The first build I did on the T-VCT RBA deck was kanthal. I can say although it didn't produce as much vapor as the Subtank mini, it produced a lot more flavor.

why o so few vendors have this tank? i HAVE CHECKED ABOUT 30 SITES. I was hoping someone who has a coupon code or discount offer would have these for sale. My cart at wet vapes is sitting at $56 with the tank rba deck and a 5 pack of nickel coils

Well good morning all. OK so I made up a kanthal build for you. 2.5 mm with 26 gage is reading .85 on my ivp3 original. All wicked in with native cotton wicks. Set with airflow and juice control wide open at 15 watts. Filled it up with mama j game over custard. Disclaimer: I have forgotten how to vape in power mode since I have been exclusively in tc mode since February lolol. IMO the flavor is very close to that of the vct nickle coils and maybe just maybe more actually. I believe it's far better than any of the subtank I've used. It's not quite as flavorful as ti but I think that's more,due to tc. I did dry hit it a few times because I am a noob again in power mode and vaping at 15 watts is strange to me. I'm usually 30 plus but I am use to Subohm tanks lolol. Dry hits were my fault by trying to push 19 watts lololThank you Stan & Devil! More flavor? That is sooo awesome! Less clouds is good too, it's easier to sneak public vapes that way. I think I am gonna look around at prices now
Overall I say this is a winner for flavor and clouds are pretty nice in this tank with the RBA in power mode.

I was sort of in the same boat. Loved my Mini. Didn't try the RBA deck because I'm all thumbs mechanically, but I have just about perfected the technique of rewicking the stock coils without taking them apart. Still, it was frustrating that I couldn't take it beyond 25 watts, and the occasional leaking and dry hits drove me crazy. The Mini has been on the shelf since I got the Beast.
It's the devil in me lololol
I should stop recommending things to people. I just love when you actually do find a device that works as the hype states. Many times these items turn out to suck lol

Well, if you have any tips for 18650 batteries that last longer than half a day, I'm listening. Just bought a couple made by Panasonic that suck.
I wish I did. Thats,why I ordered a dual box mod. I have heard the LG he4 are really good at 3000mah depending on your vape style they may be good. For higher watts above 90 not so good

I did look at that. I hear it's great flavor. What made me pause was the triple and quad coils. I'm sure that would drink juice super fast. Even though I DIY it's gonna drink like a fish buy I would still love to try it

True. And what stopped me was maxing out my single 18650 boxes! I don't buy tanks that don't have an RBA option anyway, but it would be great to compare the flavors with the RBA bases.

ok ok see I wanted to know how that TFV4 rba was and it has a dual coil RBA base option
and SUPPOSEDLY Ni200 and SUPPOSEDLY Ti coils coming soon

I might look into that one further. Also the other one on my radar is the chutla v2 (spelled wrong but close ) has dual or single coil base. Not sure why because I am very happy with my vct and billows v2 at this moment.

Although I really like the TFV4, I really don't see myself vaping at that high of wattage. I am still a big fan of the Cthulhu RTA's. Just giving time on the V2 for them to work out all the kinks early and get the black one they're releasing a little later.
I hear the v2 will be much improved. Gonna wait to hear others thoughts for once lolol. I think it was scheduled for rekease a few days ago

Nice!! U all are awesome. The only thing that scares me on the t-vct is if I break it I'm screwed as no replacement tank. I hate the looks of those vape bands, but figure it best in my case. Ok I'm sold on it you guys. It will be my next tank for sure. Might wait for a better sale, but wet vapes ain't too bad of a price since I'll stick to the rba. Thanks so much Devil and Stan!!
No problem at all @Daintanee , glad to help. I can say that although in the pics the tank looks fragile in real life it is not as fragile as it looks. the tank itself is incased in the outer stainless sleeve. I dropped mine once already on the floor and it was fine but I hear ya on the concerns. good luck my friend

I thought I had my mind made up weeks ago to get a crown tank. And NOW i see this awesome OBS tank that has an alien on it, AN ALIEN...I love aliens. Not sure if I should buy a tank based on it's ability to give me the Vulcan mind melt just by looking at it...I have a Subtank mini that I use the rba on. The flavor is good, the vapor is good. I just find it to be a bit restrictive for me. I think somebody said this OBS tank is similar to the subtank mini in the wide open draw using the rba. I am also wanting to know what the crown draw is like using the rba. If anybody can make a decision for me, I would appreciate it.

Oh yes sorry about the lack of detail I'm still on my first cup is java this am. Yes a contact coil that I pulsed to a nice blue purple color. I was vaping it around 31 watts at approximately 440 f (340 on my sig 75)

One very important detail that nobody said yet is you have to install the gasket under the deck or you will get big leaks. Look at stock coil and see where the lower gasket is. You have to take one from the spare parts bag and put it on. I missed that part initially lolol

This may seem absurd but I built a single nickle coil on the obs t vct this am. 2.5mm, 28 g 10 spaced at .10. This actually to me tastes phenomenal. Even better than ti coil but that may be my sig 75 doing that. Gonna vape on this for while today

I'm looking hard at this OBS to purchase. I just can't help it, I am attracted to, THE ALIEN...Anybody have the black version? If so, I can't find any info on what the finish is. Paint? Ceracoat? Other? How is the black finish holding up for you? The pics I have found, it shows the threaded portion of the 510 to be black finish also, any conductivity issues? Not a deal breaker, I also like the SS version, black would be first choice. Also, Any chance they will offer a replacement tank section in the event of a break? I also like the rba section, beefy screws, looks like a must have for this system.
I have the black one. The finish I believe is more than paint. Maybe anodized as it holds up in hot UC cleaner with no problems plus the alien looks great on black background. The outer shield glass and juice control are all one part so I can't see how to replace them individually but it us a sturdy tank
