They don't always get their way.

Case in point: Brexit.
They throw a few bones out every now and again, but don't fool yourself into thinking anythings going to change. The only way things will change is through a revolution and the reality is the general public isn't up for that. They're too busy getting their shit made by slave labor (the Lao Gai) in China from Wall-Mart and watching the Kardashian's.

The world will end........ ok not that bad, just no new products allowed on the market without FDA consent, the real problems will be in 2 years time, when everything will be off the shelves, unless these lawsuits achieve anything.

We will see a lot of stores closing probably, B&M and online, but the bigger fish will stick till the end or things get sorted.

No VAPES at the DNC, but of course they applaud an impeached rapist & numerous millionaire felons.
It's always about the money.
Don't even get me started on this disgusting convention. It just turns my stomach to watch it. The Mother's of the Movement was the biggest farce. How about not raising criminals? How about raising kids that have respect and don't resist arrest. They just slapped every law abiding American in the face.

What else could you expect from their nomination being a sociopathic liar and criminal with numerous dead bodies surrounding her?

So now, under the FDA regulations, we can produce e-juice and devices made from components that are not made from tobacco but we have to label them as "made from tobacco" in violation of the consumer product labeling laws. This is how the FDA can regulate, and criminalize them. If e-juice, and device manufactures, have to break the law to follow the law then the law is broken.

As I see it, the act of applying for FDA approval is the final determining factor that will make your e-liquid or device a tobacco product. If your product does not contain nicotine, is not made from tobacco, and has any use other than to be used as a nicotine delivery system then the simple act of applying for FDA approval will make it a tobacco product under these regulations. Applying for FDA approval is how YOU say that this IS a tobacco product. Think of it this way. If you sell someone powdered sugar and say it is c*caine then you will be charged with selling c*caine. If you sell the same powdered sugar and call it powdered sugar then you cannot be charged with a drug violation if it is powdered sugar.

Someone, in the end, will have to face a jury to prove that what they produce is not a tobacco product. Computer software is everywhere. Batteries, coils, and cigarette lighters are in most cars. Pyrex glass can be found in almost any kitchen. The thermostat in my house is a temperature control device that regulates the electricity provided to the coils that generate heat for my home. Tobacco is grown using soil, water, and the sun. Is the sun, by providing solar energy, an electronic nicotine devilry system? Under the FDA regulations it can be assumed that the sun is expected to be used to provide nicotine to the public. How far can these regulations go?

I have told many a juice company the same thing.....................Start a new website dedicated to scented oils. Only vapers will know the truth, they can even advertise as scented oils. Word of mouth will do the rest. Once all vapers know they can vape the "scented oils" from a manufacturer, they can do so at their own risk. This will circumvent the regulations. May sound dirty, but screw the FDA. What are they going to do, shut down ALL the scented oil companies like Johnson & Johnson, Proctor and Gamble? These companies make scented oils, so why not ejuice makers switch to "scented oils" . We would just have to get the nicotine to add to the juice ourselves. At least we would still be able to enjoy our favorite flavors.

Meh, learning to add their own nic takes people at least half way to being able to DIY, at which point they're going to ask themselves why they're paying 10x the cost of materials for "flavored oil".

I understand what you are saying, but I tried to DIY 3 times and could never get my flavors to taste as good as what I can buy. So I would definitely buy the "Essential Oils". Plus I use MECH SAUCE for my juice and it is only $18.99 for a 120ml bottle of juice. So really not that expensive.

Herman Cain was at the Billion Lives premier. He's a good guy that hates big government. I just find it hilarious that in order to vote and have a say in the direction of this country I don't need to show id but if I want to vape some Coil Honey I need id. So fucking ridiculous when you think of it.

The head of the 'Black Lives matter' stated hill-airy only used black folks for votes.:giggle:
The Democrats have been doing that for generations to the black community. They've been hit the hardest under Obama and they'll still vote Democratic.

So will this help me to quit smoking?

Vape shop employee:
I suppose that is possible.

Is vaping a safer alternative to smoking cigarettes?

The FDA forbids discussing this.

i prefer wording it "corrupt FDA regulations" instead of "unfair"

its more accurate.
i just know that, as someone who has been dealing with the FDA corruption long before the FDA's tobacco and vaping shenanigans...i'm contemplating that vapers need to united to get the FDA...not removed since that will never happen but, overhauled. Overhauled by the higher powers of the presidency through pressure. Because trust me when i say, i'm sick and tired of the influence that powerful corps have over the FDA.
i still will never forgive the FDA for shutting down Isocort in this country, only because they were the best natural alternative to pharmaceutical cortisol.
Isocort which, btw, fyi, saved my life when i went through a life threateningly major adrenal crisis.

This is going to be the new and approved. Standard in new vape gear.

I hope it really doesn't come to this.

I'm seeing the future and it is ugly. Vaping will surely become more expensive than smoking between closed systems and taxes. Mission accomplished, BT and BP are sitting pretty.

All they did was put it all back in the hands of the tobacco companies that they were losing millions on in tax money from people that quit ciggs. The big tobacco will be the only one's to benefit from the FDA Rules. What I don't understand is why are they messing with the DIY juices Like Mt baker no longer sells the DIY premixed flavors they don't contain any nicotine at all.

I don't think this is a problem.

I tell people that "I am not allowed to talk about health benefits but here's a copy of a report from England's National Public Health department. They think that electronic cigarettes are at least 95% safer than cigarettes."

If asked, I also tell them I can't say that e-cigs will help them quit smoking but I can tell them about *my* personal experience. As long as I don't claim *they* will have the same experience, the FDA can't stop me talking about *my* experience.

I suppose the major thing so far for me is the Bluecheck requirements. I simply will not give out my last 4 digits of SSN. My bank will ask for the last 4 numbers if and when I talk to them. A third party can kiss my azz because they can be hacked.

Sweet-vapes is off the list of vendors. It looks like China, ebay or local for me. I cannot take the risk of someone hacking my accounts again. I'm going to stop vaping the shit I have and go back to easy shit I can buy locally. As for liquid I'm fine.

Glad I ordered my 521 tab from them last night..... I'm with you on not giving out my last 4.... gets them way to close and with the way Reddit tore BlueCheck up last week they look like a bunch of idiots.

Exactly! They can use identifiers like online banks use to use. One does not need to give out SSN to identify. RTS had a simple id verification program. Why can't other vendors use that type? I think I will stop at the local vape shop after my doctors appointment today and price out some stuff.

What is sweet-vapes doing? I checked their site, but there is no info about new requirements anywhere on the site.

Ok, I read that, but I have NEVER been able to figure out the first thing about Reddit, so checking that thing is out. They want a pic of my DL, WITH the number showing, AND they want the last 4 of my SSN? Geez louise. I wonder why they don't ask for my firstborn child at the same time. I actually wouldn't mind for SV to have any of that info, but bluecheck? Never heard of 'em, whatsoever.

(ETA: thx for the link -- since I run ABP, I never see banner ads!)

For those that said DHL does not care, a package of mine is being held in customs and was being delivered by DHL. They want my social security number, exact description of items, and who the manufacturer is. Half the order is just tips and sleeves which are decorative in nature. There are unregulated mods and rda's in package too though. I'm not sure what to do or say.
Hello,

I apologize for the customs delay. The following information is needed for customs clearance:

  • Detailed description
  • Manufacturers full name and address

Please forward the requested information to me via email. I will continue to monitor your file for updates and follow up with you tomorrow by 5pm your local time.
