Breazy...Hows your son doing?
Not quite sure. He wouldn't stay in Texas so He's in California now. Could have been just a bad day yesterday for him but I could hear it in his voice he wasn't happy. So it's just a matter of time I guess before bad stuff happens again. I'm convinced I'm only prolonging the inevitable. he may die like the rest of them. Horrible to say but I have to be a realist.

Morning and update.
*TL;DR new parts and torture waiting on the delivery today and tomorrow.

BTW unless anyone can give me cliff notes I am not going to play catch up on 5 pages until way later... Need more coffee and kind of TL;DR.

OK this is crunch time today.
Monitor separate packaging. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009969 got it for 209 shipped after rebate it is 190.

RMA for the case which I have the stuff ready for the driver to take with him. Case separate for shipping. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119314 nice for cheap but not what I was after, before rebate 56 after would put it like 40 bucks.

R7 1700 Separate packaging. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113428 Has a stock cooler with it but going a liquid AIO route, from what I have been seeing this is the rock solid choice all around.

Asus b350 motherboard Separate packaging. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132965 MIGHT be a giant fail and miss, or I could wind the silicone lottery. Time will tell. Already since it's release has had several bios updates. It is still way to new sw wise to nit pick it to death. Some memory issues but asus stands behind their stuff so if down the line I need to warranty it I am not sweating it.

Are arriving today.

Tomorrow is the rest of the stuff.
Power supply, graphics card and this beasty. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132965
The case I was really wanting. Was going to rma the other case and pick up the masterbox 5 but since the form factor is not what I was actually wanting and this is my you only live once build I went with what I wanted. I do not have to worry about air flow, cooling or extra fans.

And when I get my rma credited this is the cooling beasty I am going for https://www.arctic.ac/us_en/liquid-freezer-240.html. Artic was kick ass enough to answer a non customer an inquiry about the am4 bracket and out of the three companies I asked about were the only ones who responded. So they get my business and they preform well, and for being as thick as it is the case above fits them.

With that being said the cooling is going to be a non issue, the mobo I picked up has 2 case fan headers, 1 cpu and one pwn.
For the non geeks that means exhaust fan, takes a case fan header (where you plug in the fan) is covered.
The 4 fans for the cooler are ran into one splitter and if I upgrade the fans later to a led light show version I can run a hub to control the speeds. But that goes in with the cpu header that is run off sw for fan speeds.
The other case fan is for the pump.

This is the graphics card I went with.

those in the know it is a rock solid performer. Decent OC out of the box and cheaper than the 1060 and way cheaper than the 1070s and 1080s. AND I can pick up another 480 for crossfire if I really need it.

OK done uber geeking the fuck out, I have spent way to many hours/days/weeks planning this shit out.

Lots of lightning and thunder & heavy rain here, Some wind but thankfully, nothing too severe. Calling for sunny & 61 today. :bliss:
Yes, glad that there are no tornadoes and not severe.

The tornado that was west of us, went by some firefighters that was trying to put out a wild fire. The neighborhood had given the firefighters shelter while the tornado past by them. Glad they were all safe.

OK going to power up and go get a sunrise roll, some bread, snacks and cat food prior to waiting fedex.
I am just tired as hell, slightly headachy and semi grumpy as fuck.

I had an issue with Comcast instead of the 95+ mbps I was getting I was down to .25-4.2, had a sneaky idea and swapped the coax out and BLAM! stable 95 all day long on the Ethernet cable. 28-45 wirelessly.

Glad I do not have to deal with those things anymore.
A few tornado warnings I did get through they suck. I do miss the lightning tho back east.
Just so many mountains here unless it is a fluke and in the valley it is safe from them.

That's good BigNasty. They really do suck. It wouldn't be as bad if we had a basement or even a crawl space. I have been through one tornado, seen the damage and cleaning up from one sucks ass.

Wearing sweats in a concrete and cider block shitter with 300 people is no fucking cake walk I would rather take the chances outside that. Two tornado warnings in boot cramp.

See ya later.
Not heading out yet, too early.

Yea, I hear there. We were cramped in a shelter, not as many people tho. But if there wasn't a shelter I don't know if I would be alive today.

Ah, ok.

It would be really nice if he would get his head out of his ass and wake the hell up. No disrespect for your son. Seen to many good people go down because of not waking up in time to save themselves.
