that's does sound really high. did you shop around ? I get my tires from a wholesaler. and get em mounted and balanced for free to $20.
The Michellin pilot 4 are $850 for a pair...... So the price I got was very reasonable...... The labor at the BMW dealer is like $150 per hour.....
It's not like a tire shop where the tell you $20 bucks.......
They have to take the tire off, balance and install the new and then reset the tire pressure sensors with a computer hooked to the bike ...... That's like 1.5 hour per tire.......
They drop the tires in a 150 degree water temperature bath and look for any leaking bubbles.......and then re-measure the pressure because the average asphalt temperature in Arizona is 170 degrees.......

that is probably it. I have a .31 build in the Reload at around 65w. I would like to run the Glaz V2 on it, looks great. but idk what coils to put in it to get a good vape at 50w, if that is even possible. I am slacking in the understanding coils dept.
but I don't think it's the battery. looks to me that its the copper contact & battery interface. that's is right were it gets hot. I can see where they meet = pretty small = high resistance = heat.
I was looking at the VA facebook page. someone else was having the same problem.
Try to keep her at a normal load..... The mod is made for builds of .25 to .50 where she comfortably can run 60 watts or less...... They don't run good on low builds and high wattage........
I use I Joy cells and she only got hot running a .25 at 60 watts......all 26650 mods do that...... .25 at 75 watts requires a high ohm load.....

the battery is 40a. it should do 20-25 easy.
but I think I have it figured out. the battery is convex = the contact point is very small = high resistance = heat.
I have an idea that I think will cure this.
and/or all contact points do this. we just can't feel the heat because of different door designs. hmmmm
and I bet this is why they only made 100 of these and went to the 21700.
I am not sure if those make 26650.

I wanted to make panels for the G-Class. but I don't think stab can be milled down to about .050", at least not in that shape.
I think Evolv is coming out with new chips, with probably larger screens. if they do, I may just make myself a mod.

that is my block Gor. I am going to make panels for my paranormal. and I will still have a big piece of it left, enough to make a mod myself if I want to. the block is the size of a G-Class, but much taller.
I am using my Para right now, I think it's a nice mod.

I like his blocks. They look organic. Not fake looking over the top crazy. Sometimes something is "too much". You know what I mean? Manny and I SS is beautiful. I would say Manny's is a bit nicer but mine is certainly no slouch. Foo picks good blocks. He does nothing to them though. You have to do it. For $800+? That seems kind of odd to me? Maybe that is what people want from him. I have no idea. I would say it is my nicest Mod. Really the Top Hat is my nicest Mod. Or at least most expensive but I personally prefer the SS. With my small hands and the knurled grip it fits like a glove. How does it fit on your larger hands Manny? I guess good because I have heard nothing but praise about it from you and you use it a lot.

Yeah Foo picks nice wood..... He could work them some....... He cuts them and does a rough 320 maybe or less for sanding..... He should polish them up......
I saw about 10 for sale at several shops for $750.00 and they were all sold out.......
Mine fits perfect in my hand, they just have a perfect shape..... And most amazing is how small they are and can handle a 25mm tank.......

