Honey & “Magic Seeds” Slashes COVID Death Rate by ~75%: Landmark Trial
😷The world is "dying" for (or from a lack of) COVID-19 solutions....or so we are told. Between mRNA jabs, now pushed annually, monoclonal antibodies with sometimes deadly side effects, and various other concoctions that may acelerate the demise of the patient whose death, even if iatrogenic, will ultimately be blamed on "COVID." In light of this, the research in this video is all the more powerful a monkey in their increasingly nonsensical narrative.

I sleep really well, and that’s mainly because I prioritize and support good sleep.

I’ve been shocked, over the years, as so many clients tell me they don’t sleep well but they, “don’t want to take anything.” This makes zero sense.

Sleep is 1/3 of your day. It is a very important time when your brain detoxifies and your cells regenerate.

When you don’t sleep well, you can end up making poor decisions in the daytime, including with your food, relationship and exercise choices.

Here are some things I do at night to sleep weel, and I’m also linking to a new Sleep Summit:

  • Take progesterone (this is an Rx but there are some OTC options too)
  • Take 300 mg magnesium chelate (Supports rests and I generally have a BM every morning thanks to this)
  • Take gaba and/or 5-HTP (I find the gaba helps me deep sleep and the 5-HTP helps me fall asleep)
  • Meditate with Insight Timer app (most nights)
  • Take an epsom salt bath (some nights)
  • Stretch and foam roll (wish I did this more!)
  • Wear an eye mask
  • Mouth tape
  • Take high-potassium electrolytes for restless legs (sometimes)
  • Use a red light mat (sometimes)
  • Sauna with my ozone machine (sometimes)
  • Read (sometimes...reading can be more grounding than meditating!)

You can see I take getting ready for sleep seriously. It’s all easy to do because it’s my routine. And the payoff is that I sleep really well and wake up refreshed.

If you’re not getting enough hours of good sleep, I encourage you to attend the Sleep Summit. It starts next week and there are lots of tips about:

  • Restoring circadian rhythm
  • Sleep apnea
  • The blood sugar connection
  • The gut health connection
  • PEMF therapy
  • And much more.

Here's the link to attend- starts next Tuesday.

A Comprehensive Guide to Tincture Making

Learn The Ins and Outs of Herbal Tincture making!

Herbal medicine has been used throughout the ages. As long as people have been wandering around this planet, they have been poking herbs in their mouths and solving problems. The art of tincture-making can be traced to the early days of alcohol distillation. Numerous ancient civilizations, among them the Egyptians, recorded their practice of immersing plants in alcohol to craft their own herbal tinctures. Thousands of years later we are still making herbal medicine this way.
In Idaho we have a saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”...

Hi Jimi!
Johann Ilgenfritz was a globetrotting fashion photographer for almost 20 years when his life got flipped upside down. In 2011, he had a heart attack and six months later he was diagnosed with cancer. After conventional treatments failed, Johann was left to take matters into his own hands and focused on a holistic approach to healing.
I really love Johann's story because he kept it simple. He focused on the foundational anticancer strategies: a whole food plant-based diet, stress reduction and exercise. It took him two years to fully heal, and today,13 years later, he's still alive and thriving!
Don't miss this interview...
Topics include:
-Johann's stage 4 cancer diagnosis
-The bad news of a recurrence
-Taking matters into your own hands
-Believe that healing is possible
-Johann's anticancer diet
-Johann's lifestyle changes
-The importance of stress management
-Focus on the basics
-What cancer patients need to know
-Good health is a choice
-Healing takes time
-And more!
Enjoy!

Hi Jimi

In recent times, there's been a significant increase in our exposure to harmful chemicals, and it's far more concerning than we might think.

Research reveals that each year, more than 3,000 new and untested chemicals are introduced into our environment. This compounds the already staggering 100,000 toxic chemicals we encounter daily, which can lead to severe, life-altering illnesses.

This means that detoxing is no longer just a luxury for better health, but a necessity to survive and thrive in a world that’s getting more and more toxic.

And that’s where it gets challenging. How do we keep up when there are thousands upon thousands of toxins that pollute our environment as time goes on?

My friend Wendy Myers, a renowned expert in heavy metals and detoxification, will give you the answers you need and more in her upcoming limited-release docuseries, Heavy.

The first episode will be available on February 15th, and you can watch not only that but all the subsequent episodes for F.REE!

