Got to appreciate
Henry Ford. Then you also need good
insulated houses. Of course, you'll want to
dress well.
Hope those can help maybe open eyes to the value of hemp. Maybe it can also convey the fact that hemp could possibly fill the void of oil in many aspects of living. Will not go so far to say it can but there's a strong possibility it could.
Hemp can also be used for paper that lasts far longer than regular pulp wood paper. It can be used for ropes, ship sails. Hemp very well could also replace tobacco as the king of cash crops.
I have looked into growing it here. There's still far too much room for error and too much regulation and seeming trigger happy Federal agents waiting on slight errors.
You can read that as if the D.E.A catches you having over 0.030 THC content they'll bust you instantly, seize your land and use it for government revenue. You can grow outside but bless your soul should someone's illicit crop blow over to your legal one. That will not excuse you.
You also need to buy seed only from D.E.A authorized co-ops. So while it is legal in WV to grow hemp, it's a very restrictive and gambling process. You also need to have been growing a commercial crop seven years before starting out.
Ultimately it is still a seeming game of haves versus have not/s. It doesn't "level" the field at all despite being a good "sound byte" to say the government is "working" to "level" the economy. This is why I lost interest in making an attempt to start growing hemp in our 2.5 acre bottom land. Even that if grown and rotated out each season would bring in a fair source of income.
No, not worth it when you need to walk a tight rope covered with razors. Sure I could just go on ahead and pull a DIY but there's still a risk, more so as I'm sure the D.E.A would show up just the seed were being put in. And since I'd not be abiding the "laws", well you get the picture I'm sure. Can we all say Whiskey Rebellion?
