The Orca would be an interesting one to own.....

And I'm glad to see that Augvape has still decided to carry on releasing new atty's. :)

And I wonder if our missing in action Roxy has had any thing to do with this one?
Whether she has or not this is another one I'm going to have to add to my list of most buys, will it never end :D

I sold a lot of stuff on Sunday at the flea market, I kept my most liked items...... I rented the booth for $65.00 and sold $3,757 worth of Vape gear..... I sold everything for what I paid for...... My booth was cooking...... All kinds of characters...... This stuff here is what I kept and always live to use......

Interesting folds on the ribbon in that center one. How'd you do that?

One issue I can see with it is the placement of the airhole, in my opinion I think it should be slightly larger and be in the centre of the 2 coils or 2 holes at the centre of both coils.
But I would have thought it is still in development so the design might change.
Another minor issue would be the size of the coil holes, I wonder if they are large enough for everyone?
But definitely one to watch out for :)

Its called the "Tsuka Wrap" Just twisting the Ribbon wire in a drill. You want the beginning of a twist and end of a twist to be at the edges of yhour cores...thats how you estimate how much to twist the Ribbon.

Damn can anybody setup a group buy?
Finally got hold of Augvapes directly.................$20 dollar initial shipping (not sure for what size or weight) no pricing on products yet, they want to know what I want...

Anybody know how to set up a group buy or the such (I don't have a clue or any experience at that)? I'm betting that if we could order in quantities of 10 to 100 items each we could get some pretty good pricing....tanks we want, massive amounts of spare parts, etc....Then maybe we could "Hoard" a very significant amount for a bit better price, something us "poor people" need.

Just some thoughts I'm bouncing.....if I had the funds I'd order a couple of hundred Boreas and a like amount of Merlins, spare oring kits, glass, etc and sell them to members, but....................................I'm way too poor (retired here) to do so....

Sorry just thinking out loud....................

And a very interesting looking deck as well :)

I like this! Love the size of the deck and way the coils would be mounted and especially the way it allows more threads on the grub screws allowing a better grip on the wire's..really important for the Porn coils to function correctly......
But looks like that baby would take some real amounts of wicking (and lots and lots of juice) and careful wicking at that.................a bottom pumping feed would almost be needed!!

Meh, I've got the Modfather for my "fun" tank. It kicks butt, some real serious ass!

Here's a review of it

I was going to buy one, but last week when I contacted them and asked for a black one, they told me it was being produced to give them time........ I have no patience...... So I got the alpha BFT and I'm glad I did......... Bought it on eBay for $25.00...... Good deal

$25, yep that is a good deal.
I was actually looking at the BFT but no AFC was a deal killer for me.

Keep an eye on the Modfather, I very highly recommend it. Not the flavor of the Boreas, but not bad flavor at all. My top two favorite tanks are the Boreas and the Modfather, I can't put one above the other due to they actually serve two different roles. Boreas best all around Tank, great flavor, holds lots of juice, sexy as hell and is my #1 go to tank. Now the Modfather, looks great on my 26650 tube mod's, good flavor and it really kicks some serious cloudage. It's my "fun" tank. When I want to get annoying I pop it on either my 26650 series mod or crank up the wattage on my Reuleaux. Both of them no issues with leaking, easy to wick, built well and they are my two favorite tanks.

Nah, different wattage's, different builds, different juice all require different air flow ;)

I laid it on the side all night....... No leaks.....

Same with the Modfather, no issues with leaking. It does only hold 9ml of juice. But the large build deck and also it fitting so well on my 26650 Tube Mod's is the reason I got it. It really is built very, very well. I'm very impressed with it. It fills and exceeds everything the VCMT was supposed to do, the VCMT just pisses me off. I've got 2 25mm and 1 30mm, they're just sitting back collecting dust, they're my nuclear option if need be.

Me, a 30mm Boreas with a Natural post deck ;)
Man these velocity decks are so easy to build.... I just drilled the BFT deck to 3mm post holes......and replaced phillips to hex grubs....

Hi...I REALLY hope someone can't help me here. Just made an account to post...HI!!!

Anyway, I have a new Boreas (my second one). LOVE it...but...this second one has a seized deck.

I just opened it from the packaging and it's impossible to get the deck free to build. I have yanked it on the 510 thread with channel locks...put it in a large vice wrapped in a rag (clamped very tight...to the point of discomfort) and stuck a 1/4 extension into the bottom piece and SLAMMED the deck from the top with a hammer. By now, I'm sure this deck is ruined somehow and there are now scars on the brand new JC area.

IT STILL HASN'T COME OFF! This is a major bummer and I don't know what's left to try that won't totally destroy the damn thing.

Help?

Others have put their tanks in the freezer for 10 minutes I think, try that?

I'll try it...but is this common to struggle this much with the decks? To smack it with a punch and hammer and it still be stuck in there is absurd.

I mean, this seems like a pretty big flaw. I now have a brand new tank that's so far useless and scratched now. I just tried to yank out the deck on the other one that I'm currently using...seems like it's also going to be a PITA/impossible.

Bummed.

I'll catch up with the thread in a while, but I gotta say this Boreas is the best atomizer I have ever used.
I threw sum twisted SS316 in there and Boom! Flavor!!! Youll get annoyed by the thick dense vapor it produces lol. Very surprising amount of clouds.
I thought avocado 24 was my favorite and now the Boreas kicks its ass. But the avocado produces different type of experience. So you gotta have both.

Nice! What gauge ss316L did you twist?

I read talk of someone wanting to or is going to start a group buy for some boreas gear (tank, glass and o-rings). Is this happening or going to happen? I just purchased my first and only boreas and received it last Friday and I'm enjoying it to the point that I'm afraid I'll fall in love with it and not be able to buy more later on.

Still trying to figure out how to wick and fill it correctly. So far I think I have the right amount of wick but time will tell.

That was me, but sadly I don't know how to do so...something the mods would have to set up I assume. I'd think a group buy for Boreas AND tank glass, o-rings, replacement decks, grub screws would be an outstanding idea.....and with the climate now I'd think a group buy for Griffin 25's and some of the other tanks that everyone loves and has would be good also...........we don't know if anything will still be available as I haven't heard ANY of the Chinese companys say or indicate they will make submissions to the FDA......

.........the silence from them is deafing.................listen for a pin to drop..............

I'd guess that setting it up to include the Merlin and the same replacements backups might be in order to.......but with the "Climate in Vaping" right now, not sure anything like this could succeed.....

IF I had the D'Niro I'd do it and sell the stuff out to others, but can't do that on my Disability Income....I couldn't afford to order it all and the logistics of doling it out escapes my expertise (and vaping's cheap compared to cigs and I damn sure can't afford those..one of the reasons I took up vaping initially)..............

I do know that I can get the Boreas from Augvape for $15 (they did email me back, finally).......................if I buy 10 at a time..with $20 shipping that would make them $17 apiece...........don't know what spare kits would cost....
