I use the Nitecore Q2..... The VA Haze is way up there.... Well for me it was expensive......

But it's different and unique...... But very limited......

Well I like LUC. Luckily mine just fits without touching wrapper. Thank you jinx'd. Manny, DNA75C is most popular chip but VA mainly uses YIHI. Limited run on that was dumb for him IMO. Good for you though. He would have made way more money if it was an open run. Maybe he makes another one with a DNA. VA, Ultroner/Asmodus same thing. It is just $300+ is a ton of money in China. VA is a more prestigious namesake so he can charge that.
Jinx'd I paid $575 for that Mod. It is not great IMO. Apparently I see it has appreciated to 13 Grand used LOL. I doubt I sell it. Nothing to look at. That ThorII is much nicer IMO. Here is the one I have for "just" $8,000 mine is the red one. There were 3 colors 1 each.

Manny, You know you can actually sort of do that. Sort of. You take a "tour" of Russia or some other country. You go out to dinner with various Women. You pick one. She flies to your door. You get married. Then in 5 years she gets citizenship, leaves with half your money LOL. I said sort of didn't I? Woodie better deal IMO. I gathered you are single now but I will not pry into your personal life.

As long as I have been married it is like being single. I do not have much interaction with my wife anymore. I don't mean just sex but in general. She goes out, I sit home. Whatever.

I have MS and it’s a lot of work even on a good day!! I was just wondering if there was some type of “electric” mini jewelry polisher device that I might use for the brunt of the work.

I’m just being creative and trying to come up with ideas. If anyone else has any other ideas please let me know!!

Btw I just purchased another Thor in pink! Pink is sooooo not me lol!! But I decided I needed to step out of my comfort zone and have a cheery colored stabwood mod!!

It’s got a matte finish that I may leave as is since I kind of like it. Not sure I want a shiny pink mod lol!!!

And I maaaay have nighttime ordered a Lustro stabwood. The 30% Sale at Asmodus is killing my credit cards even when I’m asleep :gaah: !!

You can use a Moto-tool but I would be very careful. They start at about $40 and then $15 or so for the polishing pack you need. I would probably advise against it though. It is too easy to damage it if you are not experienced. I have a pink Thor I am vaping right now! It is nice as is really. Not nearly as nice as Manny's. I can't do it either. I have advanced Parkinson's disease. At least the ThorII is gloss but I got Thor's for $118. ThorII is over $300.

fidola, I see your fire button has turned solid color too. I think even if you do not juice on it your natural finger oil will do that. The wood grain is on the fire button for about a day. no big deal. solid color is nice too. At least they do not fade. I almost got a green ThorII but I liked this one better ultimately. I will buy more VA and Asmodus. I hope VA comes out with a DNA75C. Either is fine. Only ones I buy now. The quality is the best and USA service. Don't get me wrong there are some nice customs though. Some Artisans are better than others. They at least need a little CNC router and lathe. Chisel just does not cut it.

I do not know why my 21700's do not last. 26650 last a long time. A single 18650 is just no good for me. Changing batteries every 20 minutes. I noticed Paranormal is smaller than these with 2x18650. It is junk IMO though. I guess I have become a vape snob. My bad.

Thor is just as nice as ThorII. Especially before they sold out at $118. That was a steal.

I emailed them and asked about their new mods in a 26650 and they told me it's rare that they produce 26650 mods........

Well for the right price they make anything .....ha ha ....

They found a body that was never made into a mod Nakatari #011s . S probably stands for Sport ...

The sample design mod was sitting in the owner's office on a shelf and I liked the colors so they cut it to fit a 26650 battery..... And slammed a Yihi SX 350J V2 .....

I want one with SX580J. I bet VA does soon. Manny do you prefer Philippines made over China made. I do not mean junk like lost vape but Asmodus quality. China has the best machines. China is either poor or rich. I saw ultroner factory. Much fancier than VA factory. Ultroner finishes in class 1 clean room too. It is state of the art. Even if rich in China money goes much further. $300+ for China is a fortune. 2x 26650 too big. 26650 lasts as long as 2x18650. According to Mooch 21700 is best battery now. Tesla cars is moving to them. I feel they do not last long. Apparently why Ultroner followed the trend and went with 21700. 1x18650 would not cut it for me. I really liked that Bean Box but construction was sort of shoddy. My Mod should be here Tomorrow. I actually kind of like it better than first one. I am wary of custom not in USA. What if you need service? Evolv would rather not open Stabwood Mods but probably would anyways. The Asmodus is your best looking IMO. Or you can cheat and get acrylic covered. Already buffed on machine. Skilled machine operator 10 minutes Vs. 50 hours you sanding. I certainly hope this Mod is okay. Man is done with me no doubt.

