First, only assholes look down on people for the jobs they do to earn a living

I'm a entrepreneur who retired early to Hawaii you self-righteous wanker

@MrMeowgi was almost right

A quick google search of your moniker reveals mostly selfies, and I don't mean taking pictures of yourself :giggle:
What makes you think I look down on people for the jobs they do to earn a living? As for those porn sites showing up on google if you run a search for my nick, how exactly is it that I'm the one responsible for another VU member posting on here by mentioning me? https://vapingunderground.com/threads/whats-your-personal-favorite-mech-mod.365488/post-1936352

I get that you are opposed to finding out what is or isn't one's own personal vaping style preference by doing a fair comparison between different vaping styles. Personally, I, am not opposed to it nor am trying to force anyone to doing it, but if you're trying to convince other people not to, then clearly, you have got tentacles. So by all means please, be my guest and continue to squirm all over the place.

Has everyone had their say now? Can we move to something else please?

This back-and-forth will not ever accomplish anything as long as The Dogmatic One will never listen to anyone else's opinion or even acknowledge their right to HAVE an opinion.

I haven't had a say yet. But I don't know what is going on.

I first read dogmatic as dogman though.

So, hi

Let’s see what I do vape related so far.... rewicked a few atties, read some downright hilarious happenings on the vu, and tore apart, cleaned up a few Mech squonkers.

Claiming that I will never listen to anyone else's opinion or even acknowledge their right to HAVE an opinion is NOT an opinion. Rather, it is an accusation that can easily be refuted by reading my posts so here's a quick simple question: do you always falsely accuse those being attacked by obvious trolls?

seems I may be the one to blame, was having a friendly discussion w/several members 2 pages back and I must of struck a nerve :headbang:
Some seem to be looking to be offended for some strange sense of satisfaction?
I do my best to avoid being offended. But there are some here that have used up all their fucks with me.
The one being discussed is not one of those. Well yet anyway :)

I don't know if you struck someone's nerve. You did, however, imply that lowering the wattage to below 75 watts is the only way to turn a hot vape into one that is only just warm, which is an implication that is obviously incorrect due to there being multiple other parameters that also have a profound impact on that particular part of how a given vape feels, and, this is regardless of whatever one's own personal preferences might be like. What followed after I pointed that out to you was a tirade from various people disagreeing with this simple fact, which is that increased airflow in cohort with increased speed of evaporation, for example, also can be used to turn a hot vape into a warm vape, also regardless of whatever one's own personal preferences might be like.

Heard from Stu at Advanced Vape Supply this morning. As the upcoming PMTA's may cause them to cease production they are reducing inventory (50off ) just in case... ADV has been a goto for me for years.
Yep right at 1 month left before hammer time.
Should be some good deals between now and then on what is left.

story Time::::

I started vaping maybe 7 or 8 years ago. Honestly not sure of the exact year; but, it was years before VU was even a concept.
i didn’t even know that forums were a thing for vaping. The MVP2, Provari v2 and kayfun 3.1 just released. I was scouring the web looking for advice. I had been vaping for a few months and bought the above referenced provari/kayfun from a b&m and was looking for info on building. I was an engineering student so didn’t feel that I needed much information.
Anyway, I sign up to ecf, and get bombarded with all these vape gods that knew their vape style was the only style.
if you wanted to be a real vapor you needed a nemesis, a drilled out Tobh and wrap a 0.5 build on microcoils. I absolutely hated those people. As soon as you mentioned That you preferred “enter mod/atty here” you got jumped for being a tootlepuffer, for hating cloud chasers so or for being a member of the provaranati.... what you didn’t get was the information you wanted or needed to help you on your own vape journey. It made the experience on the forum ridiculous.
That vile behavior would also work in the other direction as well. Every motherfucker thought their vape style was the only vape style and they knew better than everyone else.
it drove many vapors that didn’t get answers elsewhere. They would go back to smoking or just disappear from the forum altogether.

For me, it was one of the things that made me go to another forum where I could get helpful information....

Bottom line is ... THERE IS NO WRONG WAY TO VAPE... only unsafe.

I absolutely hate when I see people preach that there way is the only way or the best way and use absolute terms.
fuck that shit! I know what I like. After nearly a decade at this hobby, I realize I don’t know everything, but I know what the fuck works for me. Like many, I’ve built mods and mix my own juice, and I am still learning.... but I refuse to change what I prefer in a vape because it doesn’t t fit some internet troll expert vape gods idea of what a vape should be for everyone else.
I keep seeing that same type of behavior from almost ten years ago, rearing it’s ugly befuddled head at times. As a member it drives me absolutely fucking batshit crazy

yes there are, ordered more wire...I was kind of hoping they would find a way around it...
Wire itself should be no issue unless it is specifically branded or sold to be used in vaping. Why Lightning Vapes changed their name to something else. I forget what? Have around 20 years worth of wire or more.

But wire, batteries, PG/VG, flavorings and even Nicotine for now will be legal to sell unless branded or sold as for use in vaping.
ie a place like Bull City Vapor would likely not be allowed to sell capella flavorings but Bull City flavors could.
Now the flavorings with vape on their labels or promoted by their manufacturers to be used in vaping are likely to have issues.

I used to be much better at it before I worked 5 years in retail before I retired.
I was really starting to hate humans in general...
Humans are the reason I stopped tending bar and starting cooking at restaurants.
Much easier to give them a teabag when they don’t see you.

Ahh elitism and status based on what one owns...
Exists in all things, wine, beer, watches, cell phones, cars, shoes, etc
And many seem to think what ever brand they have is best....

To me it indicates a shallow sense of self worth. Many people think they can buy self esteem/worth.

There are poor trash their is rich trash, and there are poor good people and rich good people. And none of it depends on race, nationality or religion. Good people are just good people regardless.

It does.. it truly does.
and then you have people that buy what many see as an elitist item for non elitist reasons.
For me durability, and longevity are primary reasons for many of my purchases. Sometimes that costs more, sometimes not so much.
for a chef knife, I want a blade will hold an edge longer without chipping-Rockwell 59-63 are things I look at. That usually costs a little bit more.
for a mod, I want accuracy, low voltagedrop And durable. Now you can find those things much cheaper than back a few years ago.

True buying for true quality and performance is not the same as buying for status. I just have a lot of trouble seeing how a 30K watch is worth it compared to a MUCH cheaper quality one for instance. Many of us view watches as semi consumable items anyway as they can get lots of abuse.

If you are buying things /tools you use in making a living get quality. But often best quality is NOT most expensive.

Most of us can easily spot flaws in others but are totally blind as to how we appear to others.
And YES I include myself in that group as well.
I do try though ;)

Just a Wasp/Squeeze combo elitist snob :)
And of course with a FT DT on the wasp.

True that it’s not at all. It’s definitely more expensive than your standard run of the mill but far from most expensive.

You're wrong. When I say that a given vape is anemic, that is my description of how the vape feels to me, which is a personal feeling, not a fact─and the fact that it is a feeling that belongs only to me, personally, is trivial when describing a vape experience... hence, the "IME" and "IMO" acronyms can safely be left out for the simple fact that feelings like this always ARE subjective in nature of course.

you are proving me right with this statement.

One tip towards being a good person. NEVER run down someones job or possessions, etc.
Everyone that works a job is important in what they do. And as long as they try and do it well they should never be belittled for it.
And the beat up old car they drive does the same job for them as a 50k car does for someone else.

I never did run down someone's job or possessions. I do, however, remember the time when some certain individuals on here kept running down my Wismec RX2/3 mod... which I can prove.
