It also didn't read 'send us your hatred, your ilk, your suicide bombers, your mass shooters, your thieves, your murderers, your rapists'. It's not fair to say that all people are this way or that way but there's definitely a glaring commonality that seems to surface in regards to the refugees. The UK has issues, France has issues now, as does Germany, as does the US, Canada.
It used to be when you turned on the news it was '(fill in the blank middle east nation) warring with (ditto)' and followed by footage of people being shot in the streets, people panicked and fleeing, blood and bodies everywhere, soft targets hit hard, buildings in rubble. Now that so many 'refugees' have been taken in, we turn on the news and people are screaming and fleeing, bodies strewn about, buildings in ruins - in the UK, the US, Germany, France, Canada.
The argument is 'we just want a better life, we are peaceful people'. Well SOMEone's not peaceful are they? Obviously. Go ahead, turn on the t.v. and check out all the footage of carnage and suicide bombings in China, Russia, N Korea or Japan. There aren't any. So what is it they have that we don't? A secure border for one. No refugees for another. Maybe it's coincidence, what the hell do I know.
Go ask a cop in any one of the 50 states about picking up hitchhikers and they'll all echo the same. Don't do it. We understand you're just trying to be kind but it's not worth the risk. It could just be someone who needs a ride, it could be someone dangerous. It's not worth putting your family at risk. So why should our nation be any different? We're cruising along sucking up 'hitchhikers' like a fishing boat with a trolling net. It's ridiculous.
