With the Asgard Mini, the cap is supposed to go all the way down so that it completely covers the lip around the bottom edge of the build deck. You just need to rub half a drop of juice onto the o-rings (just enough to make them shiny) before you wiggle the cap around until the little tabs on top of the build deck catch into the little notches inside the cap. You can actually feel it when the o-rings are sliding smoothly against the inside of the cap. If you try to force the cap on impatiently, the o-rings won't properly stay inside the grooves, which can damage the o-rings. The easiest way to do this right IME is to just push your two thumbs against the bottom of the deck in varying locations while at the same time also using your two index fingers against the top of the drip tip in order to keep the RDA from slipping out of your hands. Doing this will also enable you to keep the airflow setting from changing in the process, as holding the drip tip is what keeps the ultem insert from turning itself. Once the RDA is screwed onto your mod, you can adjust the airflow properly by turning the cap. But, because turning it anti-clockwise causes the thing to unscrew from the mod, when you put the cap on you might want to start off by making sure the ultem insert stays oriented such that the cap will need to be turned clockwise to make the adjustment after that. :p

Be prepared, I soaked both pieces in industrial pain stripper and it didn't do a thing!
I had to use my Dremel with a sanding wheel to get it off.

Good to know. I was going to start with an acetone bath then take it to the buffing wheel. I think I will start with some fine grit sand paper first instead. Thanks for the tip!

If you can turn mine into that, that would be awesome, and I would love to see it ;)
I just got it in today, and that is the one that I plan to do. She has extra doors from her old broken mod, so I am not out anything if it goes poorly. I will post some pics when it is complete.

Apparently that is not paint at all. That shit is some sort of rubber. And it sticks like it's got a will to live. I don't have access to a camera at the moment, but I got it finished (kind of). I ran out of sandpaper, so there is still a couple gouges from the dremel and where her mod took some serious spills before, but it still looks great. I may go back over it later when I get some more sandpaper, not sure yet.

I will get a pic later. And thanks for the idea gadget. Much appreciated!

That looks great! Oddly enough I got the all black because I didn't like any of the two tone ones, but I really like the silver with black.
I agree. The only issue now is that the wife likes the gouges that I didn't get out yet and wants it how it is. But it is killing me not being able to finish the job. I was so close to a mirror finish...
