OK guys. I am ready to buy another tank. Which one though? I have been following the thread for awhile but lately have been confused. I have been in and out of the hospital for some chronic health problems. I am taking a trip to a specialist down in NYC in about a week and will be there at least a week depending on what can be done. So I will be spending a lot of time in the hotel. So I am mainly a flavor chaser, I do not build my own and want to be able to use ni200 coils. Please help, thank you in advance. I was thinking of the thunderstruck or the new one with 3 coils, I forgot the name now though.

I'm leaning toward the Starre Pro or Silo Beast. But, by the time I'm able to buy another tank there may be something else at the rate they are getting cranked out.

Wow the artic surprised me!!! I picked on of the up for my gf. She was using Atlantis V1 and I thought she needed something with better flavor. She started using my starre but I wanted to use it lolol. She doesn't vape much so I thought the 3.5 ml would suit her. I like 5ml tanks because I am a heavy vaper. Well she hated it. So I put in the .25 ni200 coil on top of my sig 75. Damn the flavor at 515 degrees 50 w is amazing. I like a tighter draw so it suits me pretty good other than small capacity IMO. Just wanted to share that lol

I like a tighter draw too but really need the 5 ml also. I will look into it though. I have read a lot of good reviews on the arctic.

I have the silo, tct, arctic, as well as other various tanks. The crown beats the tar out of all of em. It was between the crown and the herakles this time. I'm beyond happy I got the crown.

Have a IPv3 Li, Silverplay RTA and A1 Ti wire coming from Fasttech

Also going to rebuild the Yocan 94F as TC 'dry content' vaping

Also grabbed some 32g Ni200 to (4 strand) double braid to testing.

Just playing the waiting game now ....

Still happy with my Kanger Mini as a rebuilable. Although the deck on that thing is ridiculously small.

'Pancaking wick' method alleviates the dry hits quite well.

I hear you Mark, my Silver IPV3 Li is my go to device and I don't need much of a push to get another 1. The Li VR in Black is calling me ;)
I like mine so much I'm planning on ordering at least one more

Pulled the trigger today on the T-VCT subtank, RBA section and a pack of NI200 coils .25 ohms. This should be a good buy based on all the reviews and comments I have read about it.... I will update this one I get my hands on it and take it for a test spin. The 6mls and top fill are a huge bonus for me who loves and does chain vape...

Depending on if you build your own coils..... you could build a higher resistance coil in a good RTA and vape it at low power and get some pretty amazing flavor. I am not sure of any tanks with stock coils that would beat it out

Yes, that is correct. I have no issues with RTA's, build them all the time. I was inquiring about a subtank. I normally don't go that route. So, was seeing if any of the newer ones are any better than the mini at a comparable wattage range.

Not sure what wattage you're looking to run, but my OBS T-VCT puts out good flavor, and vapor at 20-30 watts using either the .5 or .25 dual coils. I run mine now mostly in TC with the Ni200 coil at 30 Joules 420-450F and the flavor is great!

I'm seriously in love with this RTA, I have two, and plan to buy a couple more. Also, want to try out a Tobeco super tank.
That makes me feel better bout my purchase. What kind of builds do u use on the RBA ?

I'm using the OBS coils for now, plan on buying the RBA deck soon though since I now have some titanium wire to build with.

Just ordered the black one w/ rba also. Good luck to both of us:)
Congrats to you. We will have to compare notes with each other. The RBA may be the area that needs some fine adjusting but hopefully it works great for both of us. Just checked my tracking and it now been delayed one day. Set for delivery now tomorrow. UGH
That black one sure looks great with the While Alien engraved on the side doesnt it. It will look nice on top of my sig 75 or D2

I agree. I was on the fence till I noticed they had it in black. Yeah, noticed the size of the deck for the rba. I started building my coils smaller for flavor. Looks like I will benefit from making the change.

That black version does look nice and betting it will be a great performer. I have been building 2.5 mm on my billows with nickle in order to get enough resistance. will have to get use to smaller diameter coils lololol . Yes it does look like you will benefit from already making that change. Do you plan on using TC with your new RBA and tank?

I will definitely try my Ti on the rba deck. You will have to let me know how the Ni200 coils perform.