Get your F.REE ticket here to watch this new online series.
To help her get to the bottom of the problem, Wendy is joined by 107 wellness leaders who will share their expertise and assist you in effectively detoxifying your body of these harmful, life-threatening toxins.

On top of that, you’ll also learn the gaps in traditional and functional medicine when it comes to addressing our health challenges today and what you can do to fill in those gaps.

Here's a glimpse of the valuable information you'll gain from this series:

✅ The lead and toxins hiding in baby formula, dog food, and protein powders

✅ The 6 deadly ways toxins promote obesity

✅ Medications that are found in our so-called "clean" drinking water

✅ The sneaky way that toxins mimic hormones causing imbalances — and why HRT isn’t the solution

✅ The easiest and most effective things you can do to detox your body every day

And a lot more!

This is one of the most revealing and enlightening docuseries you’ll ever come across and can change your approach to a better health.

So if you’re excited to learn about the truths of our modern, toxin-heavy world and how you can stay healthy and thrive…

Don't miss out and register now to access this limited online series for F.REE.

Yours in good health,

Hi Jimi

I’ve always believed that if you want a healthy body, you need to make sure you’re feeding it with the right nutrients and minerals it needs to help you elevate your health.

And one of the best sources of the essential nutrients your body needs can be found in whole plants.

Plant-based diets offer a range of health benefits, making them a popular choice for those aiming to improve their overall health and manage their weight.

But if you’re just starting to learn about plant-based diets, you might have a hard time if you go on the internet.

There’s so much information available online that starting a plant-based diet can feel overwhelming. Not to mention you could end up getting misinformed, leading to unsatisfactory results.

If you want to cut through the noise and get only the FACTS about plant-based diets, look no further than my friend and the founder of Simply Plant Based Kitchen, Kim Murphy.

In a few days, Kim will be hosting a F.REE 5-Day Plant-based Challenge where you’ll learn everything you need to know about plant-based diets.

And you can join this challenge by signing up here.

Kim has made it her mission to help individuals achieve their health goals through the power of plant-based meals, so rest assured that you’ll be in good hands.

Throughout this challenge, she will guide you through the essentials of plant-based diets, including the science behind how they work and how they can enhance your overall health.

Here's what you can expect from this challenge for each day:

DAY 1: How animal foods are doing more harm than good

DAY 2: The processing of America - the problem with processed foods

DAY 3: Which is the best plant-based diet for health and wealth loss?

DAY 4: How to power your day with whole plants to get all the nutrients you need

DAY 5: How to make plant-based eating a lifestyle and not another yo-yo diet

Not only that, but you’ll also get to watch live cooking demonstrations, allowing you to explore delightful plant-based recipes that you can try out yourself!

Switching to a plant-based diet can be exciting, but remember that before making such a big switch, you need to be equipped with the right knowledge and tools first. Kim’s 5-Day Plant-based Challenge is a great starting point for that.

So if you can’t wait to make plant-based eating your vehicle of choice towards better health…

What to Do If You Suspect You Have Sleep Apnea

By Chauncey Crandall, M.D.

Sleep apnea is a common condition in which your breathing stops and restarts many times while you sleep. This can prevent your body from getting enough oxygen.

Symptoms include snoring, daytime sleepiness, dry mouth, sore throat or coughing when you wake up, morning headache, difficulty staying asleep, and problems paying attention or focusing.

Special: Blood Pressure & Love Life Helped by Doctor's 'Prescription.' See How.

If you think you might suffer from sleep apnea, ask your doctor for a referral to a reputable sleep clinic run by a hospital or medical school. Once there, you’ll get appropriate testing, evaluation, and follow-up.

A diagnosis of sleep apnea is confirmed if the person stops breathing for 10 seconds or more at least five times each hour while asleep.

People with moderate to severe sleep apnea are usually given a device called a continuous positive airway pressure device, or CPAP, a type of oxygen mask that delivers just enough air into the nose to keep the upper airway passages open. It must be used continually, or sleep apnea will return.

There is also an alternative for people who cannot tolerate the CPAP. Called the Inspire Upper Airway System, it’s a device that is surgically implanted below the collarbone and transmits electrical impulses to stimulate the tongue muscles, keeping airways open.

In addition, behavioral changes can also play a great role. If you’re overweight, the best thing you can do is lose the excess pounds, which could result in your sleep apnea disappearing. Eliminating alcohol and/or sedating medications can also provide relief.

Iodine: The Key to Gland Health

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., writes:

I’ve been studying iodine for decades. It is an essential element that we cannot live without, a fascinating substance that does not get enough attention from either conventional or holistic physicians. If I was limited to just one nutrient for the treatment of patients, I would choose iodine.

