So I was looking at Mods yesterday. I got the Tesla Punk Mini. It looks like a high end mod, but it is not. Then I see the EHPro ColdSteel. It is kind of a clone of the YIHI SL Class but not as fancy. Plus, to begin with I think Manny considers the SL Class to be one of his "lowest" end Stabwood Mods? If so, the EHpro is even lower than that at just $50. Out of the few places that still have a SL Class Stabwood the best Price I found was about $159. I already have a few though. The EHPro is just okay. Probably better because the SX485J has some issues. The parasitic loss does not really bother me though. However now VA has the Duke SX II, no thank you. I do not care for a SX485J-single 18650 for $$550+. If it were a DNA75C perhaps but not buying to many single 18650 Mods. Unless they are tiny. Which the Duke SX II is not. Why it needs to be that size I have no clue. The Primo 21700 TI is much more of what I am looking for. Bigger battery, better chip, and smaller Less money too, go figure. As it turns out my Primo now has not developed a gap on the bottom plate. Looked with electronic microscope at 500x and used smallest feeler gage. The wood stands .13mm proud of the very rear. It may have just ben that way that is such a tight tolerance. Manny, here you can provide me with an analogy I can wrap my head around. Would you say that the Mozaic Java is Larger/Smaller or about the same overall size as the Duke that you recently had sold? That should give me a better idea of its size. I have just been trying to figure out how large that thing is.Since you say it is not much larger than the Solar Storm.To me it looks larger than a Reuleaux Mod
I would much rather spend $600 on a Solar Storm then on a Duke SX II for a number of reasons though. Who agrees with me?

Manny, I often carry that blade myself. it is not stab it is micarta. The higher end CRKT are very nice. some blade snobs disrespect them. fuck them. I keep a "rotation" of EDC weapons. that way no shit gets too much carry and could fail if I need it. Here about 160 miles we just left a citgo. 10 minutes later they strongarmed killed the poor kid. I wish we had stayed 10 minutes more and saved his life. See, that's the thing though. Then the police treat you like the bad guy. All they want to do is arrest fuckers. I am a very well seasoned Attorney and have hundreds willing to represent me if need be. So they are not pulling that shit on me. just let he cops arrest you. do not fight them. the battle is won in court. Since I would have been the "hero" in that situation along with my "crew". Dude, .13-.16mm whatever it is e are talking cannot even see with the naked eye and 20/20 vision. Or even feel with a fingernail for that mater. That is hardly an overhand. To give you an idea, average masking tape is about ..35mm. Maybe that is just enough for them to tape it and us not to notice the finished product? Well, at least that spray wax works and this one is not falling apart. Mine I sold you was already in the condition you received it by now! This thing would be gone already and it has not budged .005mm. They do in fact have a very tight fitment over there. I just do not think they are using the best blocks any longer. I could be wrong. Perhaps that one was just a dud. Many people will buy up the Duke SX II and they wil be sold out in 30 days. Watch.Not my cup of tea. I prefer a DNA and a 21700,26650 or 2x18650. The SX III is easily large enough to be 2x18650, so I am not sure what they were thinking there. Then the SX450J in particular was plagued with a myriad of issues. The EHpro looks nice but I need another $50 Mod like I need a hole in the head. The "Old Gold" color is nice. It is stainless steel and not pot metal or zinc alloy. Where to get the juice, everything. So, I am just on the fence if I want to go back and get that EHPro. I will watch some more videos. They all are excited about a $50 Mod. These folks do not review high end Mods I guess to compare. I bet there is no comparison even to a good YIHI. which it is mainly a copy of one of theirs.

its early, the .13mm didn't register in my brain . and on the 26650, it overhangs a good bit, plenty enough for some tape. so i assumed the 21700 was that same. man, i SURE WISH you could/would posts pics.

These Stabwoods are $700 to $1,000 bucks to smash up.....
I take them to eat, for a day off out by the lake.....you know relaxing and even then I rather sometimes take tougher mods.

I stopped because there was always another one. The chase became the thing, not the actual item. It seems like you’re chasing a lot of stuff, but not enjoying it that much.

Had it poly sprayed until I was happy with the gloss......
Had it shaped to my hand.....

I love that one. I guess I’ve heard so much bs in my life about how great all these “cool” things are- like clothes, cars, furniture etc- and a lot of times they’re not. Or I could buy something better that I like a lot more. Sometimes the price tag blinds people, imho.
But, I love your mods. And I think it’s cool that Jinx’d is doing his own thing with those stabs. I just can’t see buying anything at all simply because it’s high end! I hope you catch my drift.

You prolly should have gotten the Punk 86. The threading isn’t great, but it’s a decent vape, looks cool, and isn’t a total battery hog. I got it because it’s lighter than the Punk Mini, which is really not so mini!
You’ve got money to burn, so buy what you want. Just make sure you’ve got gear for when gear may not be easily available!

How much power is the 250? I usually vape at under 50w, unless flavor isn’t coming through. I’m glad the Rebel is light. My Jackaroo, which would prolly bounce if I dropped it, weighs a ton. I haven’t really been using it because of that.

Even if you don't need 250 watts the 250C is a more efficient board than the 75C = longer battery life. Always best to get a mod that has more power than you normally use, the DNA75C would not be a good mod if you vape at 75 watts all the time.Hmm, not a really good middle wattage there. So have you tried the 75? That would be pushing it to the limit! I’m vaping all day too, but I’m using 85-100w mods at @35-38w.
Thanks, I was wondering about that. I don’t vape at 70w, but I’ll definitely check out the 250. I need the battery life. I’ve got single cell mods now and it feels like I’m constantly having to recharge.