I have been using TI for a week now in my billows V2 and am somewhat disappointed. For some crazy reason, my coils are only lasting a few days. Probably going to go back to Nickle in that tank for a bit till I figure it out. The single deck on the VCT will probably be easier since I will only be dealing with one coil vs dual coils. I am excited to try their own NI200 coils. Havent found many people who have reviewed them but I suspect they will be a real winner esp for those time you need to grab and go and dont have time to screw around with a build or wicking....

Really? I wonder why - I still have the same coils I put in it when we talked, and they show no sign of wearing out. I find Ti coils last forever, unlike Ni!

I know it seems really strange. Everything I have read talks about how long they last etc.... One set had a leg broke off (probably my fault but it did last a full day), the second set yesterday started tasting very strange. Checked resistance it was all over the place. took it apart and they looked like crap. I went to dry fire it at low wattage, and one coil immediately glowed hotter than lava, then turned the dreaded white. So I pulled them out, cleaned the entire system in the UC and left it to fully dry. I am not exactly sure what I am doing wrong nor can I explain it really that makes any sense. I thought maybe I should restart again with just single coil to get a better feel for what I am doing. Then once I get a single coil working good for more than a day lolol, then start again with dual. I really do love the Billows so I am going to try a Nickle build in it this weekend to see how those do. Who knows maybe there is something going on with the Billows that is killing the coils but I suspect its my noobie building skills with TI.....

I just dry burned mine and rewicked (yup stupid thing leaks sometimes!). But I'm using 26 gauge. I wonder if your screws are cutting into the wire?

I found the wicking to be temperamental at times. I have either gotten too much which resulted in a muted dry flavor or too little causing the hot spit back. So far I have had good luck using the Native Wicks cotton. Flavor was great while the coils lasted. I have 26 too and I made sure to tighten those little screws up so maybe a little too much cut through the wire. That would make sense to me..

To do a process of elimination, I thought I would go back to NI200 just to be sure its not the billows giving me heartburn lololol. Gotta say I sure do miss it as my daily vape gear.... Using sub-ohm tank (silo beast today) with NI200 but the Billows is just purely heaven to me

I was tired of the leaking, but I watched a video where he stuffed a little bit of cotton (I use rayon) around the posts, separately from the wicks. My tank isn't low enough to tell if it's successful, but so far it's a very good, flavorful vape!

Very cool. I usually do that all with one wick by creativity trimming. Lol

Am I the only one who has to use pliers to open mine???
I don't have to use pliers but I do have to work for it. I don't tighten mine down as hard as I did the first time. They can be boogers to get back apart.

Now I can't get it undone even with pliers.....guess it's time for the freezer!

Just ordered the black one w/ rba also. Good luck to both of us:)
Finally got the vct fired up today (been a hectic last few days) so far I've only gotten to try the ni200. 25 coil. I have it at 510 degrees 35w on sig 75. It's a very nice n smooth vape. Flavor is the best of most of my other tanks if not all of them. The top fill works great and the juice control is a very cool addition. Airflow is a little on the restrictive side which I like but it's still turned down a little bit. It vapes very similar to my billows v2 rta in terms of flavor and airflow. I hope to get into the RBA section later this week. For now I will enjoy the stock nickle coil in this with my fav cantaloupe game over custard and my ti build on the billows v2 with a crunchy PB vape just created.

Well, I built a kanthal coil on the RBA deck to try it out. Using 26g, I had a rough time using the screws to secure it. After I used the post holes, it went together fine. 26 gauge kanthal, 7 wraps at 2mm gave me .75 ohms. Really flavorful vape and decent clouds even at 20 watts. I will try Ti the next time I rebuild it.
Overall, so far I am very pleased with it. The top filling setup on this is a dream.

Great thanks for the feedback. I plan on trying it with 26g TI. The wicking looks like it could be a pita

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying the T-VCT's!
Very weird. Love the tank but ni200 coil makes me wonder. Ran it today at 34 watts 510 degrees. Now l
Flavor gone. Took coil out its all junked up. Maybe too hot. New coil in. Gonna run 470 f at 26 to see how that goes.
