We are not trying to be cut throat vendors. We wanted to give an opportunity for the VU members that are doubtful or on the fence to get the Asolo at a great price to try it. I've been using it and like it very much. Since the confidence in the Asolo was destroyed in this thread maybe if some people get it and actually post good things about it we can restore confidence in what I think is a good mod. After the sale the price is back to the regular price of $99.99. We make less money than other vendors. We are not greedy and as you know for Breazy it's more about helping our customers and fellow vapers. It's my opinion that this is right up there with everything else. So in all actuality people pay much more for name brand boxes that don't even do as much as this does. After the initial mis communications and language barrier, I think Grace has been very good at communicating with us and helping us to purchase the Asolo so that we can get it out there to you. Now it's up to you guys to try it and see what you think.
Grace said the black ones could be shipped sooner so we change our initial order to all black. It's really nice that's what I have. To be honest I like to keep things perfect and the sky blue boot is keeping it perfect lol wish they made it in black !

I haven't been reading here for a while, so I was surprised that no one seems to have mentioned Phil Busadro's quick take on this mod. According to him, it does not do temp control - no way, no how. He said that it might be doing something else but he had a lot of testing to do on it before he could say for sure.
I think it was mentioned somewhere, just not sure where ... I also think that Phil made it clear that it did not do temp control on KANTHAL, but temp control on Ni/Ti did work as expected ... I think ... From what I have read from others, it is more "dry hit control" with Kanthal ... I really wish I could get one to do a full review myself!
I think you're right. I should have worded that better. But after all, the entire driving factor of this elephantine thread is the ability to do TC on Kanthal. Or maybe with all the fluff, fights, diversionary tactics, and gnashing of teeth maybe it's no longer about that anyhow.
If that's so, then there was no need for all of us to expend the energy typing into this thread since mods doing NI/TI are being released almost daily.
Curiosity got the better of me to so I bought one last weekend when it was on sale for a killer price. I'll definitely give my impressions when I receive it.

Just got a DHL tracking number. Should be here by this weekend or early next week ? So shipping should be before pre sale date. The sale is still on also. Been extended until Friday. Again forget the Kanthal temp control thing. It does do dry hit prevention I tried it. I've been using it with a tank and a nickel coil and I love it ! My biggest thing that I love is the size and the price in comparison to other high end temp control mods.That's two. He said he would get 25. I don't know lol. Maybe when you get the tracking number you can track it and have a relative or neighbor get it. Or maybe we can delay your shipment if you want and hold yours until you tell us to ship it ?

isn't the minimum temp resistance range of 0.15 a bit on the higher side, shouldn't it have been 0.05?
OK so I watched the lengthy video lol. Good work Phil. I could see by the end that you were actually liking it. What I've found is that you have to use it for a while and get used to it. The Kanthal thing and dry hit prevention is a bonus, and did work every time for me with my Dark Horse and sub ohm tank. You did like it for the size and build quality which is what I really like it for. I think I got a different version than his. I had no play in the face plate, my buttons were tight and the bottom body of the unit were clearly marked plus and minus in white. So I did get something different. For testing of this device I learned one thing. Since it does work differently than anything we are used to, you absolutely must have airflow going over the coils when testing. It plays a big part in how it reads and/or works. You simply just cannot hit the fire button and look at it. It don't work like that. If you vape it with Kanthal in taste control mode and you can see the wattage as you vape you will see it does change up and down which indicates to me it is trying to regulate the temperature. Again you have to be vaping it while looking at or measuring anything. That's mighty hard to do lol. Some of the other things I agree with but thought they were trivial like the way it goes fast up and down in the accelerated mode. You pass it up you bring it back down or vice versa. I will agree and did mention to IJOY about having to short a time to select ni or ti but once you know how to do it you get used to it and deal with it. Again could be longer but kind of trivial because you can get it into ni or ti mode. The buttons I was told were a 1 second wait time in between presses. So pressing the T button you need to not go to fast or not to slow. knowing that you get used to that's the way it works. The 200 watts wasn't even an issue for me because I really vape everything at 40 or 50 watts. So it kind of goes back to what I said. For the price of $99.99 or the sale price we have it up for like $75.00, It's a well built box, small in size and it works good. I haven't picked up any of my other devices since I started using it. So to sum it up for me, The average vaper is really going to like it. If your going to buy it to use it to the extremes or try to make it do something it cannot do or to try and pick it apart technically like a designer or engineer then you might not like it.