Iodine is concentrated in glandular tissues. The highest concentration occurs in the thyroid gland. However, all the tissues and the cells of the body require iodine for optimal function.

Special: Dr. Brownstein: Your Tiny Thyroid Causing Big Problems

Glands use energy in the form of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to ensure iodine is concentrated inside them. The reason for this is that glands cannot produce any hormone without an adequate supply of iodine.

Most people associate iodine with the thyroid gland, but it is also required by the ovaries, breasts, testicles, and adrenal glands to produce their hormones. Animal, human, and test-tube studies have shown that adequate iodine levels are required to promote the normal architecture of glands. In other words, if iodine is deficient, it sets in motion a pathological change resulting in disrupted structure of the glandular tissues. But if there is enough iodine in the glands, they will resemble healthy, normal tissue.

When I talk to physicians about iodine, I go into great detail about how its deficiency will result in the abnormal formation of glandular tissues. My hypothesis is that the reason why one in seven women have breast cancer and one in three men have prostate cancer — along with the rapid rise in other glandular cancers — is, in large part, because of iodine deficiency.

Iodine deficiency sets in motion a pathological process from which cysts are formed in the glandular tissue. If the deficiency continues, the cysts become hard and nodular. Later, the nodules can assume a hyperplastic appearance under a microscope. That is a precancerous condition.

If iodine deficiency continues over an even longer period, cancer can develop.

This mechanism could explain why we are seeing so many glandular cancers. Iodine levels have fallen so far that most Americans are deficient. In fact, studies from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) reveal that nearly 60% of women of childbearing age are iodine-deficient.

I have been testing iodine levels in patients for more than 20 years, and I can assure you that it’s not just women who are deficient. More than 97% of the 7,000+ patients I have tested showed low levels — most significantly low.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., editor of the Natural Way to Health newsletter, is a board-certified family physician and one of the nation’s foremost practitioners of holistic medicine. In addition to his practice, Dr. Brownstein has lectured internationally to physicians and is the author of more than a dozen very popular books.

Dear Jimi

Discovering the Power of Meditation and Breathwork for Cognitive Wellness:

I like to start every day off with meditation. It’s a guaranteed few moments of peace for myself. Other times a moment of practiced breathing techniques between recording summit interviews, a patient visit, or dropping my daughter off at school is all that I need to regain my focus.
Mindfulness practices can provide comfort and improve the quality of life for those with dementia and for their caregivers. They can contribute to increased gray matter density and enhanced connectivity between different regions of the brain.

I love that it’s an act that can be done together. The staff and residents at Marama spend time every day doing one of my favorite, research-backed meditation practices – a 12-minute Kirtan Kriya practice.

Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa and Dr. Andrew Newberg’s research found Kirtan Kiyra meditation specifically is a crucial component in the development of enhanced cognition and well-being. Kirtan Kirya’s impact on the brain are changes in the frontal lobes that regulate emotional responses and in the thalamus which helps regulate information flow in the nervous system. This may help prevent and reverse cognitive decline.

“When we brought people back after doing the practice for about eight weeks as part of our study, even at rest, their brain had more function in their frontal lobes, even when they weren’t meditating” quoted Dr. Newberg by Jefferson Health.

Another study published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease found that Kirtan Kirya meditation not only improved memory, cognitive function, quality of life, sleep, stress, and mood, but also affected the blood biomarker of Beta-amyloid 40 that is linked as a potential predictor of Alzheimer’s disease.

How can you learn Kirtan Kirya?

Take a Breath

Breathing exercises or breathwork is another practice backed by research for its benefits on cognitive function. “We know the sympathetic [fight or flight] and parasympathetic systems [rest and digest] influence the production and clearance of Alzheimer’s related peptides and proteins,” said USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology Professor Mara Mather in an article by the University of Southern California on breathing exercises and alzheimer’s risk.

Deep and slow breathing improved all measurements of retention and attention, working memory, and spatial perception in participants aged 65 and older according to a study published just last year.

Another study found that daily breathing exercises may help release peptides in the bloodstream which could lower the risk of Alzheimer’s disease according to this study.

There’s so much evidence that adding just one or a few of these mindfulness techniques into your day will improve cognitive performance. And for those of you that are caregiving, a few moments of practice can give you a moment of peace and resilience for all the difficulties you face in a day.

Warmly,
Dr. Heather Sandison
