Hello, all. Today - doctor appointments, again (Liz). They screwed up her prescription (apparently, the doctor put the decimal point in the wrong place; the assistant pharmacist wrote the correct amount on the prescription, and when we went to pick up the prescription - the pharmacist in charge said, "This prescription has been altered, so it couldn't be filled." Liz said, "One of your employees wrote on the prescription. I know - come back tomorrow...!") - and the world goes around, and round, and... sideways...
11-ish, MDST - in the PM. Tomorrow morning, will be our Australian Shepherd's last day 'sporting.'
Neuter-Doctor, that's his name... just flush that manhood, down the drain...
According to the vet, our almost four-year-old Aussie Shepherd is a purebred - and, cancer rates for that breed of dog run very high. So... (watch money fly outta my wallet). Both of our dogs will become "shot-current" for Colorado, and they will be registered; and, "Laddy," will be 'chipped.' Java, our spayed female, already has been.
I did play 'catch-up' in 'Our Corner,' for the first time in awhile. Whoda thunk it. Thank goodness it wasn't too busy here, today .
So, allow me to write "Good Morning" to everyone now, because I've got to be up at six tomorrow morning, for a LONG day with Liz, and two dogs - one of which, will be a groggy soul - when we leave the veterinarian. We hope that he remains the same, uncanny dog that he has been. He's soooo smart, and has such a personality. When he came into our lives in '12, he had wandered into our yard, just as I was helping Liz load up the car to take her to the airport. He then jumped into my vehicle, now sold, and stuck his face in-between the driver's seat, and the C-pillar - while standing in the backseat footwells. Liz and I both started laughing. I said, "Look at him, Liz. He's hiding his face. I guess he figures that if he can't see us, then we can't see him!"
That very night, we introduced him to Java, who immediately fell in love with him. That's the story of our Aussie Shepherd. We first thought he was an AKC-registered Border Collie, but, we were informed that he was, indeed, an Australian Shepherd. There were no 'Lost Dog' signs anywhere, so, I kept him through Liz's trip to Colorado in 2012-'13; when she came home, she said: "Okay. He's ours. Guess we're going to keep him."
We love him, and Java. They're like our children. Good night, Corner Folk.

It's LW, playing late night poster/lurker/vaper... vaping a 3 mg Platinum Nic ejuice called "Queen Of Hearts," and it IS raspberry/cream wonderment. Super yum.
Laddy, the Aussie Shepherd, is recovering nicely from his being neutered on 31 August. He's still the super-wonderful dog that he's been in the past, thank God. Such a ham.
Here's some news: I'm going to be playing a gig in Southern CO at a Chili & Frijole festival. Got a new agent. So...
I got a new 32-track studio. After auditioning for a club owner and an agent, I was told: "You may be the new top musical dog here in town. You're booking late in the season, but, you'll get work."
Got a custom Warmoth 24-fret ebony fingerboard neck being made for my Strat. I've also got a new Fender American Strat tremolo to install; black Sperzel locking tuners for the Strat, black D'Andrea straplocks for the acoustic and electric, new strings (D'Addario NiChrome NYXLs, 6 packs), two straps - one Terri's Blue Suede 3" strap for the Strat, and another Terri's 2" Paisley Blue/Purple strap for the acoustic; if anyone here wants a song written for them, I will oblige. Send me a PM with your low and high points, and I'll sing your story .
Hell, my agent is buying some LED Par 64s, and a Chauvet Laser light for my show - and Liz will be running a DMX light controller. RGB faders, audio chase, and digitally-stored scene control. Also, a black drape to cover my power chair, and a bezeled spinning LED light with a wireless remote control to change the colors.
I'm in dreamland. Pinch me.
My mother-in-law is so happy with Liz and I. On 6 October, we're going to Central City and staying at a swank hotel; comped food, and soda/juice (we don't drink alcohol or use drugs, as everyone here knows)...
Mom is providing the bank for gambling, through the casino we're going to be gambling at. Truthfully, I'm not a gambler by nature. The figure is staggering...
I'll get to take some pictures of the mountains at around 8000 feet, and share some of those beautiful Autumn colors with everyone here.
Please pinch me. I'm totally blown-away by the music launch; and, this? I'm sticking with slots. Mom's even babysitting our dogs, at her house in Denver.
I'm totally overwhelmed. I don't know what else to write. I've got my life back, and more. Sure, the docs are going to resection my large intestine, and remove my gall bladder in November - but, I'm tough. No problem.
Liz and I send love to all of you.
