@Geauxst can I make a suggestion for Post #2, so it's a bit easier to find a member's place on the list, and who has the box etc? I've laid the list out exactly as it is already, I only fixed the ordered list code so the box member's position number appears correctly and added some formatting for who received the box. all you have to do is click the 'wrench on paper' icon in upper right corner of reply box to "Switch to BBCode editor" then copy/paste everything between [ B ] and [/ B ] to the next box recipient when they get the box. I try to stay away from coloful post cause I had an issue in one box where a member couldn't read it due to a eye sight issue with multicolors and others argeed stating color blindness so I try and keep it away but if ppl agree then yeah I can do that

Yep basically. I edited the codes in my post up there to remove the color. Sometimes its much easier to just show what im asking rather than find words. This trucker actually used to work on the web, building and maintaining sites for over 5 years lol. Im a rare breed.

Lol yeah male lol don't sweat it much I feared the same thing but I always seem to find something worth 15$ to ship out and I look at my donations like this... No offense but its stuff I don't use so I don't care if I take out 20$ worth and put in 150$ of used equipment.... I wasn't gonna use it anyway its just collecting dust so I'm not out anything really.... So many ppl are like oh I can't take this mech cause its probably 50$ and this kayfun v1 is only worth 18$ .... Pisshhh trade it out cause what if I wanted to try a kayfun but didn't want to drop 18$ on something I'd hate.... Its the nature of this box... IMO its insane to try and keep things comparable in price... Cause who judges the value and is it online value or BnM value ... Too much red tape

Well it has been almost a week since beginning this journey with 28 strangers online, with the goal of getting to know these ppl ,share some vape gear, some vape knowledge, and having some fun along the way. I thought about this rereading the last 1124 or so posts and realized many of these old and new friends share my goals. I have watched pure acts of kindness, chattiness, and humor. so now for the good stuff....I wanted to start a weekly fun treat, just a small token and reminder of what i hope will be a great experience for each of you...Moma's gold star award:

this will be a weekly gift from me to you for random acts of kindness,support of others in our group, just a fun treat for posting support for others, or being helpful with questions...

Vaping locally dehydrates your mouth, throat, sinuses, and lungs. If your mouth and sinuses are dry, you won’t be able to taste/smell the vapor.

2. Try vaping menthol/cinnamon eliquids to shock your tastebuds.

3. There is always smelling some coffee grounds.

4. Chew/drink something ginger flavored, or something sour.

5. Might sound odd but swishing some pickle juice

6. I have heard some ruby red grapefruit juice helps some people
(Basically anything citrusy)

7. A few drops of tobasco sauce on your tongue.

Hopefully one of these suggestions helps you out.

Thanks Brian, I'm trying yo figure out if that's what it actually is. I can taste my juice but it is very muted. The constant taste of burntness(new word there ) is what concerns me. I'll put the question out in the community and see if anyone does. I know I can't be the only one to have experienced this!

I have found I have a sensitivity to certain flavors. They always taste great to my hubby, but just burnt to me. Juices with caramel, butterscotch, and buttery flavors taste burnt to me if I vape then at high wattages, I think because of the higher heat. I also have problems with smoky flavors like toasted nuts or toasted marshmallow tastes burnt to me. Are you vaping a newer flavor by chance? Or is it on your regular flavors as well?

Well, I vape 0mg, and can't tolerate nic anymore since chemo, so I vote for at least 1 bottle of 0 nic

This is what I was thinking... for example chocolate always gets a burnt flavor at my normal wattage... I usually have to drop it a little bit to not get that flavor... Also dropping the wattage made my flavor more intense on a new recipe I'm working on...

Please do not include concentrated nicotine because if the package were to be damaged it would be a hazard to ppl handling it.

