Ray, I put your ss fused Claptons, not the Aliens, in another one of my Boreas. Great job as always! :) Unfortunately, I can't comment too much on flavor as I was testing a new flavor I made. It was a Orange Bar from FW. I'm not a fan. It tastes like fucking orange that's for sure. But on a brighter note, the wife snatched my G2 and took a couple of draws and said yum, this is great! I told her to keep it.

Something I just tossed together...it wasnt supposed to end like this. I was trying to make a Caged Coil but I failed and this is what was left after clipping the Cage. You can see places where the 44g is screwed up from the Cage wire I tried using moved it around and almost destroyed the build....I wish I took pics before trying to Cage it....it was a flawless build before it.

SPECS: 10 X .3R/26N80/40N80/44N80

Something I made this morning and then I tried making it a Naked Corrugated Build

The spacing was perfect until I went and Wrapped the coils and then the edges rubbed and screwed it all up..so I thought going Naked would be cool...too bad I already burned through the colors before I made it naked...

SPECS: 6 x .4R/26KA1/(40N80*) (4 Wraps/3mm ID @ .1 Ohms)

Raymo....I went a lil nuts a couple days ago....bought three more VT133's and another G2.

I'll be needing more coils for the higher wattage mods & attys I'm stockpiling.

You have anything YOU like in stock for the Goon?

One more silly question, have you had time to build any SS coils yet... ready to ship?

Ray...you have of these available?
I run them in single coil since the resistance is really low in dual coil but they are great in single coil due to the surface area being larger then most dual coils anyways....I could offer them but they take ALOT of wire and time..

Ive been offering SS coils for a bit now, PM me when you need some!

Raymo, do you only do round coils or have you tried different shapes. The Radiator coils I started making recently are working quite a bit better than round. This one has the air restriction signature of a 2.5mm ID coil with the surface area of a ~4mm round coil. Inside dimensions 2.5mm x 5mm, basically wrapped and heat treated on two 2.5mm SS rods.

What kind of drill did you get?
Yesterday after visiting every Hardware store and Auto Shop in the area (12/6), I was told that none of them carried Cordless drills! I was thinking "Are you shitting me?? Not one Store has a Drill??". I finally got to go to Home Depot and the timing couldnt of been better, they were having a Fathers Day sale and there were 4 choices that I had for brands that had drills on sale. I decided to get a Ryobi One+ Kit, it came with 2 18V Batteries and a Smart Quick Charger. It has 2 speed transmission with variable speeds through them and can get up to 1500rpm....which is 2 times faster then my previous drill. The only thing about the drill I didnt like is the Chuck....it had a Triangle opening in the center even when completely closed. I solved that using a paperclip loop between the teeth, I do have a Keyless Chuck Adapter on its way though to have a decent drill chuck to use.

Next tax time I plan on getting a RIGID Gen5 18V Brushless Drill....that would be really nice and about the best in the class that I need..

The paper clip idea is genius!! All of my power tools are Ols Milwaukee except for one drill motor. When I was able to work most jobs used Dewalt so I bought Rigid because they're red and black and no one would think I was stealing their tools. That's what made me buy my first one. The guy at the store recommended it and it was the same price as Dewalt so I figured it was good. I had a Ryobi for a short time. Battery crapped out on me. Old Milwaukee just doesn't right. They have my forever business. That's for sure. I'm glad you got a new drill motor. And a faster one at that!!! Keep crankin out those beautiful coils my brother!

Old Milwaukee just make the best damn tools I've found. I don't know what they do but it works. I can't believe you did all that work with a Walmart drill motor. Damn!!! I can only imagine what you can do with a good one now.

Just wait until I have a decent chuck on the drill! I know with a smoother trigger and speed changes and 2 different transmissions, slower slowest speed and a faster top speed it should make it much better overall....I just got to get used to it and wait for the chuck piece to come in.

Ray, I've never seen a chuck like you pictured....will the damn thing even hold a 1/8th drill bit?

Perhaps the macro shot makes it look wider than it really is, but comparing to the paperclip, I'm not sure.

Yea it will hold a 2mm bit just fine but its too open for some of the small wires and it wont let me keep them centered...I may try swapping the chucks of the drills since they both have the same allen screw/chuck design and hopefully they have be swapped....if not Ill have to wait for the Chuck Adapter to come and then I wont have any issues...

On each jaw there is a raised line that goes all the way inside...this is what grips the bits and not the jaws themselves..

Ah...I see, or rather understand now...guess the macro just makes it appear much larger.

By the way. Do you have the link where you bought the macro lens for the Galaxy? Sorry if I asked before, I can't seem to find it if I did ask you.

I drilled out one of the Petri top caps, thought I might be sacrificing one, but it's perfect to my liking. Just a hair bigger, made it perfect providing a lil more air to some of those bigger coils I received from you.....:)

I loved it and then I drilled out a second pair of holes into the stock cap and now I wish I used a much smaller bit....I may grab a few clones so I can get the caps from them (stock and cloud cap) but I liked it when I first got it.

How would I guess you may have done something like that?.......:giggle:

By the way, I ordered three Goons from 528 about a week ago and still haven't received them.
