Just found out we might get another storm hitting us. If you listen to the MSM they are saying the Sky is Falling~! From what I see online might just be barely enough to plow if that.

Weather Service calling for 3-6" here starting in just a few hours. We'll see. If we get an appreciable amount, I'll be making snow creme in the morning. Happy me! lol

They are saying 6-9 inches here but what I see on the Dopler Radar Maps makes me think Amazon Alexs is
more accurate saying 3 or so.

What types of speech are not protected by the first amendment?

10 Restrictions on Freedom of Speech You Must Know

Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. v. Kathy Boockvar, Secretary of Pennsylvania, et al

TEXAS V. PENNSYLVANIA, ET AL.

Apologies for seemingly towing a party line. Can assure I'm not as I've no dog in the fight. As an external observer though I saw claims presented as allegations. I saw evidence asked for to support proof of the charges. I saw no evidence offered.

Trying to be as objective as I can here. It seems if you've valid proof(evidence) of something you're charging someone doing, you'll gladly and expediently proffer that evidence up for public review. Since none was forthcoming and it seems unlikely any will be presented, can only infer what is charged is bunk.

Again, I did not vote and did not as matter of lacking confidence in the system. Though after this year, I may alter that stance. I did see evidence as Obama said, "we're making it better," and in that, evidence the system works. Ask about a black senator elected in Georgia, why don't you? :)

So yes, I see that sometimes our system works if given a chance. Need to weigh that as well as seeing how corruption gums it up so terribly. Think I'll remain a peaceful anarchist, thanks.

Not had coffee yet. Not a good Sunday, I see, now.

Oh well, me & wife will go do laundry later. May even go over to Cash Savers supermarket, do a bit of shopping. Hopeful we can get down to Spencer before the Country Table closes at 2 pm. They always have good home cooked food, real Americana style eating.

That would really make it a nice Sunday. Barring that at least we have some time to ourselves. Yes, we're out in public, yet we're still off to ourselves. We keep ourselves to ourselves mostly. We talk with a few but never anything further than topological pleasantries.

I think those we do get on with gather we're secular & pleasant like that on purpose. They don't push for more in depth as they realize the joy we can all share in that insular space of conversation.

Besides, there are some matters people don't ad hoc open up about in mixed company. For example, I know everyone doesn't like peanut butter and jelly, even if they do they might prefer strawberry over grape jelly, or possibly apple.

No, there's no need to venture into territories where crusades roam. We can skirt along the edges of society well enough that we could be seen as wolves keeping their eyes hidden from the fire light. Simply because wolves are all around you doesn't mean they'll attack.

Once you know the peel of their fangs the bite loses it's value & strength. So mercy dictates treading light out of compassion, grace. Yes, I may complain it is frustrating at times being the better person, still, wouldn't have it any other way.

I sleep well. Reckon I ought to get that coffee. It may be a good Sunday anyway.

My New Plow Lights didn't get here until 3PM or so and I had given up on putting them yesterday because it was getting cold and would be dark soon.

Der lights der blinkin?

Sorry, that validates me needing a second cup. *chuckles* :)

I like these lights because the turn signals wrap around the sides. Very easy for Dumbasses out driving in the Snow who shouldn't be can see. But since it is going to start snowing soon I guess I will get one more use out of the old ones.

I plow one location on the sidewalk my Truck just fits between a Utility Pole and the Plat Glass windows of the building. Inside the glass is thousands of dollars of lights, chandeliers and lamps~!

So I go for coffee this morning and I have no idea what my Mom was doing last night but she tells me there is a problem with the Living room TV and the small bedroom TV. Nice to deal with it when you only on your first cup of coffee~!

No, I get paid in FULL but sometimes I have to wait a day or two. These are customers for over 25-30 years so you need to give them a little time. The Church though I get Paid by from Minnesota but they issue the Check thru Chase and it comes fast.

i waent going to say anything about that,,,
HE is just trying to figure out what one tastes best.
dats all...
such a beautiful baby. have you been able to hold em yet?
I've only seen pictures. The hospital has a no visitor policy due to the Wuhan virus. Heck, once my son-in-law checked in to be with my daughter he could not leave or else he would not be let back in. grrrr...

Allegedly they will be getting out of the hospital today. I'm not sure if we will see them today. Gotta let them get settled in unless they want us to come over. Fortunately we live in the same town.

That is probably because they tested him and they don't want possible exposure due to him leaving. Protects everyone. I have a neighbor who is tested everyday for his job as a Tile Setter. He was telling me it is just like at a Doctors office with the Paper Work.

I have also told a few that I won't plow them anymore because I spend more time trying to get paid then I do plowing. Had them calling and crying to come and I told them I will clear a path to the door and get out to get paid. Then I clear the property.

Here is an even better example~! Had guys call me to come and plow because the guy who did them did a shit job so they want me to cut them a break after I asked what they paid for this shit job~!

Or another great example had one guy not give the Gas Station Attendant permission to pay me after I came back a second time. I plowed in his driveways so he couldn't sell any gas. So the longer I didn't get paid the more money he lost~! Don't fuck with me~!

I got paid real fast, then for good measure I left went across the street and cleared his competition before I opened his driveways~! He lost more sales then what I got paid....................

Reminds me that custodians have a powerful word too. We might be doing something when someone comes to ask us to finish up, then come to them to do something else. They have no clue what else you got slated to do. You can use that word, "No."

Clients don't like hearing but sometimes you have to say it. For example had a teacher fussing at me to fix an ice machine. I was there as a custodian, not maintenance. It was not my duty to fix that at that point. I told her no.

Now had they paid time & a half, given me more time I would have gladly done so. But I was only slated as custodian for a four hour shift. Fixing an ice machine can possibly take six to eight hours and once you start to fixing it, your focus is it and it alone. It just has to be that way. I've done it before so know.

When I do contract IT Work I am there for what is described in the ticket and when Clients ask me to do something not in my work order I give them my standard response. "I will be glad to but I need to check with the project manager first." If they authorize it I will get right on it. Most times it is not our equipment so I have to break the news to them I can't and I am sorry. When it is our equipment I can wind up with extra work orders~!

Exactly and I dislike it when folks then "But it don't matter if it's not in your description, you're here to work, ...".

Yes, sure you are. You're not there to be the be all end all solution though. This is why the jobs in the schools are broken up. One custodian gets hallway A, another hallway B and so on. One custodian does not tackle a whole school. Yes, there's a "head" custodian for each school. What they do is administrate, stock supplies, ensure the other custodians are doing the work.

No one custodian tackles a whole school. I figure it is the same in any commercial cleaning job too. Well, save for a small crew office cleaner and the like. Know my dad used to do whole buildings but he was just him and he managed it so he did stuff on a weekly basis.
