Rock hunting. Always looking for good looking rocks just incase we want to use them in a project.
Herbal salads (dandelion, red clover, white clover etc) or regular lettuce salads?

I'd be afraid to eat a foraged mushroom, but it is fun to find mushrooms growing here and there after a really rainy season, which is rare here in south Texas. A true story from my life, within the past year: once on a daily walk, at one of the houses I saw a tote bag sitting among the trash bins, open at the top. I could see it contained rocks. I peeked in and noticed these rocks had fossil imprints. I wanted, I lusted, I drooled. Is this trash, I wondered, or did the owner dash back inside to get her sunglasses or something?
I decided I should leave it for the moment. Back home, I waited for the trash truck to come and go, then walked back down to that house. The tote was still there! MINE, ALL MINE. I picked it up (heavy!) and brought it home. OMYGAWD, all sorts of interesting rocks and crystal points. The fossil rocks have imprints of some kind of scallop shell. I still have all of them.
As for the salad question, I'm adventurous, but foraging in the inner city is limited. I love crunchy juicy lettuce with some spring mix and parsley mixed in.
Next question: Politics, or religion?
