I grew up watching the golden girls.... I always thought I was a mixture of all four of them. Smartass Sofia, Tough Dorothy, Sex crazed Blanche, And Ditzy Rose....:giggle::giggle::giggle::devil::devil:

I love that Betty White... Its gonna be a terribly sad day when she passes :( But I'm holding out for her to live to 120 :D

Haha... When George Burns was 98 years old, Caeser's Palace tried to book him for a 100th Birthday Gala there. George refused. They asked him why, and he said "How the hell do I know that Caeser's Palace will still be around in 2 years?"

I do not see the value in lingerie. It's see through. I can see what's underneath. If I like it, I'm not gonna like it more covered in overpriced see through curtains.

Nekkid is the true form of self. No window dressing BS involved.

Nobody wants to see me nekkid. They just think they do 2 kids are rough on a body

for me it's one kid and then 28 more years. :D Nobody wants to see THAT nekkid either, and even sexy lingerie isn't much help. :D

I'm neither. I'm realistic not exactly Meghan fox over here
While she may be attractive, she isn't real.

I wouldn't play "hide the sausage" with Mrs. Fox. I would rather play with a real woman. Someone who IS sexy AND has something to say with substance. Sexy doesn't come from a magazine or a movie screen.

I know you wouldn't do that. I was just razzing you. ;)

Women should be less self conscious. It's magazines, media, and the general shit falling out of the talking head's mouth's that make women lose self confidence. Women are beautiful creatures, we men appreciate. ALL shapes and sizes, all ages, all whatever.

I just kinda gave up on my appearance -- my husband assures me that because I'm HIS, I look just fine to him, and that's really all that matters to me. What's important to me is COMFORT -- so I never wear heels, I don't like bras much, I don't wear makeup very often because I always end up with mascara flakes in my eyes, and I rarely do anything to my hair that doesn't involve a ponytail. However I'm very conscious and concerned about my weight, not for appearance, but for comfort and health -- diabetes gallops thru my family, but I DON'T FUCKING WANT IT! And it's hard to put your socks on, when your belly gets too big. :D

What I hated THE WORST, when I gained about 30 lbs during my last major depression, was losing my "thigh gap" -- I really hate it when my thighs sweat and stick together! ICK! I've gotten some of that gap back, since losing most of that, but right now, it could be better -- that's why i wanna shed these 10 lbs before the weather gets really hot.

And at my age... I'm concerned about that metabolic syndrome. Diabetes is just destroying my mother's body, one part (or 5) at a time, and it's just horrible. I've been watching that Truth about Cancer series too, and I really had no idea that having high blood glucose could decrease your white blood cells, which is the biggest part of your immune system. I've really gotta get serious about my diet, less sugar and all. :( My last bloodwork, my glucose was fine, but some of the other aspects do seem to indicate that the metabolic syndrome may be just starting to creep up on me.

I couldn't get a 'thigh gap' even if I starved myself! So I just gotta deal with chunky thighs. I'm built like my birth mother, short and thick. I'm 5'1" and pushing 200. Yes, I know! I didn't even realize until I stepped on the scale when fiance's father was in the hospital. I was like :eek::eek::oops::oops::oops:. My normal weight is 135. So now I definitely gotta get off my ass (don't even wanna look back there!) and get busy. Thankfully its almost summer so I can go swimming. :bliss:

Diabetes, in a roundabout way, killed my grandmother. The meds she was taking to manage her diabetes killed her liver and severely damaged her kidneys. She had to take Lactulose to flush her system out. And finally she got really sick with her congestive heart failure and was put in a "Tranquility" hospital (I think its in Cobb County) for her final days. She passed last January. I miss that cantankerous Yankee.