Yes, your wattage can make a huge difference in taste. Start raising or lowering your wattage a little and testing with your juices. Some flavor notes pop at different temps, there is usually a "sweet spot" for each flavor. I have found I can taste different things in my juice that I didn't even realize was in there just by changing it a little.

and no worries @VapnJake, put whatever in there, I do think it's too dangerous to put straight nic in there, I don't want anyone getting sick. I do think a lot of people vape in the 0-6 range. There is nothing even saying there will be any left by the time I get it anyway Just put in whatever and have fun with it, I'm so happy you have decided to share your juice, it's fun to taste what others have developed.

I am on a mech mod actually, but i will start experimenting with different resistance now. I been sub ohming, and i might try to do some more relaxed builds to see if i like the flavors better.

I am just curious what nic level you are vaping cause with following the thread I am getting that you have started building your own coils as apposed to using the already made ones I have heard from a few people that sometimes if their nic level is too high they are getting like a burnt taste with everything! I would also suggest where you said that you were having a bit of trouble wicking that you make sure that your wicking material is not too tight where it is under the wire cause it can burn it only underneath the wire!

I am just curious what nic level you are vaping cause with following the thread I am getting that you have started building your own coils as apposed to using the already made ones I have heard from a few people that sometimes if their nic level is too high they are getting like a burnt taste with everything! I would also suggest where you said that you were having a bit of trouble wicking that you make sure that your wicking material is not too tight where it is under the wire cause it can burn it only underneath the wire!

i bet its the cotton being too tight. i had that problem when i started wicking, thinking that it needed to be alot, but i barely use any cotton these days. Just enough to touch the juice wells and i get way better flavor. I think my wick will last a good 4 or 5 days as long as i don't get a dry hit, but lately i can tell in advance how many hits I have until my mini haze will be giving a dry hit.

Haha got a chance to tinker with my rta yesterday, took your advice, followed your pics of your billow for a guideline, and finally got about 10 hits on that thing with NO leaking or dry hits! It all kinda went to shit after the ten hits and began to leak and burn :/... Haha but at least now I'm omw and can work on it! I did a 1 ohm single coil on it and those ten hits I did get rocked for flavour! Not bad clouds either! Thanks again man I'll get it down with some patience and practice lol

IF I were to put some DIY Juice in the PIF box... what NIC mg should I make it? I ussualy vape 3 mg and it seems most here are between 3mg and 6mg so I was thinking 3mg... what do yall think?

Edit: I suppose I could just make them all 0mg and include a small bottle of straight 100mg nic for you to make it whatever nic you like... any thoughts?

I get this a lot, since im a truck driver and can really only focus my attention on vaping one flavor at a time. Normally i drink coffee every morning, which does a bit to help the senses of smell and taste due to something in the coffee itself. Occasionally youll see a bowl of coffee beans at a vape shop... theyre there to help specifically with vapers tongue. Another thing they recommend to do is oil pulling. Purchase a jar of cold pressed, unrefined coconut oil from aldi, it should be about 7 bucks. Scrape some out (its a solid oil, and liquefies at 75°F) about a tablespoon worth, and swirl it around your mouth furst thing when you wake up for 10-20 minutes or however long you can handle it. Oil pulling pulls a lot of bacteria from your mouth, between teeth etc, and also cleans bacteria off tongue and helps with that vapers tongue. Ive done it, its not a cure all, one and done type thing. Itll help some, but continued morning swigs are recommended (once daily for 10-20min).

@Tina Ellis, I'm guessing ur using the rayon geauxst sent if so you start would be the wick, rayon collapse when it gets wet so u need it in the coil pretty stiff (little resistance against the coi) if there's not enough rayon ull get a hot spot dry wetting the wick and firing ur mod watching the coil to see if it turns red, another thing could be to much wick or the wick is pinched causing it to not juice up right so ur getting a nasty burnt hit

Whenever I needed wire or juice cuz I was tight on money,he was there to the rescue & vice versa.. So this is not only a place to read & learn but it can also be a place where u can find new friendship when least expected..

I'd have to see your setup lots of things can make a burnt taste if you send a pic of your coils and tell me how your running them I might see the issue
