I don't know what it is, but when I do ANY kind of clapton, it's like 50/50 for me. Just had a build that was good day one, but then I had to rip it out tonight. It was like something "went bad" flavor wise - just really "off". And this was clapton wire from Advanced...
Anyway, tonight I stuck to a "standby"...tired of messing around, these devices deserved a known good vape.
So it's simple, and I KNOW the "Cruiser" has room for bigger builds...tough shit. I threw this together nice and easy and it's perfect.

About to give up on Haku clone took Clapton out put in parallel 24 ni 80 6 wrap in an much better. Guess fused Clapton ain't for every atty.

Pretty much exhausted my squonk options for now, can't get much better than what I'm rocking. I do have my eye on a couple things but they won't be released for a month or two.
Annnd as a format for traveling squonking is not my favorite. Leaving in a few months so the timing is right, excited to see what the Billet Box fuss is all about after all these years. Now that they're readily available on the website ...the pull is too strong!

Ouch... when I put the fused clapton I mentioned above in, with legs down... I don't position it any lower... legs come off parallel to the deck... just center it to the AF and vape away.
Zero spit back...I mean, it can happen, if you almost over squonk and then take a rip...will get a mouth full, but that goes for any atty
especially if you take a rip like I do...pure DTL
Oh that’s a bummer. Mine ohms out to around .35 so it’s not very rowdy... I also close down the airflow about half

I got really into the BBs in the spring and was pretty active over there in that thread. At one point I had three of the SXK Billets and now I’m down to my last one. I’m tempted to unload it in order to find more Squonk gear but then I remember how much I like the mod lol.

Umm the top voltage out from a 75 is 6 volts I thin and 9 for the 75C?
A 1.8 coil will only do 20 watts on a 75.
36 watts max for a 1 ohm coil.

That’s why I like the 60 over the 75, the 60 has a higher max voltage output like the 75c.
About too cold here for fire to work.
75c isn't all improvements though
they added things like a sleep mode that makes first fire delay if it sits for an hour or more, with no way to turn that off
i prefer the 75 standard, but that is just me

The so-called "improvements" just suck down the battery faster for my style of vaping
I have yet to buy a DNA device for 2 reasons.
1. Just too fiddly I like things simple for my vaping.
