The mod is beauitiful in color.... I like mods that are 25 to 30% Resin..... Or all Stabwood.....and don't like tubes.so let's be different this is "Corey" Corey was his dog its a stabwood mod nice colours ? but they also change
these are his words, not mine
"When I unboxed him this morning, the black resin was black, jet black. Had a very slight undertone of silver with a slight fleck of bronze but was extremely black. As the day has gone on and the light has faded, turning on lights in house, it appears to have changed. Now the black is far less prominent and the silver/grey/bronze has popped through and it looks just amazing, the black has faded into a background colour and the silver is now prominent with a brown/bronze tinge to it. Stu seems to have made a mod that changes throughout the day! I must ask... Stu... Are you a wizard?"

the colours do and will move about as they reflect through to the surface not on the surface the resin is just a carrier for the colours
Looks like it could be elder, Manny.
Stu, would you agree with that?
Thanks Sara......Gorgeous Manny!!
No, they don't.The mosfets protect against hard shorts right? Right???!! Lol! Please say yes!
I’m trying to learn as much as I can to be safe. I also won’t be using a low resistance so there is that.

So it's like old rotted wood.....could be I won't use it
its nice wood but is coffin wood
it's a very dry porous wood quite brittle for mod making it will break off if over kilned or too rotten

I thought it was like mine.....It only has a Mosfet...... And the Mosfet goes before the batteries vent......No, they don't.
Many mods advertised as MOSFETs are actually PCB though. With added components for extra protection. So check if it is just a MOSFET or a PCB
So it's like old rotted wood.....

only if it's two old it suffers from a fungus over here dutch elm disease

I’m trying to find an original Asmodus Ohmsium Kodama if anyone stumbles across one. I know I just missed one in the classifieds !!
Yeah finding a good switch was a big issue back then...... The same with 510......I used to use them the reason was you could use a fire button that was small the gate need a tiny amount of electricity to shut the gate to fire the attey
So a Mosfet works different than a fuse.....linky for you
http://boxbro.co.uk/what-is-a-mosfet-and-why-do-i-need-one-in-my-unregulated-box-mod/
not for the mod but the mosfet

I saw one @ Fidola 13 in the Vape Trader...... $225linky for you

not for the mod but the mosfet
The way I understand it is the Mosfet has a certain resistance, it needs a certain current to open-allow the gate to open the flow of electricity to complete the circuit....there just a gate to allow electricity to flow the right way the fire button just opens and shuts the gate
I have big hands and like bigger mods.I've been using the yihi sx485j there cracking boards easy to work with and use I had to make and design my own plates button and mount though
I did make mods using the big sx board though it was huge with a massive 15mm capacitor on the back a hateful thing
over here the power of your mod is like your ego "i want a 4 battery 21700 dna250c squonker" trouble is a mod that size is like a piece of 3 x 2 (inches) ive seen them made and they are crazy size but in saying that I have made big mods 2 was for a marine in Japan he had big hands, in fact, he was big, a cracking chap with a big heart lovely to deal with

That's one there left....that's more than a MOSFET
this is a mosfet
Those are nice looking mech mods....They are Stabwood. .... Cool...Stabilized mech
One of a kind, ribbed for your pleasures.

I'm having one made (Osiris) mod..... He completed it and got pictures of it... He shipped it Friday so it should be here tomorrow or Saturday.....I got some but really suck bad at photo. That's not a PCB that's the meter.......Blue= MOSFET
Red=PCB, which is where your safety is coming from
A MOSFET mod only has the MOSFET. Not the PCB
I remember one time putting the batteries in wrong.... And wowIf you overload a MOSFET, it will weld shut. Which means auto firing and not stopping.
Yours must have something added for safety
What is it though.....could be I won't use it
its nice wood but is coffin wood

It looks like box elder. That is what was being discussedWhat is it though.....
Mahogany, walnut, and cherry are at the high end or Pine, poplar, and willow at the low end.
Mid-range materials are probably oak, birch, or maple maybe.

My buddy said Baguio Maple..... But I get it.....It looks like box elder. That is what was being discussed
It doesn't really matter, does it? The stabilisation should strengthen any inherent weaknessMy buddy said Baguio Maple..... But I get it.....

Yeah ...if the wood was properly stabilized and vacuumed it becomes very strong..... You have to abuse it to crack.....It doesn't really matter, does it? The stabilisation should strengthen any inherent weakness
what kind of wood is used for the Burnt Lands? It has a lot of pitting in the wood, which looks unique, just curious. It looks like box elder. That is what was being discussed

They are that cheap? I thought that was like $400?
I got my hand designed Osiris Dual 18650.... I picked the colors the look...
And the Yihi SX 350J V2
Polished her some today, but she was amazing when received......
Fits like a glove and amazingly small to be a dual battery mod......

They cost as scarce as they get and if hard to find the price triples...... I remember picking (5) up in eBay for $299.00 bucks.....Wow at that price, and you said mine was high at $100