Wow Sara, That is even (much) nicer than my Primo. Plus mine is highly polished and has nearly 30 coats of poly! I am frreaking jealous! In fact that is the nicest Primo I have ever seen Where did you get it?
The 21700 has an adjustable battery cap pin. they learned from their mistakes. It is a PITA though. Most batteries (even same make, model) vary in length. so constantly fiddling with that thing. It is a very close tolerance. Just a drop too long and the cap refuses to close. just a drop too lose and it will not make contact, thus no power on Mod! Get it adjusted right and there is no heat on it whatsoever. even at the full 75 watts on a .1 coil. Now that I have done it so many times it comes to me as second nature at least though. It is indeed a much better design then the 26650 was because batteries most certainly do vary in length. You must have a bit short battery there. I would highly suggest trying some different batteries. Unfortunately with that it is all you can do.
Also very nice on the 21700 is the 1/4 turn battery cap, no coin needed use your fingers. That is considerably better than sitting there screwing it around and around. although the SS threads of course are silky smooth as one would expect.
Ahh, I did not know the SS was $750. For some reason I thought it was $899. It is still up there for an "unfinished"-"semi custom" Mod IMO. The Java seems like a better deal and it does not have to be as much as you spent either Manny. If he is even wiling to make another. Although I imagine his current standard models are less money than what you had paid for your Java? Seems like making the SS less of a value. Polished up and poly coated the SS is incredible though. although in reality it did not cost me $750. first of all it only cost me $560(Thank you again Manny) however with the saddle it actually cost me nearly 4 grand! I do not care though I was not using that saddle but I could not give him a junk one. No doubt he would take it but the next job I bet he tells me to fuck off. He is a very honest man of the Lord. I just don't think he knows what those cost. He is also a very simple man that lives in a very shitty trailer. I do not even mean a mobile home. A little trailer with wheels. He is not exactly poor to my knowledge but he chooses to live like shit. He simply just does not know better. Case in point, he thinks nothing of my house. The guy is just clueless. So the SS in essence cost me a lot but I hardly care and will not be missing that saddle so it is fine.
I am just saying for $750 he should at least polish it. unless he has heard that is not what his customers want but I kind of doubt that. still, he obviously has no problem selling them. I am glad I got mine in 3 day's plus paid less than a new one for a more or less new one anyways. Usually these type of used Mods cost much more than a new one. On another note, bill has offered to finish all of my automotive projects. Hundreds of expensive cars and bikes in various states of disrepair. Many in the garage, many in back and other buildings here. Some need full paint, rebuilt motors,trans ETC. Most major work. I wonder what he wants for this I would rather pay him cash. this is a special circumstance as it is a huge job. a trade is not really in order here. He generally will not accept cash. That is the unwritten rule up here. Of course we have many things worth that but I do not wish to part with most of them. At the point he says he wants the 2019 ZR1 or 812 superfast I have to simply tell him no can do and I just know this is coming as they are the best looking cars fully waxed right at the front of the garage. I purchased those as investments. in 5-10 years they both should be 3-6 times their MSRP and I got great prices on them. Now we are talking about a lot of money. Especially on the 812. I really hope it does not come to that but I fear it will and it just may sour our relationship. In fact I have no reason to have all those cars fixed. My family can do it if they so wish after I pass away. I really never even had any intention of fixing any of them but he brought it up. Now I am not sure how to handle this with him. since I am pretty darn sure what he wants is the ZR! or 8!2 SuperFast. In 5-10 years we are talking about millions of dollars for each one. so this is not exactly fair. I would much rather just give him $150,000 cash if he is hell bent on doing this but most likely he only wants to trade. since if any one else finds out he took cash he will be ran out of here. It is a very odd entrenched redneck community. do you folks have any advice for me on this dilemma? I really trust you folks and here I can get more opinions than just my nurse. I would really appreciate if you guys tell me how you think I should handle this. Remember, most likely he does not want to take cash and most likely he wants my most expensive cars. Sara, did you buy that at UK stabwood Mods? Wherever you bought it did it say it was "Resin"? I do not think that is stabwood. VA makes many Resin Primo Titanium 21700. They are plenty nice in their own right and worth every penny they cost but they are not Stabwood. It is beautiful nonetheless. In fact it is much nicer than most of their Stabwood Mods. That is why I originally thought it was so nice. You will absolutely not need to sand it or poly coat it. in fact, do not do so or you will ruin it! It is just as nice as Stabwood. Like Ultem it is just a different high end material. In fact the Ultem models are usually more expensive then the same Stabwood models. Just do not sand or coat it! Even if there is a bit of Stabwood in there it appears to be mostly Resin. So if you sand and/or coat it you will most definitely ruin it. That is why it is so shiny brand new and it shall stay that way. It is beautiful! It is much nicer than anything Stabwood from VA. there is nicer Stabwood to be had but not from VA. I wish I had a Resin one. in fact there is one I think I will order right now. so much for not buying more Mods for myself as well. also so much for going to bed! It is now 6M and nearly light outside. My guys are out feeding the chickens and roosters right now. If you take care of them properly they have to eat at first light. Well, anyways I love yours. I have to get myself one but honestly it is not as not as nice as yours but it shall suffice. If you got it from UK Stabwood Mods it says which ones are resin. Resin is good because it is waterproof. No need to sand/coat it(you absolutely shouldn't) and juice will never ruin it. Plus it stays shiny forever. Enjoy it!

Actually there are a lot of desert animals but you have to look hard for them. Just do not try to find a rattler or scorpion! actually there are a number of other animals that will lay you out there as well. I would never walk alone deep into the desert.
I know my post was too long winded but any idea what to tell Bill politely? I cannot give him those cars. I just know that is where this is heading. As I mentioned, quite frankly I could care less if all those projects are ever even completed at this point. For my distant offspring if they so wish.

I love family dollar because as you are well aware I am a cheap bastard. However go figure I do not like due to their pricing they are forced to treat their employees like crap. Case in point. I would just have fucking quit. It is not like there is a shortage of minimum wage jobs! In fact there are many more minimum wage jobs than highly educated/skilled jobs. I am surprised it was only 95 in there though. If it is 95 out here and I turn off AC one hour it shoots up to 105 inside and we have state of the art insulation and 3 pane Argon gas filled windows. The home is mostly glass though and facing the sun so that is why I guess.
Tod. it looks to me there are people looking to take advantage of your good nature. don't tell me they don't know the value of cash = how do they pay for gas ? chickens ? I don't think so. they want items, because they know they will get more value that way = $4000 saddle, for maybe $200 of work. he wants the ZR1 so he can sell it, trust me.
as far as how to proceed, hell, idk, that's a though one. as I am not you. if it were me, I would give the more prized to those that come first, family perhaps = make sure whomever it is, they can handle such a gift = a vette to someone with no garage or money.

the Asmodus, it looks like it is 1/8"+ deep, 3D, really. and I learned a lot doing it. I am leaning on doing even better on the Primo. I buffed it just a little, yeah, I know how to do it. and it is aa little better. even the side without much color, it has more depth and definition, though not a lot, but still. the resin at the bottom on that side, I can see color down in there. I think I am going to sand to try and get to it.
saying that, I like the 26650 more than the 21700 models I have seen. I like the larger girth and the satin metal finish. and the more wood.
Yeah that satin Titanium is only found on the 26650 Ti and they only produced 100 of them...... It's smaller and a bit thicker....
And the Asmodus gets more beautiful the more you Poly and hit with 12,000....... That 10000 and 12000 does majic on the finish.......

Thank you both. that in fact, truly does humble me! I bought those cars as investments for my family. There is simply no way I am giving them away. jinx'd, you are right. This guy is taking advantage of me. It needs to stop. Either he takes the proper amount of cash for things or I am done with him. I never heard of this bartering business before I moved here. I think they are trying to pull the wool over my eyes so to speak. Indeed, they know they can get more out of me that way. I am growing weary of this. First the Weedwacker than the Saddle. Both of which were worth much more than the jobs he did. I thought maybe he is just clueless but come to think of it maybe he is no dummy.
