One could go that route, just don't see a performance increase for the cost difference since it's going to a buck converter.
It was more of a curiosity of going hard wired rather than twisted, would definitely save some sanity using 14g twisted copper though.

The wire sleeves look to be melted together blk an red , i know he said sealed in hot glue but maybe if switchfet was kind cut a little into the wood then just sealed . Like the colour an what hes trying to do , but but , hmm id be put off by that , and if didnt want to cut hole in door could of gone with button to Sqounk still hole its. Door would be covered by a smaller sqounker door

I'd pick the Jorda... I was looking on their site of the Pelso and it doesn't look like you'd really be able to turn the AF down... going from this picture...
Left to right 1-5...
The options are single coils/dual...use 1, 4, 5 is a must... 2 and 3 are dependent on your coil(s)...
Looking at 4 there doesn't seem much of an adjustment between the AF holes to dial it in to exactly where one would like...seems you have to live with the predetermined holes

Tbh, if I receive my mod, I really have nothing to complain about. The white not being shipped (lost?) actually worked to my benefit. Also the 2nd batch for the ultem isn't even due to be ready for 6 more weeks but he is hooking Socal and me up due to the problems. So other than irritation and a bit of stress... no big deal for me. If I get my ultem mod.

I saw the caps for the Pelso and I guess one could buy the corresponding cap for the AF they like after using the stock rings first and be done with it.
I am sure both would be a wonderful vape, I'd still be inclined to get the Jorda though... what threw me off on the Pelso was how many pieces to a cap there were in comparison... 4 to 2. ( not including DT ) but as you pointed out...can grab a cap and both would be 2 piece.
Guess it comes down to Single Coil or optional Dual Coil set up... reduced chamber or open chamber.

Would be nice to be able to keep it... I would do the solder myself to see if its just a bad solder job or not.
But the honest guy in me can't just steal from the goof...as the bad customer service others have had with him, I haven't had it. Sure I got the wrong color way mod(although the color I originally ordered) which he blames dispatch (its ultimately him, I digress ) and one that hits like a noodle lol...but he is making it right (Pending) and I haven't had the issues the others have had with awful communication or lack of, or as Jason noted above, just a thumbs up lol.
Its been a long time for a mod to be in my hands that has been paid for and I see the frustrations... Heck my luck may run out and the shipment for Monday will be like everyone else..."Collecting" (Knocks on Wood)
Worst case scenario I don't get the mod, he refunds me... and I buy it direct from Bar a Brume and see it in 5 days from purchase, just as I did with my Neo Mara lol

Well guys just a heads up and update. My neofet arrived today. And as of tonight with mod in hand, my tracking still hasn’t updated. So don’t loose hope I guess for the people who’s tracking hasn’t updated. On a side note I now want to trade/sell it as I am not really happy with the way it vapes. I don’t know if it’s just mine but I feels like it has a tremendous amount of voltage drop.

Yeah it pretty much hits like a wet noodle due to the 510 he uses from what I have read. For all this shit I am beyond disappointed. Wish I never signed up to be honest.
SoCal my tracking never updated. Not a single time. It just shows up at my house today delivered. Even now it still says collecting.
Then I guess I wont mail him back the White one til my Ultem one arrives
