Good one, was thinking more along the lines of how silent everything goes when coyotes are around. They bay, howl, yelp sure. But they also corner up on silence. Nothing else wants the coyote to hear them, but they want to hear the sneaking coyote.

Conversely, to travel in a forest nearly silently make as much noise as a squirrel, in fact don't try being silent. Other critters hear "squirrel" noise and don't get afraid.

Walking like a fox helps too. :)

By the by, forgive my seeming absent social grace. How in general was the Mom? Good? Minor ailment/s? Poorly?

My mom's mentioned needing to see a doc, Friday evening. She wasn't sure what was going on or if it was something in intestines. They took out 9 inches of hers and sewed it back in in another spot, kind of a bypass/shortcut. But she's beat cancer twice.

Told mom's she didn't need her guts anyway. She still has her brass balls. :)

Offering context here so folks don't get the impression I'm a horrible monster of a son. I see how that above could read like that, "you monster, how dare you tell your mom that!?"

When I was a boy her then new husband, my step-dad beat me in front of her. All she could muster to tell me was, "get up boy you ain't hurt."

She also out of fear let me remained knocked out from a 2x4 to the back of my head, out in a cold concrete floored shed for four hours one night. She feared he would take her other two boys away if she had come to me.

I managed to come around, slither out of the shed, lift myself to stand, went in to bed. The next day, "boy you ain't hurt, right." She wasn't asking me, I was being told. "No mom, I'm not hurt. I'm fine." I was maybe seven years old.

So yeah, monster I am to tell my mom she's got brass balls. Or maybe intimate enough of a son to her that I knew/know she is/was that tough. "Get up boy, you ain't hurt."

Look at it another way. The "elect" of society use media to send messages to the "masses". In fact there was a book written on just that by Marshall McLuhan where by we get the phrase, "the medium is the message". The message being conveyed is we'll use Juul and damn well like or, else.

I'm sorry but it's the same old same old war ongoing, open your eyes. No. It was no goof, slip up. Ask Chruchill about that, he says, "nothing in politics happens without reason". And Aristotle reminds us that "all is political".

Not a "theory" when the fact of a conspiracy existing is patently obvious.

A conspiracy? Defined simply as two or more planning to achieve a commonly held goal/objective.

He was caught on camera vaping in a building which actually is against the law because it is inside for one. You can read all you want into it but this is a Caught on Open Mike type of deal. I doubt it was planned.

Didn't want to take the time and put chocolate chips on top of peanut butter cookies...takes a lot of time. So instead made chocolate chip cookies and added peanut butter to the recipe. First time trying this... Glad I did turned out really good :)

*sits on his stool, nurses coffee & vape, nods pleasantly to everyone passing by* Probably need to do laundry, some shopping. Likely get ourselves a meal.

Tomorrow evening from 6-10 WWE Fastlane on Peacock. Will be able to see Wrestle Mania on Peacock this year as well.

No call outs for work again this week. Guess everyone is staying well and not having emergencies.

So I went out and got started after my post this morning and worked all day on the lawns. A bit tired but feel good, nothing like Fresh Air and Sunshine to get the blood flowing~! Now going to have Pizza for dinner but take out. Thinking of a Papa Johns Stuffed Crust Special.

Was talking with wife yesterday. Wound up figuring tomorrow I might see to getting the weed eater up to go. Hoping the nicer weather holds fast a bit. I'll get a jump start on clearing stuff off around here.

Kind of concerned a little about the septic tank. Not really my concern but it kind bothers a person. It started back a few years ago now. I was told to put some bigger rocks up on the corners of the tank.

They had piled dirt to create a hill around the tank. It needed marked out so nobody took a tractor, or truck out over the tank and damaged the lid. Sure enough, ... even despite the near boulders, her dad ran his truck up over the corner of the tank.

So, it cracked near in two. Well, I got told to temporarily toss some lumber over it to keep a "lid" on it until they got to pouring a new slab for the lid. Did as I was told again. Point being though a quick fix lumber lid still lets in rain, groundwater. And thus, the septic tank has been getting bogged out with water.

Her bro-in-law has gotten all kinds of pissy because he's had go have pumping sessions. Seems only reasonable to me that you'd be looking to pour a slab, find some kind of plastic molded lid. Nah, they're just letting it go. So well her bro-in-law can keep on getting pissy.

Fuck 'em. I would help if asked but they're not bothered to ask. I'm sure I could manage pouring a slab in a frame. We got some Sakrete here, plenty enough to do I'm sure and it don''t cost much if more is required. They got a turner as well, so golly, it'd be a snap really.

But again, fuck 'em they're not asking. I'm not volunteering but for good reason. Why should I? This isn't ours and her bro in law and sis continually make us feel un-welcomed. So they need to ask. I'm not volunteering. If I'm unwelcome to just live here, I'm damn sure I'm not welcome to pitch in and do shit right.

When I was working in the back yard I was de-thatching the grass and the spot around the shed that gets traffic just doesn't have good grass. Thinking where I can get some paving stones or grey bricks. Craigslist~!

Hm, not looking at it here. Only a suggestion, maybe pea gravel. The why? Well it would let you have drainage out into the rest of the yard and if you frame it in, gives you a good area for traffic. Though again, not looking at the whole situation and only off the cuff thinking.

I better get coffee. Nothing planned for today, it's Sunday "no work day". Besides nothing I need doing what cannot wait until tomorrow.

I have Grey Bricks pitched surrounding the shed with an entrance platform. Pea Gravel would not be good because I start the machines like a lawn mower there.

Roger, Wilco. See what ya do now. Yep, flagstones make better sense.

Sorry, that's Southern slang term. Pavers, bricks that are flat ... we call 'em flagstones.