The Philipino works hard...... I'm talking no gaps to be seen anywhere hours of labor invested.... They make perfect mods..... Well planned well designed......

Less metal more wood..... I'm seeing a lot of aircraft aluminum 1100 appearing on Philipino mods....

They take that shit-wood working serious........

Absolutely, it now has that 3D effect that it didn’t have before. But there were a lot more surface imperfections on the Asmodus than there were on the Yihi. The SL just took a couple of hours with 8000 grit to smooth up and then polished with 12000 grit. Easy peasy. The Asmodus took hours with 1000 grit to get the surface level, then many hours more to get that fuckin’ shine going. But yeah, well worth the time. Now to go shopping for another victim

Yeah..... The Asmodus has ridges in the wood and blemishes everywhere..... To get wood looking good takes effort...... A lot of hours...

I will say more Pinoy put out good vape mod. China only one I know good is Ultroner. Everything else I experienced is junk. Ultroner can make as good as Pinoy's best. The Polish mod left a lot to be desired. Big gaps glue on it ETC. That though is not true Polish are lazy. That is racist. Polish people some of the hardest working I ever knew. Just happens that mod is lousy. I still say stick with the two big brands at this. VA and Ultroner. China machine masters. Pinoy master of hands. They cannot afford Million Dollar machines in Philippines. Except VA. Aircraft Aluminum is standard fare nothing special. All the tubes are. Unless the carbon fiber ones or different material. If you want more selection, Pinoy. Good luck on service. I am not sure any USA Stabwood mods. The trees from allover the world. Best trees grow in rain forest.

Manny, if you keep it up you are going to out wood me LOL. How many do you have now? I have 46 Stabwoods and 32 Mechs and over 100 Misc. garbage. I only have 5 custom Stabwood though. All the rest are VA, Ultroner ETC.

The ThorII is everything I expected(again). I am not sure if I liked the broken one better or this one. This one is nothing to sneeze at though. Just worried about battery cap. Can you give any advice on cap, Manny? Drill hole?

Edit: there are in fact two "hidden" vent holes! Solved.

Also, this ones fire button was very nearly a solid red. so do not feel bad it looses grain. Other Mod was busted in more ways then one apparently. 21700 lasting plenty in this. Should make it 2 days.

Manny, that is Dpm Nataraki SS 26650
No DNA75C?

Manny the one you got is very nice. The DPM with the 75C and exposed tube has big gaps like everything that is not precisely machine made. It is also more money. A 350J is tried and true. I think I will get one. I am paying $315. Do not know what you paid? I found this good cheap place in UK.

The Thor/II do not have the 75C "pilot light" exposed. Nice unintended feature of this one is I can see it brightly through the side of the resin!

The Crown IV is my first tank that is not leaking! Hooray for that. Not a drop!

I found it on the DPM Facebook group..... And bought it from DPM Phillipines.....

There are new 26650 Flashlights being released every day......

So 26650 are definitely not going away....... There are new 26650 cells coming out with 5500 to 6500 mAh 60amps..... From Golisi

There is also DBL they make a 10,000 mAh 26650.....

are the usa more into 26650 than 20/21700 i havent done a 26650 in over 12 months there are rare things in stabwood in the uk most people dont go for them

I see a lot of Mods going to DNA 75c or DNA 250c

I believe the nicest mods with perfect small and nice fit in the hand is 26650

Most now want 21700

I prefer 26650 specially in Stabwood or Ultem......

I see beautiful wood in Russia and Poland...... But a lot of people cannot afford a $500 to $1,000 mod......

I love 26650 mods..... Philipino mods.

Manny. you will find 26650 becomes scarce. Only China makes them. Switching to 21700. My most expensive Mod as I said is worth about $13,000. As I remember I payed less than $1,000 for it. Good investment. I still like Pinoy and Poland for variety. They cannot match China's machines though. The ThorII is flawless compared to my Pinoy Mods. I still like them though. Not everything has to be perfect. Manny, why didn't you get a ThorII? I do not like the Lustro interface but the Mod itself is 100%.

Don't like purple...... That's the reason why I haven't bought a Thor II ..... And I like small mods.....

They have to fit on (4) fingers..... Small.....

The last is my smallest mod.... Dual 21700 Boxer.....

I just went to the flashlight expo and they are releasing (28) new flashlights in 2019 by Fenix, BLF, Nitecore and Olight and they are all 26650 batteries.......

E3C0A8D7-08B0-46D6-8703-A95D9A0A6D19.jpeg I just started with a coarse grit, like 1000, to get the surface imperfections off, then gradually worked up to the 12000 grit for the final polish. I did have to start over with the Asmodus, because while polishing with 8000 grit I started to see imperfections that I had missed the first time over (I have been called anal retentive but I prefer the term fastidious). A sanding tool may help on the flat parts but would make the rounded areas more challenging.
