay. And I can guarantee it that if you're driving thru said area and your car breaks down you're going to be praying a cop comes along while you wait for a tow truck.

Been in those areas where you will not get pulled over for running reds or stop signs if you are white.
In fact I have been police escorted out of those areas for stopping at stop signs.

I judge if they are douche bags from the first words out of their mouth.
If they approach me like a douche bag they get douche bag responses.
I kind of fuck with their cop brains just on the looks department.
I can see the hampster spinning wildly on the wheel wondering if they could take me... then it dawns on them it MIGHT not actually be a good idea to try.

Don't come to my area with that attitude, the majority of officers up here are corn fed farm boys like myself.

If they act like thugs they get treated like thugs, badge no badge or shagging drawers.
99% of cop interactions with here are on the up and up, the bad ones are the little man syndrome fools that run their cock sockets and the angry lesbians.
100% of that 1% of bad interactions has cost those bad one their jobs.

Don't start nothing, there won't be nothing.

Very true, every officer was a rookie once. It takes a few interactions to know them off their pedestal or make it get higher.

This country is going to hell real fast, people wonder why officers are becoming "trigger" happy. Maybe it's the fact that any call they get now a days could easily be a ambush and any time they watch/read the news a brother in blues in it for either getting attacked or being dragged thru the dirt.

Sent from my Toaster using Tapatalk
right, but they supposed to be nice and make sure they say please and thank you
- get a call that they going to meet up with an armed suspect, then they better have the firearm drawn and indexed.
I love that dude so much. DINO all the way but is not afraid to fuck a bitch ass rat piece of shit like Don Lemon up verbally.
I bet you he was just barely able to keep from going all smack a bitch on ole lemon.
I'm sure her wanted to throat punch the guy!

Mine always wear armor, on top of it now many are also carrying multiple mags along. All the ones in my town know me as they've all stopped by my house at one time or another when I've been outside since I fly a thin blue line flag along side my American flag.

Oh and my bottom Windows have a 3%'er flag and a stand with blue poster.

Like I said I legit have like 20+ friends that are officers.

not sure what they meant exactly by more hardware, but a lot of them already had shotguns and/or rifles in the unit.
I don't even have 20 friends- lmao!!

Lol all my friends are either current military or former military and now law enforcement(multiple divisions).

I'm the odd one out of the bunch, no prior military experience.

one of my best friends is a retired NOPD officer- retired 7 years ago when he was 32 because he was shot twice in the head, once in the neck and twice in the chest while he was walking to court.
he now runs a non - profit to help wounded officers and their families.

I can't think of the last time an officer has been shot here and same for an officer shooting someone. Murders are rare here, but it's slowly coming to an end. A lot of NYC sh&t bags are coming here to peddle H.... They don't realize how many rednecks carry here yet.

Topic change for just a moment (or a day) of frustration. It ends better.

So, DOG is being rude today. She pounced on my cat (the one that's sick), she knocked me down outside when I was climbing steps to get back into the house, fucked up my wrist and shoulder. A little while ago, she gets startled, jumps, knocks into my computer, lands on the cat (again), he goes staggering off blindly. I set my computer back up.

No, the computer isn't sideways. The screen is. (Thankgod for googles.)

So we go outside, to blow off steam and have a good vape. Then I see this.

Sometimes, the world pisses us off. Sometime little things feel like big things. Sometimes big things are pretty scary. But, sometimes there's a lot of beauty for just one good minute.

My husband isn't even a police officer but he wears a security uniform that is VERY similar and you know, he works at Delta Downs. What if some psycho came to Vinton, LA and decided to shoot cops? Do you think if they saw him buying a coffee they actually take a moment to notice that HE'S NOT? They wouldn't. They'd kill him. For NOTHING.

That's what ppl seem to be missing (or intentionally ignoring). The men who lost their lives in Dallas/Baton Rouge weren't monsters. They were just PEOPLE. Regular human beings with a dangerous as fuck job. Men with wives and children and families.

Don't make these shootings about *ALL POLICE ARE BAD THEREFORE* IT'S NOT. It's looking and realizing that these men were not ALL POLICE. They were human beings with as much right to live and raise their families as everyone else.

Yes. Some ..I repeat SOME police are dicks but they are (as with pretty much everything else in life) the MINORITY.

MOST Police are good, decent hard working HUMANS. Do they make mistakes? Yes. Have bad days and take frustration out on someone they pulled over by being rude or harsh? Yes. Of course they do. They are just human. Like we all are.

They deserve our gratitude not a bunch of finger pointing jerkoffs standing around having NO FUCKING CLUE what their job is like telling them they should do better.

Normally I don't get involved on these debates because it's ultimately pointless but I know police. I've known both good and bad but the vast majority were good people.

I worked in a prison for 4 years. I was a Correctional Officer and I know what it feels like to have everyone think your a bad, horrible person because of what you do.

If it weren't for police (and CO'S for that matter) criminals would run rampant. Imagine a world where the police REALLY didn't exist. Would you want to live in it? I sure as hell wouldn't.

We done putting cops on a pedestal now?
"Oh my, what a dangerous job they have. How underpaid they are. blah, blah blah."

I don't hear anyone piping up about the guy pulling guts out of chickens so you can eat your chicken dinner, or anything about the guy who works in the sewer plant so when you shit, your toilet flushes.

It's a JOB. They chose the job. You aren't special because you work.

Far too many "occasional bad apples" and their brothers are doing nothing to get them out, nor is the legal system doing anything to hold them to the standard of the law.

So while I don't support these murders being committed, I also understand the frustration people have BECAUSE of the actions taken over the recent years against the citizens.
There are times the bully gets his ass handed to him.

Totally agree. Even about it not being right that so many of them are getting shot -- they surely don't deserve that, even if they're "bad apple" cops -- they may deserve to lose their jobs or even face criminal charges, but being shot is not the sentence for any crime, not even murder. They do stand for law and order, and I respect that, even if individual cops behave in a manner not deserving of respect -- I would still try my best to SHOW them respect, for the simple reason that they're wearing a gun, and apparently have society's blessing on using it at will. Mouthing off to a cop is a great way to see the inside of a jail... or get killed.

But what you said about it being their job -- RIGHT ON. Nobody gets drafted to be a cop of any stripe. Excusing brutality in the name of "keeping cops safe" -- BULLSHIT. They knew it was a dangerous job when they signed up for it, they don't get to cry about how dangerous it is. If they want a job that isn't so dangerous, then they don't need to be a cop, and should seek other employment.
