I received my two cheap frosted haku caps from FT. After almost 2 hours of hand polishing, first with headlight cleaner and followed by Meguiar's PlastX, this is the result:
Compared again:
Too much like work and my fingers are too old for this crap but
I think I see a difference. Maybe not a polished bell cap but not bad.

Aye, but after you suck the vape out it clears up and makes over squonking almost impossible. I love me some clear caps.

It's Nickel, nichrome has a ton, 316L SS has a tad. Kanthal has none *phew*
Same for me with Nichrome, 2 days to recover from a handful of puffs from an N80 coil, SS takes longer but causes discomfort long term. I'm in a monogamous relationship with Kanthal now, we both like it that way.
Edit: Weeble Wobbles wobble but they won't fall down!

Curious about it to - but of yet have not been motivated enough to fork over $5 or whatever to try it out

For me it comes down to taste - can't stand the metal taste I get from kanthal at any setting.
All metals I've tries so far give off an metal taste under .5 ohms - but I have ridiculously acute sense of smell
