Had a thunderstorm roll through last night. Cali wasn't really afraid, but she did want some company. Went out and sat on top of her Cali Cave, she sat on the left side of me. I was blocking the wind blown rain, so she wasn't getting wet . LOL, I was getting drenched and cold. Once I got up to go inside, she felt the rain and dashed into the bottom part of her cave. I went in and changed into dry pajamas :)
One good thing with Emma being 98% deaf she don't hear the thunder rumbling. Duke, he can hear it, but isn't as afraid like Emma use to be. If Emma could still hear the thunder, I would've stayed in with her and Duke throughout the T-storm.

Who or what is Cali?

Good afternoon Porch goers
Getting pour down rain here today

May be an image of text that says 'AND so IT BEGINS! ONLY TE VERY BEST GENERATIONS WILL GET THIS'

Friday the wifey was at Kroger, a grocery store here and when leaving the lot stopped for a pedestrian and wham some lady rear ended here, pushed the rear bumper almost under the tail gate. I mean come on really, she musta been flying to hit that hard.
So today's Tuesday and the lady's insurance still hasn't called.
Startin to smell a rat here.
Insurance companies usually call right off that day or the next at the least so I am wonderin what's up.

If you don’t hear something I would contact my insurance and give them the info on the other driver and their said insurance. I would imagine the other vehicle was fairly messed up.

Agree with this. Hesitant to suggest it but may be worth involving law enforcement as well. Let an officer have the other driver's info and ask the incident be looked into. To clarify, ask for an officer that is also an officer of the peace. Hopefully such an officer can resolve it sanely.

Good morning Porch goers!
We got up to 82 yesterday and had some storms with really strong winds during the night. Power went out for a couple of hours so I didn’t sleep very well (no CPAP without power).

Sorry you didn't sleep well :(
But, glad that's all that happened !
The storm that went over us produced a tornado in the next county over. Thankfully no one or animals were hurt or worse.

Raining here today..............
Likewise. Also was just out looking at the grounds a bit. Going to need to get the weed eater out soon.

Recently got denied order for fresh Cpap equipment, here. Allowed a week a month of not using it. May have not used more than that. Bronchitis has been fouling me up. Figure if I use a full month again, the equipment company will return to shipping orders. Not seen the neurologist in a few years. Not sure what's happened there. He was an elderly man & guess it may be he passed. Life does that.

Not heard anything further on kidneys, or diabetes. Thinking no news is good news. Sure if there were something serious, I ought to have heard something by now.

I get my 18 hour smoke done with about 5-7 pounds of lump charcoal, I suspect that rig takes a bit more charcoal, but I might be wrong....

I have 2 Smokers one is the Weber Kettle Grill and the other is a Smokin Pit. The pit doesn't use much coal but I use Real Wood Charcoal so it lasts longer. The coals go in the bottom pan and water goes in the one under grill for Natural Gravy.

Hey @nadalama how come you are only giving likes and not commenting much lately?

Truthfully? I have cyclical depression, and I've been in it for a while now. I want to stay in touch, but at times like this I have a tendency to isolate and sleep too much. I bumped up my AD dose last week, so I hope that by the end of next week I'll be feeling somewhat better, but it does usually take a little time.

Thank you for asking.

@MyMagicMist , have you looked into Mullein Leaf... Loose Mullein Leaf or a tincture?
My Guy has asthma and use to smoke. He was using an inhaler for all his life until he found Mullein. Started with tincture, but moved on to mixing the Mullein Leaf into his coffee. Than found out he could smoke it, but it was harsh at first draw from the pipe. So, he bought a water pipe, now the hits are smooth not harsh at all. It truly does open the lungs.
HazyShades, had problems breathing. Sent him some and he noticed how well it worked. When he ran out of it, he went to go buy the tincture, than moved up to a pound of Mullein Leaf.
My Guy gave some to a coworker for his wife who has cancer of the lungs and has (still is) helped her tremendously.
It's not really that expensive (by pound) and may (more than likely) help with your Bronchitis.

Actually, yes I've tried Mullein tea. Also used what is commonly called colt's foot at times. Colt's foot produces tussin, which is where we come by the syrupy cough medicine Robotussin. But yes Mullein does okay. Have even used flour ground from its seed. The leaves are more help to the lungs. Burdock can be beneficial as well.

In the vast unending depths of space an exploratory mission, in a classified technological marvel of a craft, approach what has only been dubbed The Magic Mist. No one knows for certain what this mist is, what created it, its purpose.

It is known the mist shimmers and appears in no less than six places at once. That the classified craft has found what is presumed the original mist is awe inspiring, hilariously absurd too. In a few minutes time the explorers arrange to send an old fashion ping into the mist.

"5, ...4, ...3, ...2, ...1, ... PING," the automated devices relay back over all communications lines. "Roger, Ping away," the team captain confirms over the radio. Nothing is heard for laboriously eternal seconds.

Then, as if becoming transfixed upon some unseen point the mist fills the surrounding area and envelopes the craft. Over the radio, "I don't want to set the world on fire, ...," sings aloud. The mist shimmers and it craft and all vanish from sight and possibly this universe and the next eight.

...

Voice over: Will the team captain realize his mistake?
Has the mist destroyed the marvelous craft?
What does the little old lady in Peoria think about her pet budgie's singing?

These exciting answers and more, next time on As The Blunder Blunds, ...

Cut to white noise static and then The National Anthem with voice over.

"This concludes the broadcast day of QWKM3, thank you for listening."

I agree, this herb does help with breathing, I have only used it in a tea with Anise Hysopp, worked well for me. I have never smoked it.

There are certain lung exercises that can help, I do one in particular every day from Chinese Medicine, don't laugh they work ;) , all vapers should do some kind of lung exercise every morning ;) , not preaching just care about all of the community ;)

Hi Jimi,

Imagine gathering up all of your prescription bottles…

And tossing them into the trash, because you NEVER have to take them again.

Is that possible? YES! The 3 foods that I’m going to show you in Module 5 are MORE POWERFUL than anything that the pharmaceutical industry will EVER invent.

Yes, I know that’s a very bold claim.

And of course, I have all of the scientific evidence to back it up.

It’s all explained inside Module 5 airing now

If you had to watch just ONE Module out of the entire Masterclass, this one would be it!

And that’s because I’m going to show you…

  • Why THIS one thing is more effective than any medicine, drug, food, or supplement when fighting or preventing breast cancer.
  • The number one food that anyone with diabetes (or anyone at risk for diabetes) should eat. (This also prevents tumors from growing in your body).
  • Eat 1 1/2 cup of this delicious food, and you have a 34% lower risk of having a heart attack compared to people who don't eat it.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Look, if you ONLY added these 3 foods to your diet, then you could save HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on future medical bills…

These 3 foods would protect you from cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and more…

And there’s a good chance that slowly over time, they would start to replace your medications…

Imagine how HAPPY that would make you feel! No more worrying about your deteriorating health… no more constant doctor’s visits… and no worrying about TERRIBLE side effects…

And it all starts with you watching Module 5 of the Eat To Live Masterclass right here.

Wishing you amazing health,
